127: Chapter 127 Ancestor, I Want...

"We only discovered this rift recently and were just about to report it..."

"Is that so?" Lin Mo interrupted him.

"The Blood-Fiend Reincarnation Formation at the edge of the rift doesn't look like it was just set up. Those twelve Myriad Soul Pillars at the core of the Formation couldn't have been refined in a short period, could they?"

The Blood Demon Clan Leader was speechless.

His expression shifted several times before his gaze finally turned ruthless!

"Stop them!"

Twelve clan Elders released their auras simultaneously!

The Blood Demon Great Dao soared into the sky, transforming into twelve hideous blood dragons that sealed off the surrounding starry sky!

More experts from the Blood Demon Clan flew out from their ancestral land, instantly surrounding the members of the Law Enforcement Team!

Yet the expressions of Lin Mo and the others remained unchanged, as if the surrounding encirclement didn't exist.

"Captain Lin," the Blood Demon Clan Leader stared at him, "can we settle this privately? My clan is willing to offer..."

"Attacking the Heavenly Court Law Enforcement Team." Lin Mo didn't even look at the surrounding blood dragons. "That's an additional crime."

He raised his hand, and a golden medallion flew out from his sleeve.

The medallion hung in the starry sky, rotating slowly.

In the next second.

A supreme and ultimate aura descended.

The starry sky froze, the flow of time seemed to slow down, and the Dao laws of all the Blood Demon Clan experts wailed and disintegrated!

The Blood Demon Clan Leader fell to his knees in the void with a thud, his bones creaking throughout his body.

He looked up in horror and saw a blurry figure emerge above the medallion.

Dressed in black robes with black hair, the figure stood with hands behind its back.

It was merely a phantom, not even intentionally releasing any aura.

But the Blood Demon Clan Leader knew who it was: Heavenly Emperor Jiang Hao!

"Heav... Heavenly Emperor..." A broken voice squeezed out of his throat.

The phantom's gaze swept over the rift, over the skeletal remains, and finally landed on him.

With just a single look.

The Blood Demon Clan Leader felt his Great dao foundation shattering inch by inch!

His Bitter Sea dried up, his Dao Palace collapsed, his Four Extremities snapped, and his Immortal Platform cracked!

Thousands of years of bitter cultivation crumbled under that single gaze!

"Ah!" he let out a shrill scream.

The phantom vanished, and the medallion flew back into Lin Mo's palm.

This was why the Law Enforcement Team was invincible; they could summon the Heavenly Emperor, the supreme god in their hearts.

Although it was only a phantom of the Divine Sense left by the Heavenly Emperor, it was enough.

The Heavenly Emperor's Divine Sense phantom was invincible even in today's world.

The starry sky resumed its flow, but all the Blood Demon Clan experts collapsed to the ground, their Dao Hearts completely destroyed.

The cultivation of the Blood Demon Clan Leader and a group of Elders was stripped away, leaving them as mere shells, slumped there coughing up blood.

"Take them," Lin Mo said.

The Law Enforcement Team stepped forward and bound the Blood Demon Clan Leader and the others with specially made chains.

The dao patterns on the chains suppressed their remaining power, preventing them from even self-destructing.

Three days later, the group from the Blood Demon Clan was publicly executed outside the South Heaven Gate.

All principal offenders were beheaded.

Other Blood Demon clansmen were imprisoned in the Star Prison, and seventy percent of the clan's output was confiscated.

The Blood Demon Clan's rift was completely sealed by the Heavenly Court, and a Thirty-six-layered Purification Formation was set up around it, turning it into a Forbidden Ground.

As the news spread, the heavens fell silent.

No clan dared to defy the Heavenly Court's decrees ever again.

Time passed quickly, and another five hundred years went by.

...

Wang Nineteen really liked that Flowing Moon Shuttle.

He had seen it at a Prodigy Exchange Meet, held in the hands of a Cultivator from a minor clan.

The shuttle's body was transparent, with moving shadows of starlight within. When activated, it would trail a long wake of moonlight behind it; it was beautiful.

Although the Wang Family wasn't a top-tier power among the Human Race, it was considered first-rate.

The clan's Old Ancestor was a Quasi-Emperor, and he was the most favored great-great-grandson of the Old Ancestor in this generation of the Wang Family.

He was twelve years old this year, and from childhood until now, there was nothing he wanted that he couldn't get.

As long as he wanted it, a single phrase—"Ancestor, I want it"—would get it for him, even if the item belonged to someone else.

What if others didn't give it? Then it would depend on Young Master Wang's mood.

