83: The miracle doctor has a preference for Longyang?

The young man was Chen Hao.

Two and a half days ago, after tidying up the eighteen marriage contracts the old man had prepared for him, Chen Hao brought all his worldly possessions, a total of 888.8 yuan, and descended the mountain.

Chen Hao was also a local of Linjiang City; his parents died young, and he was raised by his grandmother from a young age.

After graduating from junior high, his grandmother passed away. Chen Hao was originally going to drop out of school to work, but by chance, he was noticed by Jue Jue Zi, who had come down the mountain to travel the world.

His parents sacrificed themselves to the heavens, his bones were extraordinary, luck was with him, and his talent was exceptional.

Jue Jue Zi immediately saw Chen Hao's extraordinary qualities and directly took him as his closed-door disciple, bringing him back to Baiyun Mountain to teach and raise him.

Spring came and went, and ten years passed in a flash.

Three years ago, Jue Jue Zi passed away peacefully, and Chen Hao, as per their agreement, was to guard the old man's tomb for three years.

At the last minute, Chen Hao discovered the eighteen bizarre marriage contracts the old man had prepared for him and was instantly enraged, which led him to return to Linjiang City three days early.

He had spent a full ten years in a secluded and tranquil place like Baiyun Mountain.

Chen Hao usually only had his five fingers for company; even the stray dogs in the village at the foot of the mountain looked delicate and pretty to him. How could he have ever seen such a grand spectacle?

It was the scorching summer, and the girls' clothing was already very cool. Those fair, long legs almost blinded Chen Hao's dog eyes!

“Tsk tsk, these legs, this waist, these hips…”

“Tsk tsk, truly a top-grade specimen!”

“Life down the mountain is good!”

“Old man, you really made me suffer!”

Chen Hao's eyes constantly scrutinized his surroundings, his eyes gleaming, secretly swallowing his saliva.

If he had known earlier that the girls down the mountain were of such high quality, he would have come down three years ago. Why would he guard a damn tomb!

Chen Hao's life on Baiyun Mountain was basically that of a free and unrestrained hermit, a secluded paradise, accompanied only by two large yellow dogs.

There was no internet deep in the mountains; his phone was still a ten-year-old Nokia, and only when he occasionally went down the mountain to the internet cafe in town could Chen Hao access the outside world through the internet.

Jue Jue Zi's medical skills were exceptionally profound; he was a person of noble character, saving countless lives throughout his life, including many high-ranking officials, wealthy merchants, and those with immense wealth. He left Chen Hao a bank card with a deposit of one billion yuan, placed together with the complete version of the Ghost Gate Thirteen Needles.

If Chen Hao had fulfilled the agreement and dutifully guarded the tomb for three years, waiting for the tomb's mechanisms to open automatically, he would naturally have received the medical inheritance and one billion in cash flow, from then on dominating the flower capital, lingering among the flowers, embracing women left and right, and enjoying the blessings of having multiple wives.

Unfortunately, one wrong step led to many wrong steps, and now Chen Hao would never have this opportunity.

………………

Mu Feng's eyes scanned back and forth in the direction of the exit, and he quickly noticed Chen Hao, who was looking around not far away.

Ripped jeans, old Beijing cloth shoes, a tattered canvas bag, a patched short-sleeved shirt, ordinary appearance, bronze skin…

This appearance and attire, wasn't it exactly like a protagonist?

Even after ten years of not seeing each other, Mu Feng recognized Chen Hao immediately.

After sorting out the various complex thoughts in his mind, Mu Feng quickly walked towards Chen Hao.

“Hao Ge!”

Hearing what seemed to be someone calling his name, Chen Hao frowned and instinctively looked in the direction of the voice.

In his line of sight, a person wearing a mask and sunglasses, dressed suspiciously, was walking towards him.

“You are?”

Chen Hao's expression was strange; he couldn't figure out who this person who suddenly appeared in front of him was.

“Hao Ge, I’m Mu Feng!”

“Two days ago, didn’t you call me to pick you up at the train station?”

Mu Feng gave Chen Hao a big hug, naturally hooked his arm over Chen Hao's shoulder, and spoke casually, without any sense of unfamiliarity or awkwardness, completely like a close brother.

“So it’s you, Feng Di!”

A look of realization appeared on Chen Hao's face, and his mood also became a little excited. He returned Mu Feng a big hug with his other arm.

During these ten years on the mountain, Chen Hao would occasionally go down the mountain and contact Mu Feng through Nokia's QQ, and they often chatted online when they had nothing to do.

Therefore, Chen Hao didn't feel much unfamiliarity when facing Mu Feng at this moment, and didn't think there was anything wrong with hugging Mu Feng like this.

Chen Hao didn't think anything of it, but passersby didn't see it that way.

Seeing two grown men hugging each other in broad daylight, in full view of everyone, passersby began to point and whisper, quietly stepping back and moving a little further away from the two.

Mu Feng naturally heard the various disgusting comments around him, and his scalp tingled with embarrassment. He quickly broke free from Chen Hao's embrace, led him away from the station square, and got into his luxury car.

Sitting in the back seat of the Bentley, and signaling the bodyguard to drive away, Mu Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly took off his sunglasses and mask.

“Hao Ge, you haven't returned to Linjiang City in ten years.”

“Linjiang has undergone tremendous changes over the years. Today, let me, your brother, host a welcoming feast for you!”

Mu Feng showed a sincere smile, patted his chest, and spoke with great generosity, looking like he had money to spare, but in reality, he was secretly on guard, feeling a little creeped out.

Damn it, why was Chen Hao, that idiotic protagonist, constantly staring at him?

Could this guy be a master full of philosophical insights, with some special fetish?

But there was no such description in the original plot!

“Then thank you, brother!”

Chen Hao didn't stand on ceremony with Mu Feng, smiling and nodding in agreement, retracting his scrutinizing gaze.

He didn't have any special fetishes as Mu Feng thought; he was just observing his good brother's facial features, wanting to see how his health was, nothing more.

With master-level ancient medical skills, Chen Hao's medical proficiency was no lower, and often higher, than that of some elderly Chinese medicine practitioners. Simply by observing a person's facial features, he could discern many things.

“By the way, brother, where is your girlfriend of seven years?”

“Why didn't she come with you?”

After some small talk, Chen Hao seemed to remember something and asked with interest.

“Hehe…”

“She and I have already broken up…”

Mu Feng's smile stiffened, a series of unpleasant memories flashed quickly through his mind, his face constantly changing, and he spoke in a slightly hoarse voice.

A girlfriend of seven years?

These were all details the foolish Licking dog (lick-dog) predecessor had told Chen Hao; the truth was not like that.

“Broke up?”

“That’s really a pity…”

Chen Hao was stunned, shook his head gently, feeling sorry for his good brother.

When he chatted with Mu Feng on Baiyun Mountain, even through the pitch-black screen of the Nokia, just by text description, Chen Hao could feel Mu Feng's affection for this girlfriend.

A seven-year love marathon ultimately ended in separation, and Chen Hao naturally felt a bit regretful.

“It’s just a woman; out with the old, in with the new. There’s nothing to regret!”

“Hao Ge, I’ll get you a new outfit first, and tonight I’ll take you to a good place to broaden your horizons!”

Mu Feng waved his hand indifferently and said so.

Chen Hao liked to highlight himself by dressing like a beggar, playing the pig to eat the tiger, showing off and slapping faces, but Mu Feng didn't have such a hobby.

Bringing Chen Hao along, he naturally had to get him a new outfit.
