107: World submission, resource harvesting

For the high-level survivors of the entire Azure Star, those three days were an unprecedentedly long and agonizing ordeal.

When Michael and Hogan transmitted the "miracles" they had witnessed in Dragon City—the starry sky projection, the finger crushing a star, and the sword carving the moon—back to their respective headquarters via encrypted channels, the top brass of Eden and Valhalla fell into a profound silence.

All traces of luck and every ounce of dignity appeared pale and ridiculous in the face of that absolute, dimension-transcending power.

Resistance?

With what would they resist?

Were they truly going to initiate the so-called "Final Protocol," carpet-bomb the earth with nuclear missiles, and then pray that the opponent would be blown to death?

Would a being capable of casually carving characters on the moon care about puny nuclear bombs?

The answer was self-evident.

Ultimately, amidst endless struggle and despair, the leaders of the two giants made the same choice as Invincible in the East.

The morning of the third day.

Above Dragon City, two giant floating motherships appeared. They were vastly different in style, yet both represented the pinnacle of this world's technological advancement.

One was pure white, resembling the wings of an angel; it was Eden's flagship, "Heaven's Gate."

The other was pitch black as iron, exuding a sense of ruggedness and power; it was Valhalla's flagship, "Ragnarok."

Under the shocked and bewildered gazes of countless survivors in Dragon City, the two massive vessels slowly descended onto the grand plaza in front of the City Lord's Mansion.

The hatches opened.

The "God" of Eden—a mysterious being perpetually shrouded in Holy Light whose face could not be discerned—and Valhalla's "Odin," a man as majestic and robust as a polar bear, walked down the gangways side by side.

Behind them followed the highest-ranking councilors and generals of their respective factions. Each carried a metal case containing their civilization's core technical data and genetic serums.

Under the "guidance" of the Lord of Dragon City, Invincible in the East, these powerful figures who once dominated the fate of the wasteland world lowered their heads and entered the council hall that filled them with endless dread.

Upon the throne in the hall, Chu He had already been waiting for a long time.

The moment "God" and "Odin"—the world's strongest experts who, like Invincible in the East, were at the Peak of S-rank—saw Chu He, they felt an aura as vast and unfathomable as the Universe.

Without hesitation, they knelt on one knee.

"Eden is willing to offer everything we have to the supreme Dominator."

"Valhalla is willing to offer our loyalty to the great Conqueror."

At this point, all three giant factions of the Azure Star's human civilization had submitted.

Chu He was not at all surprised by this.

With an expressionless face, he extended his finger, and two Divine Soul Restrictions were instantly implanted into the bodies of "God" and "Odin," completely taking control over their life and death.

Subsequently, he began to issue a series of commands.

"First, from this day forward, the 'Azure Star Resource Integration Department' is established. Invincible in the East, God, and Odin will be jointly responsible, with Anya acting as my representative to supervise you."

"Second, gather all your energy crystal cores, rare metals, genetic data, and ruins' treasures into Dragon City to establish a central warehouse, which I will allocate uniformly."

"Third, integrate all your S-rank and A-rank ability users to form a 'Resource Exploration Legion.' Scour every corner of this planet for me, hunt down all powerful mutant beasts, explore all dangerous forbidden zones, and bring back everything of value!"

Chu He's orders were concise and efficient.

He wanted to turn the entire planet into a high-speed resource collection factory that served him!

Under Chu He's absolute will, the landscape of the entire Azure Star underwent a world-shaking transformation.

The three major powers that were once hostile to each other began to cooperate with unprecedented efficiency.

Countless resources converged upon Dragon City from all over the world like a rising tide.

High-energy crystal cores piled up like mountains, and various rare metals unheard of in the Xuanhuang Realm were categorized and stored in the warehouse.

Eden's core "Angel Gene Sequence," Valhalla's "Berserker Modification Technology," and Dragon City's "Dragon Blood Warrior Project"—data once regarded as top secrets by each party—were now neatly laid out before Chu He.

Like a greedy monarch, Chu He frantically devoured everything this world had to offer.

He had the System convert the technological data that was useless to him into basic data streams, storing them in the "Gene Laboratory" module for future needs.

And the "relics" sent to him, excavated from the ruins of the Old Era, allowed him to discover some interesting things.

These so-called "relics" were mostly creations of human civilization from the Old Era; some were superchips storing massive amounts of information, while others were mechanical parts with peculiar structures.

In one damaged spaceship motherboard chip, Chu He actually found some scattered records concerning "interstellar travel" and "other life-bearing planets."

This piqued his interest.

It seemed that before its destruction, the technology level of Azure Star had already reached a point where it could explore the Universe.

Just as Chu He was browsing through these "antiques" with great interest, Anya walked up to him, carrying a heavily protected metal case.

"Master, this is the only item we found in the top-secret ruins designated as '0.' It cannot be analyzed by any instrument, nor can it be destroyed by any means. We suspect it may be related to the 'Calamity' that caused the world's destruction."

Chu He became interested and gestured for Anya to open the case.

The moment the case opened, a peculiar energy fluctuation radiated outward.

In the center of the case lay an... egg? It was composed entirely of an unknown metal and its surface was covered in complex patterns.

The metal egg was about the size of a human head, dark silver in color, and felt cold and heavy to the touch.

Chu He's Divine Sense probed into it, only to be pushed back by a complex and powerful energy barrier.

But at the very instant his Divine Sense touched the barrier, the Primordial Dragon God Bloodline within his body actually produced an extremely faint... resonance!
