131: Buy a fishing boat

A precise catapult sent him into the soft embrace of the beast-eared girls, enjoying their caresses.

In the early morning, sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves and fell on the ground. Chen Xiangbei, dressed in comfortable sportswear, arrived early at a school's sports field and began his morning exercise.

He stepped lightly onto the track, his pace steady and powerful. Each step was full of strength, his soles pressing firmly against the ground, making a slight sound.

Sometimes he would speed up, sprinting like a gust of wind, and sometimes he would slow down, adjusting his breathing. Sweat dripped from his forehead; he slightly raised his arm, wiped away the sweat, and continued forward.

While running, his body leaned slightly forward, his core muscles tightened, maintaining a good posture. His breathing was steady and rhythmic, perfectly matching his steps.

Occasionally, he would stop to do some stretching exercises. He would straighten his arms, bend his body backward, stretching the muscles in his back and legs.

Every movement was smooth and natural, demonstrating his precise control over his body.

Chen Xiangbei's morning exercise was full of power and beauty; he enjoyed the happiness and fulfillment that exercise brought.

He hadn't had a proper workout in a long time, so he was exceptionally focused today, exercising for nearly two hours.

By the time he returned home drenched in sweat, it was almost nine o'clock. He quickly headed to the bathroom for a shower.

After coming out, he called Zhang Chenchen to go over the song they were collaborating on online and also chatted about music-related topics.

The two of them got along well, and the call lasted for nearly two hours; anyone who didn't know better would have thought they were dating.

Seeing that it was almost eleven o'clock, Chen Xiangbei felt a bit anxious because he had an important dinner engagement soon. Therefore, he had to say goodbye to Zhang Chenchen.

The two agreed to meet tomorrow afternoon and could continue the topics they hadn't finished discussing.

As soon as he finished speaking, Chen Xiangbei quickly hung up the phone, hurriedly changed his clothes, and then rushed out the door.

It was almost twelve o'clock at noon when Chen Xiangbei finally arrived at Tianhai Tower on time. Chen Wen and the others had not yet arrived.

He went in ahead of time to book a private room and order the dishes. Before long, Chen Wen and his companion arrived.

As soon as they saw Chen Xiangbei, both of them acted extremely exaggeratedly, like long-lost friends reuniting, gesturing wildly and talking endlessly.

During the meal, Chen Xiangbei told Chen Wen his purpose.

"Wen-ge, didn't I tell you last time that I wanted to buy a fishing boat? If I buy it now, how long will it take to get it?"

Chen Wen replied, "I'm not too sure. The specific situation depends on the shipyard. If they have stock, it should be possible to get it done right away."

"Then let's go see if they have any later, okay? If they do, I'll finalize it today."

"Okay, I'll call my friend and ask him to inform the shipyard. I believe the shipyard will welcome us warmly."

After speaking, Chen Wen took out his phone and called his friend.

After a conversation, Chen Wen hung up the phone and said to Chen Xiangbei, "He said we can just go over this afternoon. He's letting them know now."

"Alright, let's go after we finish eating. We'll probably be done around that time anyway."

The three brothers ate and chatted, and Chen Xiangbei recounted his experiences from the past few days.

Among them was encountering those hooligan-like youths on Xisha Island.

Chen Wen said there was no need to worry; if there was anything he couldn't handle, he should call him, as he still had some connections.

In fact, Chen Xiangbei wasn't worried about those delinquents coming after him; he was actually hoping they would. His full combat power hadn't been properly utilized before they went down, which wasn't satisfying at all.

What he was worried about was them causing trouble for Li An and the others; at that time, he would be stretched thin and unable to handle it well.

After Zhao Hu learned about his situation, he quickly patted his chest and guaranteed that within the territory of Linhai City, he still had some connections.

He would have his brothers greet the people who hung around on the streets, and if anyone was causing trouble recently, they should inform him immediately so he could be prepared.

Only then did Chen Xiangbei relax. At this moment, he realized the importance of connections. If he were alone, he wouldn't have to worry about these things, but he had friends, so he couldn't act recklessly.

After eating, the brothers drove to the largest commercial shipyard in Linhai City. Its shipbuilding technology and capabilities ranked among the top ten nationwide.

After parking the car, Chen Xiangbei and the others came to the reception center. Chen Wen spoke directly to the staff there.

"Please ask your manager to come out. Just say Chen Wen and the others are here, and he'll understand."

The reception center staff didn't dare to delay and quickly went upstairs to inform the manager of the situation.

After learning of this news, the manager also quickly came downstairs because he had just received a call from an important old client saying that he had some friends coming to buy a boat.

On one hand was an old client, and on the other was business; by both reason and sentiment, he couldn't neglect them.

Rushing downstairs, he saw Chen Xiangbei and the other two sitting in the lounge drinking tea, and his heart instantly relaxed. He was afraid the reception staff hadn't taken them seriously.

With brisk steps, he came before them, extended his hand, and shook hands with each person.

"Welcome everyone to Linhai Shipyard, and thank you for choosing us. This is our greatest recognition!"

Chen Wen exchanged a few polite words with him, then got straight to the point, saying.

"This friend of mine is an experienced fishing enthusiast, so he came to your shipyard to see if there are any fishing boats with good performance. Could the manager please show us around and introduce them?"

"Of course, that's no problem at all. At our shipyard, we have all types of commercial and civilian vessels, and they are all readily available. If you're not satisfied, we can even customize them! Please follow me."

So, the three brothers followed the manager to the dock where finished vessels were stored. Along the way, the manager asked Chen Xiangbei about his requirements.

After understanding his needs, they arrived at Dock Number Three, which was specifically for storing fishing boats.

Because Linhai City is by the sea and there's no shortage of wealthy people, sea fishing happens to be one of the recreational activities that wealthy people enjoy, making fishing boats an important choice for them.

Therefore, the shipyard constantly produces fishing boats, which are kept in the dock for maintenance and are ready for sale at any time.

The moment Chen Xiangbei stepped into the dock, his gaze was immediately drawn to the various luxurious fishing boats.

His eyes widened, and an expression of amazement appeared on his face. These fishing boats had smooth lines, exquisite appearances, and exuded an aura of luxury and prestige.

He involuntarily walked closer to a boat, reached out, and gently touched the hull, feeling the smooth texture. He could almost imagine himself driving this boat speeding across the sea.
