36: Visit Baiyun Lake again

"I just raise some small to medium-sized Ornamental Fish that I caught at Baiyun Lake. There are fighting fish, Ram Cichlids, as well as Lionhead Goldfish and Butterfly Koi. There are quite a few of them."

"That's simple. I can set you up with an ecological tank that simulates the ecosystem of Baiyun Lake. The price is a bit high, though, around 5000 yuan. Can you accept that?"

"Money is not a problem. Just use the best setup. Go ahead and build whatever you want within 50,000 yuan. I'll take it all once it's done. I can pay a deposit first," Chen Xiangbei said.

"Alright, you pay a deposit first. It will take about an hour to set it up. You can leave your address and phone number. Once it's ready, I'll deliver it directly to your home and help you install and debug it," the Shop Owner said.

After Chen Xiangbei paid the deposit and left his address and phone number, he drove back.

Because the Master who was installing the broadband network was about to arrive.

When he drove back to the main entrance of Galaxy International, the Master pulling the network cable called.

"Hello, I'm Master Liu, the network installer. I'll be there in about ten minutes. Are you available now?"

Chen Xiangbei replied, "Yes, I'm available. Just come over. I'll wait for you at home."

"Okay, please wait a moment. I'm already on my way." He hung up after speaking.

Chen Xiangbei returned home, made a cup of coffee with the coffee machine in the kitchen, and went back to the living room to drink coffee and enjoy the air conditioning.

Halfway through his coffee, the doorbell rang. He ran to open the door, and it was Master Liu.

He told Master Liu his requirements.

Use the best router and set up a super-fast, wall-penetrating network.

A network cable interface should be installed in each room to ensure that every room can use a computer.

Master Liu had been in this line of work for many years. He quickly started wiring according to his requirements, then opened the account, activated the equipment, and debugged them one by one.

It was done quickly. Chen Xiangbei took two bottles of drinks, offered them to Master Liu, and thanked him.

"Thank you, Master Liu. Your efficiency is amazing."

"It's just practice makes perfect. If you have any problems in the future, you can call me. My phone number is on the router. I'll be leaving now; I still have another house to go to."

"Thanks a lot, Master Liu. Take care."

After seeing Master Liu off, Chen Xiangbei turned on his computer to test it. The internet speed was extremely fast.

Downloading a 1GB file only took 20 seconds. The WiFi signal was also super strong and stable; he could use the living room's WiFi normally in the bedroom.

Everything was fine, and Chen Xiangbei felt relieved.

Sitting on the soft sofa, he continued to drink the coffee that had already gone cold. He didn't care about the temperature in the hot weather.

He carefully looked around the living room and found two spots suitable for placing a fish tank.

One spot was behind the entrance foyer, where there was an empty space originally intended for a wine cabinet.

He didn't have a drinking habit, so he didn't install a wine cabinet and left the space to put other things.

The other spot was the balcony wall in the area between the sofa and the balcony. This wall was 3 meters long and also suitable for placing a fish tank.

He thought about it and felt that the fish tank would look better in an open space.

So he chose the empty space for the wine cabinet. The fish tank placed there could be viewed from all sides.

While he was thinking, his phone rang. He answered it, and it was the Shop Owner from the fish tank shop calling.

The Shop Owner said the fish tank was already at the community entrance and asked him to tell the security guard to let them in.

Chen Xiangbei asked him to give the phone to the security guard. The security guard took the call and let them in after hearing him introduce himself.

Soon after, the Shop Owner brought his workers and carried up the fish tank and other equipment.

Chen Xiangbei showed them where to install it.

The staff placed the fish tank in the designated spot, then put the decorative modules into the tank piece by piece and assembled them.

After assembling the modules, they installed the circulation System inside the fish tank's rockery and debugged it.

Finally, they installed the lighting System, placing light fixtures inside and above the fish tank.

After everything was ready, they turned on the circulation System and the lights, and a fish tank simulating the ecological environment of Baiyun Lake was complete.

Chen Xiangbei transferred all the fish from the fish boxes into the ecological fish tank.

The fish were very flustered when they first arrived in the unfamiliar environment.

They all hid in the cracks of the rocks. After a while, seemingly feeling no danger, they swam out again.

Chen Xiangbei threw some bait in for them; it was the Secret Bait.

This bait also had the effects of enhancing physical fitness and increasing satiety.

Everything was done. Chen Xiangbei paid the remaining balance, a total of 49,800 yuan. After settling the bill, the Shop Owner left happily.

Chen Xiangbei looked at the fish scrambling for food, then checked the time. It was already past 11 o'clock.

He thought, I'll go fishing after eating. I'll fish until 10 PM before coming back.

So, he stayed at home for a while.

Since moving into his new home, he hadn't really stayed in except for sleeping; he had always been busy outside.

He collected all the clothes from the balcony and sorted them into the walk-in closet.

He suddenly realized that besides clothes and shoes, he had very few other accessories, such as watches, backpacks, etc. He felt the urge to shop again.

While having lunch, Chen Xiangbei called his family and told them that he was doing very well now and earning a lot, asking his parents to not worry.

Before hanging up, he also transferred 8,000 yuan back to them. He didn't want to transfer too much at once, fearing they would overthink it.

At first, his parents were reluctant to accept it. Chen Xiangbei talked for a while, and finally, when he said he could earn over 20,000 yuan a month with bonuses, they were willing to accept it.

Afterwards, they gave him a lot of instructions, telling him to eat on time no matter how busy he was, not to eat randomly, and that outside food wasn't clean, and so on.

After finishing the call, he let out a long sigh.

He thought, I need to figure out a good way to make them accept the fact that I've made a lot of money.

Otherwise, every time I send money back, they worry about this and that.

At exactly 2 PM, Chen Xiangbei set off for Baiyun Lake. Having lunch and making a phone call had delayed him a bit.

On the way, he passed by a fishing tackle shop.

He went in and bought a handcart to carry the fish catch box. He could pull it along, otherwise, every time it was full, he would have to run back to his car.

At 3 PM, he finally arrived at Baiyun Lake.

He got out of the car, took down the small cart, put all his equipment on it, and mixed the Secret Bait while there weren't many people around.

Then he walked towards the direction he bought from yesterday. Along the way, he saw many people fishing, more than double the number from yesterday, so the fishing spots were naturally much tighter.

He quickened his pace and walked for a while before reaching his destination.

But he found that many people were already casting lines here, so he had no choice but to keep walking further in.

The path became narrower and narrower, and the surrounding vegetation became denser and denser. The small cart couldn't go any further, so he decided to find a fishing spot right there.

He observed the surrounding environment and found that there were also many rocks here.

But they weren't as big as the ones yesterday. Some curved trees grew between the rocks.

Some trees even grew into the water. Fortunately, the density wasn't very high, otherwise, it wouldn't be suitable for fishing.

He found a small pile of rocks with an open view. This was a relatively good fishing spot, with a wide field of vision, which was helpful for observing the fish situation.
