Chapter 210: DUG HER OWN GRAVE

Three days later, the two carriages finally entered the Royal capital, moving steadily through the streets toward the homes of the Grand Duke and the Duke.

As soon as the carriage entered the mansion and stopped, Aristia quickly stepped down from the carriage with Millie before bringing Alaric down with her.

It wasn’t her fault that she was impatient to get down from the carriage. It was just that these three days that they had been traveling, Wilson had been impatient.

She scoffed. They had stopped at inns during their journey and Wilson obviously wanted Catherine, but Catherine took advantage of the fact that they were outside in inns that weren’t soundproof and gave him no chance.

She probably used them as an excuse, saying that the children would hear since the inns lacked soundproofing.

Wilson wanted to send them outside to play, anything to make them leave he and his wife alone, and Aristia was more than ready to oblige, but Catherine refused, saying that they would catch a cold.

Wilson then wanted to send them to Maxim and his family, but Catherine shook her head, saying that they were all at the same inn.

The reason was that if they did anything, not only would the children hear, but her brother and his wife would.

Wilson was just like a hungry lion that had been fed a slice of meat but had meat dangling in front of him, within reach but not being able to take it. It made the lion even more restless.

The Coachman kept sweating even with the cold weather, but he really couldn’t do anything. The horses couldn’t go any faster on the snow.

Aristia felt awkward the whole ride and her gaze would occasionally flicker to Catherine who had a calm, relaxed expression on her face.

[Why would you want to torture him, mama?] She thought.



Catherine met her gaze and smiled gently, not knowing what was on her daughter’s mind.

Now that Alaric, Aristia and Millie had come down from the carriage, they waited for their parents to come down.

Catherine came down and turned too, waiting for Wilson.

Finally, Wilson came down, exuding all the iciness of a glacier.

The servants waiting in line to greet them, "..."

What was wrong with the master?

They were now unsure of whether to go ahead with their greeting or not.

In the end, they couldn’t just keep silent.

"Welcome back, masters."

Catherine was in a good mood, nodding at them, Wilson just outright ignored them, and Aristia and Alaric were sweethearts, smiling sweetly and nodding at them.

The servants quickly dispersed after carrying their luggages inside, not wanting to stay a second longer and risk drawing Wilson’s attention to them any more than necessary.

[Oh? It’s the first time I’ve seen these robotic servants show fear. So everyone’s afraid of Papa’s anger.] Aristia thought.

Only the butler remained outside. He obviously noticed Wilson’s foul mood and glanced at them, trying to find out the reason for it.

It didn’t take long for him to find out why though.

Before he could do anything, Catherine turned to everyone.

"Let’s go inside, shall we? I’m sure the children are tired from the long journey."

While she spoke, she had already turned and entered the mansion.

[Is she really unaware or is she just pretending?]

There was silence for a few seconds before everyone followed.

Aristia stared at her mother’s back for a few seconds, pity in her eyes.

[She doesn’t know what she’s doing. How long will Wilson be able to endure her torture? Isn’t she just digging her own grave? I’m sure she’ll be regretting her actions tomorrow.] She shook her head.

They went upstairs and past different corridors until Aristia had enough.

Deciding to escape from the tension, she grabbed Alaric’s hand.

"Follow me, Al. Let me show you some paintings I’ve made for Lily’s storybook."



Alaric was confused. When had Aristia painted anything?

"When did you paint?" He asked.

The adults also looked down at her, wondering what time she had painted.

"Haha," Aristia laughed nervously. Was now the time to ask questions?! "Alaric, you’re so funny. Don’t you know that I painted?"

Alaric was still confused, but he still followed.

The adults were now alone in the hallway.

The Butler sighed with relief. Now he didn’t need to think about how to lead the children away. The princess had unknowingly done it.

He looked up at his Master and Madam.

"Please excuse me, Master and Madam. I will attend my duties now." He quickly left before even Catherine or Wilson could respond.

Wilson finally turned his attention to his wife.

Catherine turned to him with the same smile on her face.

However, the next moment, the smile on her face vanished.

She opened her mouth but before she could speak, she was pulled against the wall.

"Ah—!" Before she could speak, her mouth was covered by a warm mouth. "Mm."

Wilson kissed her deeply, feeling like he couldn’t get enough.

Just when Catherine thought it was over, she was pulled into a room.

Coincidentally, they had been standing in the hallway their room was in. It was their room that Wilson had pulled her into.

The door closed behind them and the next moment, Catherine felt herself on the bed.

Before she could take a breath and sit up, her mouth was enclosed again.

"Wil— mm!"

She was in disbelief. He had bitten her lip!

Wilson devoured her lips hungrily, biting, gnawing and sucking.

Finally, he raised his head to look at her.

"You’ve had your fun teasing me, haven’t you?"



Catherine blushed furiously, and it only increased Wilson’s desire to eat her whole.

She opened her mouth to speak again, but she already anticipated it. When Wilson leaned down to crash his lips over hers again, she blocked him with his hand.

"W-wait," she stuttered.

Wilson stopped and looked at her, waiting to hear what she would say.

"I-I want to change out of this dress." She stammered out.

"Don’t worry. You won’t be wearing it soon."

Wilson’s words stunned her, and the look in his eyes made her knees go weak.

Wilson then grabbed her hand that was hindering him and pinned it down on the bed.

Rippp!!!

With his other hand, he ripped the gown open.

"Mm~"

That night, Catherine learnt not to tempt the sleeping lion.