If he was in a good mood, he'd snatch the item and give them a beating; whether they were killed or injured depended on their luck.

If he was in a bad mood, he'd just kill them outright.

Thus, although Wang Nineteen was only twelve, he already had dozens of lives on his hands.

"Hey, I really like that shuttle. I'll give you a chance to curry favor with me: sell it to me for one Source Stone."

After the exchange meet ended, Wang Nineteen brought two guards to intercept that minor clan Cultivator.

That minor Cultivator was named Qingmu Yan, also of the Human Race and from a small Family.

The strongest member of his entire Family was only at the King Realm.

The Flowing Moon Shuttle was something he had risked his life to obtain from an ancient ruin, intending to give it as a wedding gift to his sister.

"I'm sorry, Young Master Wang, but this isn't for sale." Qingmu Yan bowed and tried to walk around him.

He recognized Wang Nineteen and knew he was a lawless Young Master, not someone he could afford to provoke.

The guard behind Wang Nineteen stepped forward, blocking the path.

"It's giving you Face that my Young Master took an interest in your thing." The guard sneered. "Name a price."

Qingmu Yan gripped the Flowing Moon Shuttle tightly. "It's really not for sale."

Wang Nineteen grew impatient.

He was twelve, at his most arrogant age. Used to running rampant within the Wang Family's sphere of influence and protected by the Old Ancestor's favor, no one dared to provoke him. When had he ever faced such a refusal?

"Refusing a toast only to drink a forfeit." Wang Nineteen reached out to grab it.

Qingmu Yan instinctively retreated, his spiritual energy surging to protect the Flowing Moon Shuttle.

He was in the Four Extremities Realm, and Wang Nineteen was also in the Four Extremities; this collision sent both of them stumbling back.

Wang Nineteen was stunned for a moment, then flew into a rage!

"You dare resist me? Do you know who I am? Do you want to die?"

The two guards behind him were both at the second heaven of the Immortal Platform; seeing this, they immediately attacked.

Qingmu Yan's Family specialized in Wood-element Dao Techniques, focusing on vitality rather than combat. Only at the Four Extremities Realm, Qingmu Yan was completely unable to resist and was struck in the chest by a palm, sent flying while coughing up blood!

The Flowing Moon Shuttle flew out of his hand.

Wang Nineteen caught the shuttle and, without even glancing at Qingmu Yan on the ground, turned and left.

"Young Master..." The guard glanced at Qingmu Yan, who was curled up on the ground with a fading aura. "It seems this person's dao foundation has been destroyed."

"If it's destroyed, it's destroyed. He's just someone from a small Family; he's lucky he's not dead." Wang Nineteen toyed with the Flowing Moon Shuttle, not even looking back.

He was used to doing such things and didn't care at all.

When Qingmu Yan was carried back by his Family, he was already unconscious.

After checking him, the Qingmu Family Head's eyes filled with tears.

Qingmu Yan was a once-in-a-century Genius of the clan; with his dao foundation damaged, his path of cultivation was effectively severed for life.

"The Wang Family... the Wang Family..." The Qingmu Family Head clenched his fists, his nails digging into his flesh.

What was even more infuriating was that when they went to the Wang Family to demand an explanation, they couldn't even get through the door.

The guard at the gate sneered, "A kid in the Four Extremities Realm gets crippled by a light tap from our guard? Is your Qingmu Family made of paper? And you call yourselves fellow humans? You're a disgrace to the Human Race!"

He then told the Qingmu Family to get lost quickly, or he would wipe out the entire Family.

The entire Qingmu Family was filled with grief and indignation.

"As fellow humans, how can the great sects and families oppress their own like this?"

But the Qingmu Family was helpless; the difference in strength was too vast.

Someone suggested reporting it to the Heavenly Court Law Enforcement Team; after all, the Law Enforcement Team acted fairly and had an excellent reputation.

When such a thing happened, they could only think of the Heavenly Court and place their hopes in the Law Enforcement Team.

The Qingmu Family Head thought for a moment and decided to give it a try.

Upon hearing rumors of this, the Wang Family Head felt somewhat uneasy.

He knew well that the Heavenly Court's prestige was growing daily and its laws were strict. Although he didn't think his young son's actions were a big deal, he feared an accident might cause unnecessary trouble.

Thus, while pressuring and threatening the Qingmu Family, he reported the matter to the Wang Family Ancestor, explaining the whole story.

The Wang Family Ancestor was sipping tea in a quiet room. Upon hearing this, instead of becoming angry or scolding, he set down his teacup and beckoned Wang Nineteen, who was standing nearby, to come closer, looking him over affectionately.
