245: Finally, I saw the higher dimensions.

The magic bottle floated silently; the warm luster of its surface reflected the boundless, deathly silent silver continent below, as well as the colossal monument before it that reached the heavens, engraved with the cruel truth.

The inscription "Civilization Self-Destruction Rate 100%" on the monument was like an ice pick of final judgment, piercing through the meaning of the past and reducing all glory and struggle to cold, experimental data.

Inside the walls of the bottle, billions of light pulses—names condensed from the final energy of the civilization—flowed quietly; their speed seemed to lag due to the impact of this ultimate truth, and their radiance appeared slightly dimmed.

An indescribable sense of confusion and void, belonging to the entire civilization, permeated through this final carrier.

However, amidst this absolute deathly silence and ruin, the magic bottle’s own perception—originating from the essence of the "magic bottle" and transcending logic—began to slowly awaken and expand.

It was no longer merely a container carrying a civilization, but more like a cold Observer that had opened its eyes.

Its "gaze" swept over the mirror-smooth silver land below; those complex and precise geometric patterns and light paths, though mostly dimmed, still retained a haunting, trans-era technical beauty and traces of absolute rationality.

They were not natural creations, but the most thorough and cold application and modification of the laws of the Universe after some form of intelligence (if that could even be called intelligence) had developed to its extreme.

Its "perception" swept over those distant, broken, and strange structures that were as massive as mountain ranges.

These were not simple architectural ruins, but rather parts of immensely huge, non-functioning precision instruments.

Some resembled engine bases capable of tearing apart stars, others resembled the cores of hyper-dimensional calculation arrays used to compute the constants of the Universe, and some resembled... the interfaces of culture tanks for some massive life experiment...

All signs indicated that a civilization had once existed here, one whose technology (or some power beyond technology) had developed to an unimaginably high level.

They had shaped this continent, turning their world into an absolutely controllable, cold experimental field—or perhaps, a factory.

But today, there was only ruin here.

A deathly silence reigned over everything.

There were no corpses, no traces of struggle, and no scars of war.

There was only a sense of... a sudden, complete, and synchronized cessation, as if something had run to its absolute limit.

The magic bottle slowly drifted away from the colossal monument, "swimming" toward the deeper reaches of this silver continent.

It glided past massive, fractured pipelines with diameters wide enough to contain rivers; it passed through crystal clusters standing like a forest with their tops snapped off, within which some unfinished energy transition seemed to be frozen; it hovered above a bottomless, perfectly smooth-edged circular crater, as if something had been extracted from it with extreme precision...

The deeper it ventured, the more suffocating that sense of extreme, inhuman order and emptiness became.

There was no art here, no emotion, no traces of individual existence—only an absolute pursuit of efficiency and function, cold to the bone.

Finally, after crossing another plain filled with orderly trenches—as if it had been plowed by a giant plowshare—the magic bottle’s "gaze" caught a completely different scene in the distance.

It was an immensely vast depression, its scale far exceeding any structure seen previously.

And in the center of this depression, there were piles of... ruins.

These were not the ruins of buildings, but the far more haunting ruins of creations.

Countless silver-gray, twisted, and fractured giant metal hands, like trash discarded at random, were piled into twisted mountains that shimmered with a cold luster!

They varied in size—the small ones only a hundred zhang, while the large ones were comparable to planets—but all bore that familiar, repulsive silver-gray hue and cold texture; they were of the same origin and substance as the one that had once hunted the ark and crushed the stars of the Spirit Realm!

Most of these giant hands were dilapidated; some were torn asunder, revealing the immensely complex, burned, and collapsed precision structures within; some had knuckles twisted at impossible angles, as if they had endured unimaginable, agonizing struggles in their final moments; others were covered in massive cracks that were not caused by external forces, but appeared to be the result of their own internal logic conflicts exploding...

Interspersed among the ruins of these giant metal hands were other, even more bizarre fragments of mechanical creations that also exuded a cold, high-tech aura: massive, eyeball-like monitors with shattered, dimmed lenses; countless tiny, metal-locust-like repair or construction units that carpeted the ground, having lost all vitality; and fragments of even more massive instruments, resembling parts of the "World Engine," which silently told of their former majesty and current ruin.

This was a slaughterhouse.

A slaughterhouse belonging to the "shepherd."

The magic bottle hovered silently above this massive graveyard.

Inside the walls of the bottle, those billions of civilization light pulses began to flicker violently once more, but this time, it was not out of confusion, but a form of extreme shock and realization.

They saw it.

They saw that arrogant Dominator of the experiment, which had viewed them as mere ants—that cold metal giant hand—its true form... had actually long since become a part of these boundless ruins!

They were not the ultimate "Heaven."

Perhaps there were even higher-level existences above them?

Or perhaps, they had ultimately... been destroyed by some unsolvable, ultimate paradox brought about by their own absolute rationality?

Much like how the logic bomb had once severely damaged one of the giant hands?

"Civilization Self-Destruction Rate 100%."

This inscription, looking at it now, perhaps did not solely refer to the civilization in the experimental field being observed.

Perhaps... it was equally applicable to these "Observers" themselves?

Had they, too, fallen into some inescapable "Reincarnation of experimentation"?

Had they, too, ultimately reached the conclusion of "Self-Destruction Rate 100%" in some higher-level "test"?

The magic bottle slowly descended, its base gently touching a relatively flat surface covered in fine metal dust.

It stood silently amidst the ruins of this Advanced civilization, standing among the remains of the former "shepherds."

The light on the surface of the bottle stabilized, no longer flickering, and instead radiated a profound, unprecedented sense of calm.

It had witnessed the grave of the Creator, witnessed the end of the pursuers, and witnessed the void of all meaning.

The pain, struggle, glory, and self-termination experienced by the civilization it carried seemed to become insignificant before these grand ruins, yet because of this insignificance, they revealed a unique... reality and preciousness.

Because they had truly "existed" and truly "chosen."

But this cold, silver ruin held nothing but silence.

The magic bottle remained silent.

On the walls of the bottle, billions of names flickered quietly, as if in mourning, and as if in questioning.

Finally seeing the higher dimension, what it saw was a deathly silent void.

Yet within this void, that bottle carrying a lost civilization became the only living existence.
