162: Lu Bu, the god from heaven, struck fifty blows

Looking at Manager Lan's receding back, Chen Xiangbei thought: He looks quite old for 28, if you didn't tell me, I would have thought he was 48, making me think he was a Middle-aged man at first!

After Manager Lan left, Wang Xue also finished her work. After bidding farewell to Chen Xiangbei, she also got into a car and went back.

Chen Xiangbei had sorted out the fish selling business, and next was the fishing business.

He put the few ribbonfish he had deliberately saved into the fish box, then carried the fish box off the fishing boat and went to the market at the Fishermen's Wharf to find an empty spot with a signpost to set up a stall there.

He took out a sports camera from his pocket, fixed it to the pole of the signpost, and turned on the recording switch.

Then he opened the fish box and just left it there, with no shouting or any signs.

Chen Xiangbei was selling fish, and at the same time, he was fishing.

He was selling ribbonfish, and fishing for "big fish".

His fishing boat had been docked at the Fishermen's Wharf for so long, the news should have spread back. It wouldn't be long before the other party brought people over, and that would be the time to collect the fish.

Sure enough, after not long, seven or eight Jinbei vans were seen driving into the Fishermen's Wharf.

These vehicles surrounded the exit of the Fishermen's Wharf market tightly. The car doors opened one by one, and seven or eight people got out of each car.

Their clothing varied, but all revealed a sense of unrestrainedness and wildness.

Some wore worn-out denim jackets paired with ripped jeans. Others wore T-shirts with exaggerated patterns paired with loose sweatpants.

These people had multi-colored, bizarre hairstyles, and their faces carried expressions of indifference and provocation.

They chewed gum, smoked cigarettes, and swayed when they walked, as if the whole world was beneath them.

When the surrounding people saw them appear, fear couldn't help but surge in their hearts. Some turned pale, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.

Some tightly grabbed the people next to them, as if they could gain a sense of security from it. Others tried to quietly move away from the place, afraid of attracting the attention of these thugs.

These young men held various weapons in their hands, such as iron rods, machetes, etc., which gleamed coldly in the sunlight.

The leader, however, was wearing a neat suit, a tie, and sunglasses, forming a stark contrast with the others.

The group swaggered towards Chen Xiangbei, frightening people into giving way wherever they passed.

When the group arrived in front of Chen Xiangbei, the leading man in the suit spoke, "You're the one who came to my territory to sell fish and injured my men, right?"

"Who are you? Do I know you? I don't talk to people without names," Chen Xiangbei said lightly.

"Heh heh, quite a temper, huh? My name is Li Gang, people on the street call me Brother Gang. I'm the boss of this area, this Fishermen's Wharf is under my control. If you don't follow my rules, you're not giving me face. What do you say we do?"

"What do you say we do?" Chen Xiangbei asked back with a smile.

"It's simple, I'll give you three choices."

"First, pay a fine of one million, and then leave behind a hand or a leg."

"Second, give us your fishing boat as compensation."

"Third, you refuse my demands, and I'll break your limbs."

Chen Xiangbei dug his ear, and said with an exaggerated tone, "What! You want to rob my money and my fishing boat?"

Li Gang smiled, thinking the other party was scared by him, and said, "That's right. As long as you hand over the money and the fishing boat to me, I'll let you off the hook and spare you a beating. How about it?"

Chen Xiangbei feigned panic and said, "No, no, no, don't hit me. I'll give you the money, and the fishing boat too. Please don't kill me!"

Then, he was seen taking out a card and the fishing boat keys from his pants pocket and handing them to Li Gang.

Li Gang took the card and keys, his heart blooming with joy, thinking: I've been in this line for so long, and today I finally hit the jackpot, woohoo~

He said to Chen Xiangbei, "Alright, seeing as you're so sensible, I'll let you off today. If you dare to come here to sell fish again next time, it won't just be about money."

After speaking, he was about to leave, but Chen Xiangbei stopped him just as he turned around.

"Hold on!"

Li Gang turned back and asked doubtfully, "Is there anything else?"

"I suddenly remembered there's something important I haven't done yet, you can't leave," he said as he walked towards the signpost, took down the sports camera, turned it off, and put it in his pocket, which was actually putting it into his spatial storage.

Seeing this scene, Li Gang's heart skipped a beat, and he said angrily, "You dare to trick me? Men, come on, beat him to death for me, you must get that camera back."

The thugs instantly held their clubs and rushed forward like a surging tide. The scene was exactly like a Hong Kong drama battle shown on TV.

Chen Xiangbei, however, remained calm and collected, and steadily picked up the rebar he had prepared earlier.

His eyes sparkled with determination and courage, and the rebar in his hand seemed to come alive under his control.

He was seen flicking his wrist flexibly, smoothly performing a few staff flourishes, accompanied by sharp wind sounds, and swinging it accurately and mercilessly towards the first person who rushed up.

With two heavy thuds, that person screamed and fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

Immediately after, Chen Xiangbei's movements didn't stop at all. He delivered a swift frontal kick, as fast as a gust of wind, accurately hitting the face of another yellow-haired young man. The yellow-haired young man was caught off guard, staggered back a few steps, and almost fell.

Facing the continuous influx of enemies from all around, Chen Xiangbei's figure was nimble like a ghost, moving freely through the crowd. Every one of his movements was clean and sharp, without any wasted motion.

The rebar in his hand seemed to be endowed with magical power. Every swing carried the sound of breaking air, forcing the enemies to retreat repeatedly and cry out in pain.

The enemies' clubs rained down densely, but Chen Xiangbei always managed to skillfully avoid them with his keen insight and agile movements.

At times, he would lightly sidestep, the clubs missing him by a hair's breadth; at times, he would quickly duck, causing the enemies' attacks to completely miss; at times, he would skillfully block attacks with the rebar, neutralizing the enemies' offensives.

In this thrilling battle of one against fifty, Chen Xiangbei was like a war god possessed. His bravery and strength were astonishing, and the onlookers were all greatly shocked.

In less than ten minutes, in front of Chen Xiangbei, besides Li Gang in the suit, there was no one else left standing.

Holding the rebar, he slowly walked towards Li Gang. Every step he took was like a death knell, heavily treading on the suited man's heart.

Watching Chen Xiangbei walk closer step by step, his legs trembled uncontrollably. The hand holding the card and boat keys shook more violently than someone with Parkinson's disease.

He stared intently at Chen Xiangbei, looking at the rebar in his hand, as thick as a baby's thigh. In the scorching summer heat, a cold sweat broke out.
