56: Chapter 56 Starry Sky Group Headquarters

"Hello."

Li Zhengyang looked at Fang Zhuo, nodded politely, and extended his hand in a very gentlemanly manner.

Fang Zhuo shook hands with Li Zhengyang and said, "Thank you for your help in the past, Li."

He wasn't very fond of Li Zhengyang.

However, Fang Zhuo's expression of gratitude was not false; he was genuinely thankful, as if it weren't for this person having lent money to Bai Shiwei in the past.

Perhaps Bai Shiwei would have been forced to give up Martial Arts, and would not have made it to the later blind date, thus never ending up with him.

"You're too polite. Bai Shiwei and I were good friends, and as for you..."

Li Zhengyang hadn't finished his sentence.

Bai Shiwei interrupted, "Li Zhengyang, I wouldn't call us good friends. Also, please move aside."

Li Zhengyang's expression darkened, but he suppressed his dissatisfaction and stepped aside.

He watched as Bai Shiwei pulled Fang Zhuo toward the statue, his expression grim and uncertain. "Bai Shiwei... I didn't expect you to actually awaken a Martial Aspect."

In front of Zhou Feng's statue.

Bai Shiwei had specially bought a prayer lantern nearby, but right now she was being clumsy, unable to unfold it, and was spinning around in a fluster.

"Let me."

Fang Zhuo couldn't help but laugh and took it from Bai Shiwei's hands.

An orange-red flame flared up, and the prayer lantern was released, rising into the sky from above their heads, drifting over Zhou Feng's statue, flying higher and higher.

Bai Shiwei gazed at the lantern, immediately closed her eyes, and muttered something under her breath, though it was unclear what she was saying.

Fang Zhuo just watched quietly; he didn't believe in gods or Buddhas, nor did he dabble in metaphysics.

The concept of "martial luck" was too ethereal...

For a Martial Artist, great power belongs to oneself, and one only cultivates oneself; not seeking help from external sources was the more mainstream philosophy of the Blue Moon Federation's Martial Arts.

On the way down the mountain.

The corners of Bai Shiwei's mouth couldn't stop curling upward, and she stole glances at Fang Zhuo from time to time.

Fang Zhuo asked, "What wish did you make just now?"

Bai Shiwei replied, "I can't say; if I say it, it won't come true!"

"Shall I guess?"

"Sure, go ahead and guess."

"That we both become Flying Martial Artists, have two big, chubby boys, then watch them get married and have children, and then watch our grandsons and granddaughters get married and start their own families."

"Who wants to have chubby boys with you!"

Bai Shiwei blushed, but the smile in her peach-blossom eyes grew even wider.

Fang Zhuo knew he had guessed correctly.

After a while, Bai Shiwei blinked her beautiful eyes and asked, "Hubby, how did you guess it?"

"Didn't you say on the way up the mountain that you were going to make a wish for us to both become Flying Martial Artists?" Fang Zhuo looked at Bai Shiwei with a chuckle.

"As for having big, chubby boys, you said that while talking in your sleep at night."

"Impossible!"

Bai Shiwei refused to admit it and strode ahead with a cheerful gait, her hair and skirt dancing in the air.

The two went down the mountain, and at Bai Shiwei's request, spent an entire day shopping in the commercial district, only returning home late at night.

At night, the young couple who had been married for less than a month, facing imminent separation, were even more frantic in their desire for each other.

...

The next day.

September 9th, 2582, Old Calendar.

Fang Zhuo was about to head to the Starry Sky Martial Artist Group headquarters, and Bai Shiwei also had to return to school to report; the Martial Arts Undergraduate program was a four-year course, and today marked the start of her senior year.

At the entrance of the Gardener Residential Complex.

A small aircraft was already hovering at a low altitude, waiting. A star map was pasted on the cabin door, and the two characters "Starry Sky" were engraved on the front of the cabin.

This was the Starry Sky Group's exclusive aircraft.

"Fang Zhuo, are you ready?"

Manager Tang Lan quipped from the lawn, "In this hot weather, if you keep hugging, your wife is going to melt...!"

S-Class Geniuses all had dedicated personnel assigned to help newcomers familiarize themselves with the Starry Sky Group; this was a good job, and the reason was simple.

