7: How did you get into No. 1 Middle School?

After sitting down in the living room at home, Shen Luoyan requested to assess Guo Hao's knowledge level.

After asking some questions and having Guo Hao do a few exercises, Shen Luoyan pushed up her black-rimmed glasses, her eyes full of suspicion and scrutiny as she looked at Guo Hao beside her.

"How did you get into First High School?"

"Uh..." Guo Hao showed a hint of embarrassment on his face.

After all, he had been reborn. Much of the middle school knowledge had already been mostly forgotten. What he was most familiar with now were just the two chapters on sets and functions that he had just started studying yesterday.

"That was three years ago..." Guo Hao said awkwardly.

"Then what were you doing during those three years of high school?" Shen Luoyan asked directly.

"Uh, uh, uh..." Guo Hao became even more embarrassed.

It was Guo's mother, who was bringing over some food, who heard Shen Luoyan's words and said with a smile.

"This kid, he spent all three years of high school just playing. Every day he went out with his so-called friends to surf the internet and play games. His Dad and I were busy with work every day and didn't have time to look after him," Guo's mother said with a sigh.

"Originally, we didn't have any expectations for him, but we didn't expect that yesterday he would actually say he wanted to study hard. His Dad and I were overjoyed."

Saying this, Guo's mother paused, looking at Shen Luoyan beside her with pleading eyes.

"Luoyan, you must teach him well! Just help him catch up as much as you can."

"Auntie, please rest assured. Since I've taken the money and signed the contract, I will definitely teach him well!" Shen Luoyan said seriously.

"Then thank you first!" Guo's mother said with a smile, putting down the washed fruit, and then left.

At this moment, Shen Luoyan turned her head to look at Guo Hao beside her.

"What we need to do now is not blindly tutor, because your foundation is too poor. I need to first create a tutoring plan for you."

"Okay." Guo Hao nodded.

Indeed, for tutoring, it's best to find a professional.

Shen Luoyan spent some time roughly determining Guo Hao's foundation.

His Mathematics foundation was only equivalent to the level of the first half of the second year of middle school. His Chinese level was normal, he just didn't remember some key poems and classical texts, which could be ignored. Then there was english.

This was relatively normal, because in his later life, Guo Hao had learned a lot of english by himself during the process of doing business. It was business-oriented, and although his grammar was average, his vocabulary was quite good.

Then there was Science Comprehensive.

Regarding Science Comprehensive, Guo Hao's foundation was almost zero, except for some common knowledge questions.

Guo Hao knew almost nothing.

"It's roughly determined. Your weakest areas are Mathematics and Science Comprehensive. My tutoring focus will also be on these four subjects. I will give you an outline and start by reviewing the knowledge from middle school. I will make some adjustments based on your learning progress," Shen Luoyan said seriously to Guo Hao, pushing up her black-rimmed glasses.

"Okay." Guo Hao nodded.

Starting from positive and negative numbers in the first year of middle school.

Shen Luoyan taught very quickly. These parts were very low in difficulty, and Guo Hao found it very easy to grasp.

Soon, Shen Luoyan basically covered all the key points and difficult parts of the first year of middle school.

Then she gave Guo Hao a test paper with the difficulty level of the first year of middle school.

In half an hour, Guo Hao finished the test paper.

On the 120-point test, Guo Hao only got about two or three questions wrong.

Shen Luoyan roughly explained the knowledge points involved in those two or three questions again, and then Guo Hao did another test paper. This time, without any surprise, Guo Hao got a perfect score.

"Ding, host gained Mathematics experience +60."

The Mathematics knowledge from the first year of middle school was only worth 60 points of Mathematics experience, which was not surprising. After all, the knowledge difficulty of first-year middle school Mathematics was not high, and Guo Hao's understanding ability in this area was not bad.

"Okay, your ability to grasp is not bad. Then let's start with the knowledge from the second year of middle school."

For the whole morning, one taught and one learned.

The progress was actually quite fast.

Because Guo Hao was very serious, and his ability to grasp was not bad.

Plus, Shen Luoyan's level was very high.

Of course, the most crucial thing was that middle school knowledge was relatively much simpler, and deep within Guo Hao's long-sealed memories, he still had some impressions of this knowledge.

So, the learning speed was fast, but starting from the knowledge of the second year of middle school, the difficulty began to increase significantly.

And Guo Hao's foundation encountered some obstacles here as well.

11:30 AM.

"That's all for now. I'm going back to eat. Let's continue in the afternoon," Shen Luoyan said to Guo Hao.

"Okay." Guo Hao nodded.

Shen Luoyan had just stood up when Guo's mother, who was busy in the kitchen, saw Shen Luoyan.

"Luoyan, you're...?"

"Auntie, I'm going home to eat," Shen Luoyan said to Guo's mother.

"Don't go! Just eat here for lunch! After all..."

"No, Auntie. I haven't told Grandpa and Grandma yet that I found a tutoring job. If I go back late, Grandpa and Grandma will worry," Shen Luoyan said quickly.

"Alright then, Luoyan, be careful on your way and come a bit earlier in the afternoon," Guo's mother said to Shen Luoyan with some reluctance.

Throughout the morning, Guo's mother had observed Guo Hao many times.

It was the first time Guo's mother had ever seen Guo Hao studying so seriously, and it truly made her feel exceptionally comforted, even to the point of tears.

A motivated son, a serious son.

As long as he is willing to be motivated, as long as he can be serious, it's never too late.

After leaving the Guo family, Shen Luoyan went downstairs.

She got on her somewhat old bicycle and left the residential area.

Passing through bustling streets, Shen Luoyan rode her bicycle. Gradually, the roads she passed through became increasingly desolate, and the houses began to consist mainly of self-built homes.

The houses on both sides of the road began to turn into rice fields.

Then came the village, where cooking smoke was slowly rising at this time.

After cycling for about ten minutes, Shen Luoyan finally returned to the front of her own low-roofed tiled house.

At the doorstep.

Grandpa Shen was puffing on his dry pipe, occasionally tapping his pipe gently against a stone nearby.

"Grandpa," Shen Luoyan called out quickly when she saw her Grandpa.

"Why are you only back now?" Grandpa Shen asked unhurriedly.

She parked her bicycle steadily nearby.

"Grandpa, I found a tutoring job! They pay me 25 kuai an hour!" Shen Luoyan said to her Grandpa happily.

"25 kuai an hour? That's quite a bit!" Grandpa Shen said with some surprise.

"Then you must thank them properly! And be more diligent when tutoring them!" Grandpa Shen instructed.

"Let's go! Your Grandma should have finished cooking. Let's go eat!" Grandpa Shen said, leading Shen Luoyan into the house together.

Back at home, Grandma had already brought the dishes to the table.
