207: Create huge waves with bare hands!

If Chen Ming guessed correctly, he should be the commander of this fighter jet team.

As soon as he finished speaking, the other two fighter jets continuously emptied their missiles and bullets, targeting the Deep Sea Monster, outputting fire frantically, attempting to enrage it, and then using the fighter jets' speed to guide it to an uninhabited sea area.

Feeling the deluge of missiles and bullets, the Deep Sea Monster stopped again and turned around.

Whoosh!!

Its beard-like octopus tentacles, raised high like elephant trunks, before one could clearly see the details of its mouth, spat out a water column from it, like a laser, sweeping wildly in the air.

The flow speed of this water column was very fast, comparable to a water jet that could cut through steel plates!

The moment the missiles came into contact, they were cut into pieces, with no time to explode, and the same was true for the bullets.

Chen Ming had seen videos of water jet cutters defusing bombs before, so he wasn't surprised.

After eliminating all the missiles and bullets, the monster did not stop there and close its mouth.

It spat out salty, wet seawater with undiminished flow, attempting to shoot down the pilots and fighter jets.

Fortunately, the pilots' psychological quality and flying skills were excellent, performing various high-difficulty maneuvers in the air, continuous 360-degree rolls, vertical ascents... countless thrilling operations.

Just watching would make an ordinary person dizzy; roller coasters were like a small witch meeting a big witch in comparison.

Secondly, this was thanks to the superior combat performance of Great Xia's new fighter jets; their practical performance had never been disappointing.

Seeing the fighter jets escape the range that the seawater spray could reach, the monster lowered its tentacle beard, no longer fixated, and continued to advance towards the shore.

It had an attitude of absolutely needing to come ashore today, showing no intention of turning around and leaving.

The fighter jets' ammunition was completely depleted, so they could only return to the airport first to replenish ammunition and call for support from other armed forces.

Continuing to stay here, aside from wasting fuel, would achieve nothing?

Flying a plane to crash into the monster?

They had no such thoughts; on the one hand, the cost of fighter jets was high.

On the other hand, after several engagements, experience told the pilots that even if they were not afraid of death and sacrificed themselves resolutely, they would not have a chance to get close to the monster.

Simply because its reaction speed was too, too fast.

Getting slightly closer would inevitably lead to being caught by its tentacles and crushed!

After the distance was closed, facing so many tentacles, even with the highest flying skills and the strongest fighter jet performance, it would still be difficult to dodge.

Not being afraid of sacrifice did not mean making meaningless sacrifices.

Not long after the fighter jets withdrew, new ones quickly flew in.

Among them was also an armed helicopter.

Chen Ming noticed that the helicopter was slowly descending, and after approaching a distance of seven or eight meters from the ground, it entered a hovering state.

Then, the cabin door opened, and a fast rope was thrown down, and one person, yes, one person, not a team, fast-roped down from the cabin.

After he successfully landed, the helicopter quickly turned around, flew away, and pulled away to a safe range.

Chen Ming did not have much of an impression of the person himself.

After searching his memory carefully, he indeed did not recognize him.

Seeing him walk alone towards the monster, his feet sinking into the seawater, getting deeper and deeper.

Chen Ming was certain that he was most likely a professional Hunter who had recently fished up a skill. Being dispatched to a place like this indicated that his skill level was not low.

Although this monster, whose appearance was extremely similar to the Western Cthulhu mythology, could not be guaranteed to belong to the same species and possess divine power, just based on its appearance, reaching A-Rank was 100% possible.

Nowadays, talent is rare. The Star Alliance official allowing him to single-handedly come and confront an A-Rank, or even higher-level monster, was enough to prove that his strength was not low.

Chen Ming stopped his idea of harvesting and wanted to see what kind of skill he possessed.

He saw the Man facing the monster, bending down expressionlessly, putting his arms into the seawater, submerged up to his armpits.

Suddenly exerting force, he fiercely swung his arms upwards with palms facing up!

Immediately, the originally relatively calm sea surface suddenly surged up with giant waves dozens of meters high!

They surged towards the monster.

"Oh! A skill that can manually trigger a tsunami? Interesting."

In Chen Ming's opinion, this skill was likely deeply tied to "water" and required a specific environment to be cast.

It would be difficult, very difficult, to trigger a tsunami of this level with just a strength-based skill.

But it wasn't entirely impossible; perhaps the Man had awakened an SS-grade or even an SSS-grade Skill.

Rumble!!

The waves covered the monster, making a huge sound, like a tiger's roar and a dragon's cry, pressing down on it.

The immense force contained within the waves inevitably forced the monster back several steps, but that was all.

"Damn it! It's not working?"

The Man decided to try again and bent down, submerging both arms into the seawater.

Boom! Boom! Boom...

This time, three giant waves were continuously stirred up.

By the third wave, it was clearly visible that this large wave was one-third smaller than the first one.

Even so, it was still twenty to thirty meters high, not to be underestimated by humans!

The Man, feeling powerless, swayed unsteadily, retreated several steps backward, and then fell onto the beach with a thud.

He showed signs of exhaustion, his mouth wide open, panting heavily and nonstop.

The three waves pressed towards the monster in quick succession, with astonishing momentum.

This time, the monster no longer stood by and allowed the attack.

It raised its arms, and dozens of tentacles grew wildly, quickly coiling together.

First, they were assembled into a round shield, and then continuously stacked forward.

Shaped like a drill, it blocked in front of its body.

When the large waves struck, they were directly cut open and surged past the sides of the monster's body.

Colliding with the sea surface, they then turned into countless waves, surging outwards.

White spray, paired with the turbulent flow, possessed a unique beauty.

"Ho-how could this be..."

Looking at the Deep Sea Monster, which he had managed to force back a few steps with all his strength, now walking forward again.

Not only was the Man physically exhausted, but his heart was also weary.

Reality was far from as smooth as he had imagined.

The tentacles uncoiled, returning to their original state, the entire process was quite smooth.

The mucus on the tentacles, shimmering with luster, looked like lubricant.

The monster continued to advance, approaching the coast.

The missiles and bullets fired by the fighter jets were swept away, shot down, and detonated prematurely by the extending tentacle whiskers dancing wildly in the air.

It seemed to have figured out the pattern of human attacks; at this point, it was too lazy to even turn its body, highlighting the word 'perfunctory'.

The new fighter jets quickly ran out of ammunition, but they had no effect whatsoever.

If anything, perhaps... they just made some noise?

The armed helicopter still wanted to approach, taking action immediately, planning to provide cover and assist the Man in withdrawing.

Seeing the monster less than fifty meters away from him, it quickly pulled the trigger and fired several missiles.

The missiles were about to hit the monster when they were wrapped by tentacles, easily turned around, and aimed at the Man.

"..." With widened eyes, his pupils trembling slightly, staring at the several red-tipped missiles flying towards him, all the Man could think about was getting up to resist.

However, his hands and feet simply wouldn't obey.

They trembled badly, not having recovered from the previous attack, feeling very sore, weak, and powerless.
