80: The Seventh Young Master of the Tianshen Group
"Thump."
Blood Wolf's legs went limp, unable to support his weight any longer, and he knelt directly onto the ground.
"Big Brother, no, no, Dad, I was wrong, I was really wrong."
He no longer dared to harbor any thoughts of escaping, frantically kowtowing to beg for mercy.
"Don't kill me, don't kill me! Whatever you want, I'll give it to you. Money, women, just take whatever I have."
"To survive, you're even willing to call me Dad?"
"However, it's a pity that I'm not interested in those things right now."
Bai Ye shook his head, crouched down, and patted Blood Wolf's face, which was twisted with fear.
"I only want to know who sent you to cause me trouble."
Blood Wolf's body stiffened, and a look of deep hesitation appeared in his eyes.
Betray that Lord?
He dared not.
He had seen that Lord's methods with his own eyes; the consequences of offending him were absolutely worse than death.
But if he didn't speak...
Blood Wolf stole a glance at Bai Ye, unable to help but shiver in his heart.
"Is it hard to answer?"
Bai Ye saw his hesitation: "It seems you still haven't figured out your situation."
"Snap!"
A teeth-grinding sound of bone cracking rang out.
"Ah!"
Blood Wolf let out a heart-wrenching scream, his entire face twisted and deformed from the excruciating pain, and beads of cold sweat rolled down from his forehead.
His right leg was bent at an eerie angle, and the stark white bone had even pierced through his pants, exposed to the air.
Blood Wolf clutched his broken leg, wailing in pain on the ground.
"Can you speak now?"
It wasn't a human leg that Bai Ye had just snapped, but a withered branch.
Blood Wolf was in so much pain he nearly fainted, looking at Bai Ye with eyes full of venomous hatred.
"If you kill me, that Lord won't let you off. You're dead, you're absolutely dead!"
He tried to use that "Lord's" name to threaten Bai Ye.
But without saying it out loud, who the hell knew who that Lord was.
Since he didn't know, why would Bai Ye listen to his threat?
Bai Ye raised an eyebrow, lifted his other foot, and stepped on Blood Wolf's left leg.
Another bone-cracking sound.
"Ahhhh!"
Blood Wolf's scream was even more shrill than before.
Two of his four limbs were now gone.
The intense pain left him without even the strength to roll around; he could only lie on the ground, gasping for breath, his body twitching uncontrollably.
Bai Ye shook his head: "Do you think a truly important figure would care about the life or death of a small fry like you?"
"Killing you would be like killing an ant to him; he wouldn't even furrow his brow."
In reality, Bai Ye had no idea what the person behind the scenes was thinking.
He was merely using Telepathy to determine what Blood Wolf was thinking at that moment; Blood Wolf himself didn't think the person behind him would avenge him either.
Blood Wolf fell silent.
If he didn't speak, he would die now.
If he spoke, he might still have a glimmer of hope.
Of two evils, choose the lesser; he still understood this principle.
"I'll talk! I'll talk!"
Blood Wolf's snot and tears flowed down together.
Bai Ye used his Telepathy Talent to perceive his emotions.
Fear, despair, pain—there wasn't a shred of falsehood.
"Wouldn't it have been better if you did this earlier? Why suffer for nothing?"
Bai Ye sat back down on the sofa, just watching the other person.
"It's the Seventh Young Master of Tianshen Group."
Blood Wolf endured the excruciating pain and sold out his master.
"Tianshen Group again?"
Bai Ye frowned.
This group was one of the sponsors of the Sacred Dragon Cup and even had thoughts of signing him; he hadn't expected them to have connections to the black market as well.
They had their hands in both the light and dark worlds.
"What is the Seventh Young Master's name?"
"I don't know his full name."
Blood Wolf's voice was intermittent; Bai Ye sprinkled some Aromatic Pollen on him, allowing him to temporarily not feel the pain.
"We all call him Seventh Young Master; he's a lunatic, a complete and utter lunatic."
"He has always been obsessed with researching how to make humans as powerful as Demonic Beasts."
"He had his subordinates capture many Beast Tamers with special talents, locked them in a laboratory, and conducted various experiments..."
Speaking to this point, Blood Wolf's body began to tremble uncontrollably again.
"He took a liking to your performance at the Sacred Dragon Cup, especially your muscles that could withstand the Ironclad Steel Dragon, so he wanted to research you."
Bai Ye lowered his head, his index finger tapping continuously on the armrest of the sofa.
So that was it.
There are always self-righteous lunatics who want to satisfy their perverted desires by researching others.
"Where is he now?"
Bai Ye asked coldly; if possible, he wanted to eliminate the Seventh Young Master right now.
Being targeted by such a lunatic was not good news.
Er~ I have a feeling that in the end, I might have to eliminate the entire Tianshen Group.
Better to prepare early.
"I don't know. The Seventh Young Master's whereabouts have always been very mysterious. I'm only responsible for helping him handle some miscellaneous matters in the black market; I can't reach his core circle at all."
Blood Wolf shook his head, but seemingly having thought of something, he hurriedly added:
"However, I heard people say that he seems to have built a new laboratory over in the Star Tower Federation recently, though I don't know the specific location."
The Star Tower Federation was also a superpower and had never really gotten along with the Xuanhuang Nation.
This guy ran pretty far.
Bai Ye used Telepathy to confirm again; Blood Wolf's emotional fluctuations were intense but showed no signs of lying.
That was probably all he knew.
Bai Ye didn't object to researching how to make Beast Tamers stronger.
But to conduct human experiments and set his sights on him—don't blame him for being impolite.
"Very good, I am very satisfied with your answer."
Bai Ye stood up and looked down at Blood Wolf from above.
Seeing this, Blood Wolf looked at him with hope.
"Then can you let me go? I promise I won't say a word about what happened today!"
Bai Ye smiled: "For enemies, I prefer to cut weeds and eliminate the roots."
"You can't kill me, you promised..."
"What did I promise?"
Bai Ye interrupted him: "I said I wouldn't torture you if you answered well, but I didn't say I would let you go."
His gaze swept across the entire basement and finally landed on the pens and paper scattered all over the floor.
"You pieces of trash can all be buried here together and serve as fertilizer."
After speaking, he no longer paid attention to Blood Wolf's desperate wailing and began rummaging around in the basement.
Soon, he discovered several bags of soil packaged in special material in a corner.
[Name]: Elite Rank Humus
[Quality]: Elite Rare
[Effect]: Contains rich Life Energy and nutrients, suitable for the growth of most plant-type Demonic Beasts, and can effectively increase the growth speed of plant-type beast pets with Aptitude below Commander Rank.
"Heh, everything has been prepared for me."
Bai Ye weighed the fertilizer in his hands.
It seems this group had long been prepared to capture him alive and then research Xiao Lan.
Now all these things were his gain.
He put the bags of humus away and walked to the center of the room.
"Alright, it's time to send you on your way."
He gently stomped his feet.
The Vine Whip that had already spread throughout the entire basement exerted force simultaneously at this moment!