In the Starry Sky Martial Artist Group, every S-Class Genius was guaranteed to become a Transcendent Martial Artist in the future.

An opportunity to build a connection with a future Transcendent Martial Artist like this was something everyone scrambled for.

As one of the introducers, Manager Tang Lan naturally had the prime advantage.

Upon hearing this, Bai Shiwei pulled away, blushing as she looked at Fang Zhuo, her beautiful eyes filled with reluctance: "Hubby, when you go to the Starry Sky Group, don't keep me waiting for too long~"

"Don't worry, it won't be too long." Fang Zhuo nodded.

This was their agreement; Fang Zhuo had promised Bai Shiwei that once he broke through to become an Advanced Martial Artist, he would let Bai Shiwei come to Origin Star for adventures as well.

"When you get to school, do as I said; you can start by training your Body Control and strive to break through to Micro-Perception."

"Mhm!"

Bai Shiwei nodded and waved at Fang Zhuo.

Fang Zhuo hesitated no longer; he stepped out, leaped high into the air, and landed on the aircraft hovering at low altitude.

"Let's go!"

Manager Tang Lan followed closely behind.

The cabin door closed rapidly, and the aircraft spewed blue exhaust flames, instantly vanishing into the sky above Jinhe City.

...

Origin Star.

After the aircraft approached, Fang Zhuo looked down from high altitude and saw an endless wilderness, filled with countless plants he couldn't name.

From time to time, exotic beasts could be seen running about.

In the distance, a steel behemoth loomed faintly.

"Ten more kilometers ahead, and that will be the Starry Sky Base City where our Starry Sky Group headquarters is located!" Manager Tang Lan was also somewhat excited.

"Manager Tang, is this your first time here?" Fang Zhuo asked in surprise.

"Thanks to you."

Manager Tang Lan looked out the window and said, "Although I am an Advanced Martial Artist, I have hemophobia and cannot adapt to actual combat, so I can only stay in the rear... I have been to Origin Star, but this is my first time at the headquarters."

"Too many people want to come to the Starry Sky Martial Artist Group, but ordinary people don't even have the chance to get close."

...

In the center of Starry Sky Base City.

The aircraft landed slowly on the tarmac in front of a skyscraper, the cabin door opened, and Manager Tang Lan and Fang Zhuo jumped down one after another.

"Starry Sky Martial Artist Group!"

Manager Tang Lan took a deep breath, looking forward with glowing spirits.

Directly in front of the building stood a stone tablet, with a sword cast on top of it. Two lines of bold, sweeping calligraphy were engraved on the tablet:

"Forging swords for humanity, sharpening swords for civilization, and building a Great Wall for the Federation!"

Fang Zhuo stood quietly to the side, feeling inexplicably awestruck.

Ahead was a straight, wide road. Fang Zhuo was surprised to discover that a distance which looked like only a few dozen meters actually took a full five minutes to walk!

"Curious?"

Manager Tang Lan asked with a smile from the side.

"..." Fang Zhuo didn't speak, thinking to himself, aren't you here for the first time too? Why act like a know-it-all...!

"Haha." Manager Tang Lan read the meaning in Fang Zhuo's eyes and explained, "Although it's my first time here, I am an employee of a martial arts gym under the group; just because I haven't been here doesn't mean I haven't heard of it."

"The location of the headquarters building used to be wilderness. Our group's founder once fought a Beast Emperor here, causing the space within a one-kilometer radius to become distorted, which is why what the naked eye sees differs from reality."

"Is that so..."

Fang Zhuo's eyes narrowed slightly.

The founder of the Starry Sky Martial Artist Group was also the Blue Moon Federation's first Cosmic Martial Artist! To fight a Beast Emperor and actually be able to distort space...

Such a martial artist was simply superhuman!

Inside the building's lobby, it was different from what Fang Zhuo had imagined; there wasn't a sea of people like at the Shanhe and Tengfei martial arts gyms.

Only one or two martial artists came and went occasionally.

But all of them were full of energy with reserved temperaments. Based on Fang Zhuo's estimation, they were all at least level 35 Advanced Martial Artists, and there were even some Transcendent Martial Artists with heavy auras of life.
