70: abyss

Bang!

Before Chen Ming could think too much, a deafening crash of breaking glass entered his ears.

A large glass wall shattered with a crash, and the broken fragments flew everywhere, denser than raindrops.

At the same time, a figure flew out.

The person was covered in blood, their limbs severely twisted, and they were still impaled with many glass fragments.

If they had died like that, it would have been fortunate, but instead, they were left with a breath, twitching constantly on the ground.

Facing the swarming Zombies, they were helpless and were quickly swallowed, bite by bite, gnawing at their body.

“It seems there might be Advanced Zombies hidden in that building.”

Judging by the attack power, based on Chen Ming's experience, it was definitely not caused by low-level Zombies.

Bang! Bang!

Then, two more gunshots rang out, but soon, silence returned.

Chen Ming didn't think that a simple two shots could take care of the monsters; it was more likely that the person who fired the shots was taken care of.

Closing and opening his eyes, an Undead Crow circled above him.

Chen Ming swooped down vertically, landing on a street lamp across the road.

Then he looked into the building.

Two Titan Zombies came into view.

One was holding one of the three people, greedily gnawing on them like a chicken leg.

The other person, seeing the bad situation, quickly dropped the red fire axe in their hand and turned to try and escape.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh...

At this moment, seven or eight tongues, as thick as Chen Ming's wrist, extended from behind her, spreading out like flower stamens, instantly wrapping around her, constricting tightly, sinking into her flesh.

Then, with a sudden yank, in a state of extreme despair, the woman was dragged back, forcibly folded, her bones cracking, and swallowed into the gaping, fishy-smelling mouth.

'So, the mutated skill of the Titan Zombie isn't just the bone blade protruding from its arm.'

This reminded Chen Ming that he should be more careful when facing Titan Zombies in the future to avoid sneak attacks.

As the saying goes, know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated.

Collecting more information is always a good thing.

Chen Ming casually released two Goblin Warriors.

The Titan Zombie didn't even have a chance to react before its head was smashed by a mace.

It was easily cut in half from head to toe by the Goblin, who held a sword in both hands, like a hot knife through lard.

【Successfully killed Titan Zombie! Congratulations to the host for obtaining black iron treasure box +2!】

【Extracting...】

【Extraction successful! Congratulations to the host for obtaining new Undead Servant: Titan Zombie +2!】

Kill, get treasure chests, extract Undead, all in one go.

His thoughts returned.

Since he had already started, Chen Ming didn't mind clearing out all the other visible Zombies.

With a wave of his hand, the Poison Mist skill surged like a flood breaking a dam, filling the entire street in a few seconds.

【Successfully killed Zombie! Congratulations to the host for obtaining wood treasure box +1!】

【Successfully killed Zombie! Congratulations to the host for obtaining wood treasure box +1!】

【Successfully killed Zombie Dog! Congratulations to the host for obtaining wood treasure box +2!】

...

Once the poison mist formed, all Chen Ming needed to do was silently harvest.

Thousands of Zombies, if replaced by Special Ops Soldiers, even deploying hundreds of people would take quite some time to eliminate completely.

And during this process, zero casualties could not be guaranteed.

But Chen Ming only took less than thirty seconds.

The Zombies in the poison mist were completely defenseless, dying in large swaths.

Chen Ming got so many wood treasure boxes that his hands felt soft.

After killing the enemies, the poison mist automatically thinned and dissipated.

Chen Ming immediately followed up with the next step, select all, extract Undead!

【Extracting...】

【Extraction successful! Congratulations to the host for obtaining new Undead Servant: Undead Zombie +4899!】

For others, the overwhelming number of Zombies was terrifying.

But for Chen Ming, the overwhelming number of Zombies was beneficial, with no drawbacks.

It couldn't be said there were absolutely no drawbacks, just that for him, they were so small they could be ignored.

Getting four-digit Undead Servants in one go put him in a great mood.

The entire street was now strewn with Zombie corpses, lying haphazardly, and this silent environment created a strangely chilling atmosphere.

Chen Ming, however, paid no mind to this, took out the treasure map, and opened it.

【You have arrived at the entrance of the Treasure Secret Realm. Do you wish to open it?】

【Yes】【No】

Again, bloody text appeared on the parchment in Chen Ming's hand.

Chen Ming chose 【Yes】.

Immediately, a red vortex appeared before him.

Chen Ming walked in without hesitation.

The entrance closed right after.

Unlike the previous Goblin instance, the Treasure Secret Realm only allows users with a treasure map to enter.

In the blink of an eye, a scene of a desolate desert, with yellow sand filling the sky, came into Chen Ming's view.

Looking around, no matter where he looked, it was an endless, barren desert.

Further away, it was covered and shrouded in thick fog, making it impossible to see through.

Besides that, the only thing that made him uneasy was a deep abyss just a few meters away from Chen Ming.

The width was at least several hundred meters.

Chen Ming took a few steps forward and looked down.

It was pitch black, and he felt as if he was wrapped in an invisible force, with a sense of déjà vu of being on the verge of falling.

Just as Chen Ming was about to activate his night vision skill, his danger sense triggered first.

Chen Ming stepped back, and then saw a long spear shoot up from below the abyss, landing in an arc and embedding itself in the ground.

The force was considerable, the spearhead almost completely buried in the rocks.

If Chen Ming hadn't dodged, that spear would have easily pierced his head.

Boom! Boom! Boom...

The sound of something flapping its wings caught Chen Ming's attention.

Turning his head, he saw monsters emerging one after another from below the abyss, flapping their wings.

They had human torsos but were covered in scales, their skin even darker green than Goblins, their heads somewhat resembled lizards, with horns on their heads and two long whiskers.

Wings grew on both sides of their arms, connected by broad wing membranes under their armpits, and when fully spread, they could glide for a long distance.

“Dragon People?” Chen Ming wasn't sure, he had seen similar monsters in the game.

They didn't give him much time to think; those monsters were already charging towards Chen Ming in a gliding posture, holding long spears.

The whole person and spear were integrated into one.

Chen Ming immediately released all his Goblins and Shadow Wolves, forming a large formation in front of him.

Ordinary Goblins threw the stone axes in their hands, heavily damaging the Dragon People's heads.

While they were stunned, the Goblin Archers released their bowstrings, shooting arrows into their eyes, causing blood to spurt out!

Or, the Giant Goblin Warrior's hammer, sword, or axe would completely send them to their demise.

The Shadow Wolf pack was not to be outdone, taking a big leap, pouncing, and knocking the Dragon People down from the air, first biting off their wings with two bites, then biting fiercely on their necks, cutting off the opponent's head faster than a chainsaw.

Although many were dealt with, even more Dragon People began to emerge from the abyss.

Their numbers blotted out the sky!

Forming a sharp contrast with Chen Ming's Undead Legion.

However, he didn't plan to add more troops, believing these Undead were enough to win!

The great battle was about to erupt!
