203: Chapter 203 Highway Ambush and Crushing Strike

"Screech—!!!"

The ear-piercing sound of brakes tore through the silence of the national highway.

The black land rover range rover came to a steady stop in an extremely precarious manner just under five meters from the roadblock ahead. The four tires left deep black marks on the asphalt, and the pungent smell of burnt rubber instantly filled the air.

Ahead, five heavy dump trucks fully loaded with sand and gravel stood like five small steel mountains. Connected end to end, they arrogantly blocked the four-lane two-way road completely.

The doors opened, and over a dozen thuggish youths jumped down from the dump truck cabs and the rear.

Every one of them was shirtless, revealing low-quality tattoos. They held gleaming machetes and cold-glinting steel pipes and baseball bats, with cigarettes dangling from their mouths and playful, predatory looks in their eyes.

Leading them was a youth with eye-catchingly dyed yellow hair. His name was Huang San, one of the peripheral thug leaders working under the Zhou Family's eldest young master, Zhou Tianhao.

Just half an hour ago, he had received a direct order from Young Master Zhou.

"A black Land Rover, license plate XXXXX. Smash it into scrap metal for me, break the legs of that country bumpkin named Wang Fugui, and throw him into a ditch. There are also two chicks in the car; take them and have some fun with the brothers."

Huang San spat out his cigarette butt and ground it with his toe. He looked the expensive Land Rover up and down, his eyes filled with greed and a desire for destruction.

Carrying a steel pipe as thick as an arm, he sauntered forward.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

The steel pipe struck the bulletproof window of the passenger seat with heavy, rhythmic thuds.

"Motherfucker, you ungrateful hillbilly, you actually dared to chase us to the provincial capital?" Huang San pressed his face close to the black window. Though he couldn't see inside clearly, his tone was incredibly arrogant. "You two little sluts in the car, get the hell out! Serve the brothers well, and we might spare your lives today!"

The lackeys behind him burst into laughter, their foul language incessant.

Inside the car, Chen Yun's beautiful face was now as cold as frost. She glanced at the back seat; the man remained silent.

But she could feel that the already hot air inside the car was beginning a terrifying climb in temperature once again.

Scorpion's knuckles were white from gripping the steering wheel, and every muscle in his body was tensed to the limit.

"Fugui..." Chen Yun was about to speak.

"Bang!!!"

A terrifying boom rang out, sounding less like a door opening and more like a shell being fired from a cannon.

The heavy rear door of the land rover range rover was kicked flying from the inside out by an irresistible force. The door tumbled through the air with a whistling wind, crashing into the green belt over a dozen meters away like a giant iron disc, snapping several shrubs cleanly.

Huang San's shouting came to an abrupt halt.

Everyone's eyes were fixed intently on the wide-open car door.

Wang Fugui stepped out of the car with a blank expression, stooping low.

He was shirtless, his bronze skin gleaming with a metallic luster in the morning light. His bulging muscles were clearly defined, like a Greek sculpture, brimming with an explosive sense of power.

On his right shoulder, he carried that thick, solid steel pipe.

Large chunks of concrete were still stuck to the bottom of the pipe. As he moved, pieces of stone would occasionally fall with a "patter."

He looked like a silent god of war emerging from hell.

Huang San was stunned.

The group of lackeys behind him was also stunned.

What the hell is this look? Is this a movie? Coming to a fight carrying a utility pole?

A sense of absurd mockery rose in Huang San's heart, and he was just about to open his mouth to sneer.

Wang Fugui moved.

No run-up, no roar.

He simply twisted his waist and rotated his hips, swinging the two-hundred-plus-pound solid steel pipe on his right shoulder with one hand as if it were a piece of straw.

"Whirr—"

The heavy steel pipe sliced through the air, actually creating a terrifying sonic boom similar to a jet plane flying low!

The air was compressed and torn apart, emitting a tooth-aching shriek.

Huang San's pupils shrank to the size of pinheads in that instant. The mockery on his face froze, replaced by an unspeakable fear originating from the depths of his soul.

The steel pipe enlarged rapidly in his vision.

He wanted to dodge, but his body felt as if it were filled with lead, unable to move at all.

No, the target of the steel pipe wasn't him.

It was... the dump truck behind him!

"Boom!!!"

A deafening roar erupted, so loud it seemed ready to tear eardrums apart.

The solid steel pipe, weighing over two hundred pounds, slammed squarely into the center of the lead dump truck's front end.

Time seemed to stand still for a moment.

The next second.

The heavy truck front, made of high-strength alloy and capable of smashing through walls, buckled and imploded instantly like a cardboard box hit by a battering ram!

The entire engine compartment was smashed into scrap metal in an instant. The sturdy engine block shattered directly, sparks flying everywhere. Antifreeze, oil, and washer fluid mixed with billowing black smoke, gushing out frantically.

The multi-ton truck front dipped sharply from the impact. Both front tires exploded with a "bang," and the entire chassis let out an overburdened groan.

The entire scene fell deathly silent.

The machetes and steel pipes in the hands of all the lackeys fell to the ground with a series of clangs.

Their mouths hung wide open, eyes bulging as if they were about to fall out of their sockets, and their bodies shook like sieves.

Their hearts and galls were split in terror.

Their scalps tingled with numbness.

This... is this the kind of power a human can possess?

That is a heavy dump truck! Not a toy model!

Is this country bumpkin a humanoid monster?!

Wang Fugui pulled back the steel pipe and shouldered it again.

He looked with disgust at the smoking, totaled dump truck, seemingly feeling it wasn't enough of a hindrance yet.

Then, he began to walk toward the group of terrified lackeys.

He didn't use any techniques.

It was just the simplest, purest basic attack.

Like an unstoppable heavy tank, he waded directly into the crowd.

A lackey stood in his way, not even having time to scream.

Wang Fugui casually swiped with his left hand.

"Bang!"

The man, weighing around 160 or 170 pounds, was sent flying seven or eight meters like a kicked rag doll. He crashed through the guardrail of the highway and rolled into the drainage ditch below, his fate unknown.

He continued forward.

His arms swung.

Every seemingly casual swing was accompanied by the crack of breaking bones and the dull thud of bodies flying.

Five or six burly men were sent flying by a single shoulder barge, rolling into a heap on the ground.

No screams, no struggling.

Because most of them were knocked unconscious the moment they were hit by that terrifying impact.

In less than thirty seconds.

The dozen or so Zhou Family thugs who had been so arrogant moments ago were now lying scattered all over the ground.

On the highway, a path paved with flesh and blood had been forcibly torn open.

Wang Fugui walked back to the Land Rover and tossed the slightly bent steel pipe back onto the rear seat.

He brushed off non-existent dust from his hands, pulled open the car door, and sat back inside.

Inside the car, Chen Yun and Scorpion looked at him with extremely complex expressions.

Shock, fear, and a hint of some inexplicable... fervor.

Wang Fugui closed the door as if the person who had just dismantled a truck with his bare hands and crushed a crowd wasn't him.

He leaned back in his seat, frowning slightly. In his bloodshot, dark-gold pupils, the churning violence hadn't diminished in the slightest.

In a raspy voice, he spoke a few words to Scorpion in the driver's seat.

"Keep driving."

He paused, then added another sentence.

"I'm a bit hungry."
