1: Chapter 1 Alien Spaceship

“Ah! Where is this? Didn't I fall to my death after jumping off a cliff? Is this the underworld?”

Chen Yu slowly opened his eyes, the surroundings so bright and unfamiliar.

After a while, Chen Yu, whose thoughts were becoming clearer, propped himself up and looked around.

This was a room full of futuristic technology, and he was currently lying on a white, bed-like object.

“You finally woke up, Chen Yu.”

A voice like that of a robot sounded above Chen Yu's head.

He subconsciously looked up at the ceiling, and it startled Chen Yu.

On the ceiling, a square machine with a blue light was hanging, somewhat resembling the Moss robot from The Wandering Earth.

“You... what are you? How do you know my name?” Chen Yu shouted at the machine on the ceiling.

The machine's voice sounded again.

“The place you are currently in is an exploration spaceship from a higher civilization outside the Galaxy. I am the smart control system of this spaceship; you can call me Smart Brain.”

“Your name and your language were obtained by me scanning a device on you called a mobile phone and connecting to your Earth's network.”

“Then where are the aliens on this spaceship?”

“They have already left. Currently, you are the only intelligent life form on this spaceship.”

Chen Yu nodded.

“Oh, right, didn't I jump off a cliff to commit suicide? Why is my body perfectly fine now?”

“When I found you, you had dozens of fractures throughout your body and severe internal organ damage. According to your Earth's medical judgment, you were already dead at that time, but I saved you.”

Chen Yu remembered that before, due to dissatisfaction with life, he had walked to this desolate place and chosen to jump off a cliff to commit suicide.

However, this main vessel fell out of warp space and accidentally landed near Earth, crashing after being captured by Earth's gravity.

When those aliens left, they issued one last command to the Smart Brain.

As long as an intelligent life form meeting the standard approached, it could become the captain of this exploration vessel and gain certain command authorities over the spaceship.

These authorities included flight permission, low-level scientific technology from the warship's tech library, and the spaceship's ordinary conventional weapon systems.

After listening to the smart brain robot's explanation, Chen Yu basically understood what was going on. He had essentially stumbled upon a treasure.

This was an alien spaceship. Even obtaining the lowest level of authority would probably instantly surpass any Earth aircraft!

“Hey, robot, since I meet the conditions, I'll be the captain of this spaceship first.”

After passing through several hatches with the robot, they arrived at the main control room located at the very top of the spaceship.

The interior was very futuristic, clearly different from the spaceships in movies.

The front of the main control room was pitch black. Chen Yu thought this should be a huge glass pane.

As for why it was dark when looking out, it was because the spaceship was buried underground.

Through the lights in the main control room, he could see the soil and rubble outside the glass.

In the very center of the main control room was something resembling a seat. Chen Yu approached and was sure it was a seat, with a rather peculiar design.

However, this seat was larger than a normal human seat, indicating that the aliens' bodies should be larger than humans'.

The originally rather loose and large seat suddenly became like modeling clay.

It adjusted itself according to his body shape, fitting perfectly now, as if custom-made for Chen Yu.

“Please relax. I will begin the docking procedure immediately.”

Chen Yu seemed very relaxed; it was just a docking procedure, after all.

At most, it would scan his face, iris, fingerprints, and so on!

Chen Yu did as instructed, even straightening his face. He thought a beam of light would appear to scan his face.

Unexpectedly, no beam appeared in front. Instead, several snake-like tentacles slowly extended from behind the seat's backrest.

These tentacles were robotic arms, extremely flexible. Earth simply didn't have this technology.

When the robotic arms touched Chen Yu, an invisible electric current was released.

Chen Yu's entire body became rigid, and then the tentacles began to pierce into the back of Chen Yu's neck.
