219: Chapter 219 Terrifying Gains and an Amazing Female Powerhouse

Passing through layer after layer of rock crust, the deeper he went, the higher the temperature and the more terrifying the pressure.

An ordinary Cultivator arriving here would likely be instantly crushed to dust and melted into smoke.

But for Jiang Hao, these were no different from a gentle breeze brushing his face.

Finally, Jiang Hao reached the earths core, and there, surprisingly, was a relatively spacious cavern.

The ground of the cavern was not the expected blazing magma, but a kind of dark red crystal.

Glowing moss-like plants grew on the rock walls, emitting an ethereal blue light that illuminated the underground space in a hazy glow.

Right in the center of this space, an ancient ruin was half-buried beneath the crystals and glowing moss.

This was the place where the bronze bell had reacted, and also Jiang Hao's destination.

Jiang Hao waved his hand, and an invisible force swept past, parting the dust and vines to reveal the ruin's true form.

It consisted of several broken giant stone pillars surrounding a circular altar covered in cracks.

The material of the pillars and altar was neither metal nor jade, yet under the ethereal light, it gleamed with a cold, metallic sheen, having endured countless ages and still remaining.

Most striking was the relatively intact section of rock wall behind the altar, carved with a series of damaged murals.

The mural style was rough yet vivid, depicting unimaginably fierce battles.

Stars shattered like grains of sand, as towering figures held divine weapons, striking across the starry sky.

There were also grotesque gods and demons shrouded in shadows falling like rain, their corpses piling into mountains, their blood staining the Milky Way.

The desolation, tragedy, and desperate resolve emanating from the scenes seemed almost ready to leap from the wall.

"Again, the aura of the Chaotic Ancient Era..."

Jiang Hao carefully examined the murals, his brow slightly furrowed.

The style of these murals and the lingering dao rhyme were somewhat similar to those of the Chaotic Ancient Heavenly Court ruins he had discovered before, yet also somewhat different.

There was no trace of the Ancient Chaos Heavenly Emperor's aura here; these were marks left by another powerful being, matching the aura from the grand formation outside.

Clearly, it was the work of the same individual.

This powerful being was extremely formidable. Comparing the residual aura here with that of the Ancient Chaos Heavenly Emperor from the previous ruins,

Jiang Hao found that this being was not inferior in the slightest!

"Who is this powerful being? Could there really have been someone this powerful in the Chaotic Ancient Era besides the Heavenly Emperor? If so, why are there no related legends in history?"

Everything here made Jiang Hao somewhat suspect that this unremarkable planet, and even this solar system-like star cluster,

had some connection with that mysterious and powerful being in the immeasurably distant past.

"But how could the Chaotic Ancient Era be connected to the solar system of my previous life? What unknown past lies within the Chaotic Ancient Era, or even more ancient times?"

Jiang Hao was puzzled, trying to glean more information from the incomplete murals, but they were too ancient, with many crucial parts blurred and indistinguishable.

Just as he was concentrating on his observation, deep within his Bitter Sea, the long-dormant bronze bell gently trembled once more.

"Hmm?"

Jiang Hao focused his mind.

An almost imperceptible beam of light silently shot from the bell's body, shining upon a seemingly ordinary area at the center of the altar.

*Hum*.

The originally dim cracks on the altar's surface suddenly lit up with a faint glow.

The light flowed like a living thing, then began to converge, finally intertwining at the altar's center to form a line of extremely ancient, incredibly complex, and mysterious runes.

These runes were not any known script of this world. Their forms subtly shifted continuously, as if expounding the ultimate principles of the Great Dao.

Jiang Hao's gaze fell upon that line of runes, and his eyes suddenly widened.

He recognized the content recorded by these runes!

This was precisely the subsequent chapter of that incomplete, yet terrifyingly high-level mysterious Cultivation Technique he had obtained from the Chaotic Ancient Heavenly Court ruins!

Even as a mere fragment, that technique had greatly benefited Jiang Hao, inspiring many of his ideas.

Since then, he had been quietly searching and deducing, trying to complete it, but had found no leads.

He never expected to find it here, in the depths of this Earth-like planet's core, and in such a manner!

Moreover, besides the mysterious technique, there was also an incredibly powerful secret art!

A secret art that surpassed Jiang Hao's current imagination. He was certain it was an art that transcended the Immortal Realm!

Because just a simple glance allowed Jiang Hao to sense the terrifying nature of this art!

"Who created this secret art? Could it be the mysterious powerful being who set up the grand formation?"

Jiang Hao felt it was very likely this mysterious being.

"Indeed, every time the bronze bell actively guides me, it's extraordinary!" A rare surge of excitement welled up in Jiang Hao's heart.

At his level, there were very few things that could cause such fluctuations in his state of mind.

Clearly, this mysterious place and these mysterious techniques and arts were the things that stirred waves within him.

Jiang Hao hesitated no longer. He immediately sat cross-legged before the altar, immersing his mind completely into the flowing line of runes.

This period of comprehension lasted a hundred years.

After the glowing moss in the cavern had completed several cycles of brightening and dimming, Jiang Hao slowly opened his eyes.

The divine light that occasionally swirled in his eyes was now completely restrained, becoming like the deepest night sky, vast and boundless.

The aura around his body also seemed to have settled, becoming even more unfathomable.

Only upon careful sensing could one detect the even more immense power surging beneath that calm surface.

"Such profound scriptures..." Jiang Hao sighed softly, a lingering sense of savoring still in his eyes.

This subsequent Cultivation Technique differed significantly in its specific path from the popular Secret Realm Method of the current era; many of its concepts even seemed peculiar.

But in the cultivation of the Great Dao, all paths ultimately lead to the same destination. These scriptures pointed directly to the Origin of the Great Dao, expounding its most fundamental principles.

They would be of great assistance to his future cultivation.

"The harvest is immense." Jiang Hao stood up. The line of runes had slowly dissipated as the inheritance concluded.

"This trip was more than worth it."

Although he had not yet undergone his fifth life's metamorphosis, his strength had already increased significantly, not much less than undergoing one metamorphosis.

Moreover, he could continue to grow stronger afterward. This was truly rare.

Jiang Hao did not leave immediately but continued to explore this core ruin.

On the side of the mural-covered rock wall behind the altar, he discovered another hidden set of markings.

It resembled a blurred image imprinted with supreme magical power.

In the image was a woman of unparalleled elegance and grace.

Surrounded by thousands of shimmering, willow-branch-like emerald beams of light, she was locked in fierce combat with several terrifying enemies.

With each sweep of the emerald beams, the starry sky was pierced. Even more astonishing, within the illusory leaves drifting from each beam,

there seemed to be faint glimpses of countless living beings chanting scriptures and divine kingdoms swirling.

The strength of this mysterious powerhouse was so great that even Jiang Hao, merely viewing it through the image, felt a faint sense of palpitation.

"What a terrifying powerhouse!"

"What kind of era was the Chaotic Ancient Era? Against what kind of enemies were such powerhouses fighting?"

Jiang Hao gazed at the image, which still retained a trace of its awe-inspiring aura despite the endless passage of time, his thoughts churning within.
