2: Chapter 2 Becoming a Captain

Chen Yu sat blankly in his chair, tentacles like snakes from the back of his head burrowing into his skin, busily working on something.

“Link successful, implanting brainwave enhancement program.”

“1%… 2%… 3%…”

“Brainwave enhancement program implanted 100%.”

“Extracting spaceship owner biological identification information, extraction successful.”

“Implanting Ami-grade self-repairing robots, implantation successful.”

“Implanting Humanoid Biological Energy Supply and Maintenance System, implantation successful.”

After the smart brain robot announced a series of successes, the mechanical tentacles on the back of Chen Yu’s head slowly retracted.

The skin on the back of Chen Yu’s head, which had been cut open by the tentacles, was healing at an astonishing speed.

“Alright then, how do I activate the main flight program?”

“Received flight command. Initiating conventional power propulsion engine. Initiating…”

After the smart brain robot issued the command, Chen Yu felt the entire spaceship vibrate slightly.

Presumably, the conventional power thrusters were starting up.

“Captain, conventional power engine successfully started. Ready for takeoff at any time.”

“Take off!”

Chen Yu felt the entire spaceship begin to tremble slightly, seemingly moving slowly upwards.

The spaceship’s exterior resembled the millennium falcon from the movie Star Wars.

However, it was much larger than the millennium falcon. The data displayed on the screen was all in Chinese, which Chen Yu could understand.

Chen Yu saw the spaceship’s dimensions: 1200 meters long, 800 meters wide, and 300 meters high.

This was definitely an aerial behemoth. Its volume was at least 140 times that of the largest aircraft carrier on Earth.

If this colossal object flew in the sky and was seen by humans, they would probably be scared to death.

Looking out from the main control room’s huge glass, the spaceship was covered in dirt and rocks, looking as if it had just emerged from a junkyard.
