3: Chapter 3 My Cousin is Even More Beautiful

In the two-bedroom rental at Jingyuan Residential Complex, the cold-toned ceiling light in the living room was on.

Sun Qianwen sat cross-legged on the gray fabric sofa, wearing a silk camisole nightdress.

To be fair, Sun Qianwen was certainly not bad-looking, with an oval face and a pert nose. The silk fabric clung to her skin, outlining a figure that was reasonably well-endowed.

It was this appearance that had blinded Zhang Qi back then, making him willingly act as her personal ATM for over a year.

But sitting next to her was a woman who was even more eye-catching.

That was Sun Qianwen's cousin, Sun Yiyao.

This woman was simply a femme fatale. She was wearing a well-tailored business suit, the buttons of her white shirt stretched slightly out of shape, as if they might pop open at any moment.

Beneath her pencil skirt were shapely, long legs wrapped in ultra-thin black stockings. Her legs were crossed, balancing fleshiness and bone in just the right proportion.

On her feet were black pointed-toe high heels, the tips swaying slightly with her breathing.

Her features were more delicate and defined than Sun Qianwen's, with the corners of her eyes slightly upturned, carrying a natural allure.

Yet, her demeanor also revealed a touch of naivety and the reserve that comes from being short on cash.

These two distinct temperaments blended together, creating an extremely lethal combination.

As a high-end wine saleswoman, Sun Yiyao knew very well that her appearance was her asset. But in this materialistic city of Shenzhen, having looks without a background meant life was still a struggle.

Before Zhang Qi returned, the two sisters were chatting.

Sun Qianwen looked at the silent WeChat interface on her phone screen, snorted coldly, and threw the phone onto the coffee table.

"Sister, maybe we should just forget it." Sun Yiyao looked at her cousin, her tone hesitant.

"Renting in Shenzhen is too expensive. If Brother Qi moves out, where will he find a place to live? If it really comes to that, I'll just squeeze into the master bedroom with you; let's leave the second bedroom for him."

Sun Qianwen rolled her eyes, picked up her water glass for a sip, her tone full of disdain and a sense of entitlement.

"Squeeze? What squeeze? How big is that bed in the master bedroom? It's hard enough for two people to even turn over."

"Don't worry. I know Zhang Qi too well. He's the type who would rather suffer than lose face. As long as I'm firm, he won't even dare to let out a peep."

"He didn't reply to my message, so he's probably hiding somewhere feeling sad. When he gets back, I'll just give him a little scolding, and he'll obediently pack his things and go sleep on the streets, all while feeling guilty toward me."

Sun Yiyao bit her rosy lips, her long fingers twisting together.

"But… after all, he paid for this apartment. Is it really okay for us to kick him out?"

After all, Sun Yiyao had only just entered society; her skin wasn't yet as thick as the corner of a city wall like her cousin's.

"What's not okay about it?" Sun Qianwen sneered.

"How many years of a woman's best youth are there? I dated him for over a year; how much time and energy did I waste? The remaining rent only adds up to 20,000 yuan. Think of it as compensation for my lost youth; he's actually getting the better deal."

"You are just too young. You can't be polite to men. The more polite you are, the more they think you're easy to bully. A simp like Zhang Qi—you could even crap on his head, and he'd still ask if your feet were cold."

Sun Qianwen spoke with absolute certainty, as if she already had Zhang Qi wrapped around her finger.

Hearing her cousin's crude remarks, Sun Yiyao felt her worldview crumbling a bit, but under the pressure of reality, she chose to remain silent.

Her current base salary was nowhere near enough to rent a decent room in Shenzhen. If she could freeload for a few months in the large second bedroom, it was indeed a significant temptation for her.

Thinking of this, the negligible guilt in Sun Yiyao's heart was instantly suppressed by her desire for comfort.

Just then, with a "click," the lock on the front door turned.

Zhang Qi walked into the living room, expressionless.

Hearing the noise, Sun Qianwen immediately put on a superior, cold face. She didn't even move her body, just leaned back on the sofa and looked down at Zhang Qi.

"Only coming back now?"

She took the initiative, her tone like she was reprimanding a subordinate who had made a mistake.

"Not replying to WeChat, not calling—what, are you playing the silent treatment on me?"

Zhang Qi stopped and looked at her calmly, as if he were looking at someone mentally disabled.

Thinking Zhang Qi was feeling guilty, Sun Qianwen felt even more smug. She raised a finger painted with red nail polish and pointed toward the second bedroom.

"Alright, I don't want to waste my breath on you. Since you've agreed to break up, be quick about it and pack your things and leave."

"Yiyao is moving in soon, and the second bedroom needs to be cleared for her. You're a grown man, you can't just freeload in a house with two women, right? Don't you have any shame?"

Sun Qianwen spoke righteously, as if she were the one who had paid the tens of thousands of yuan to rent this apartment.

On the side, Sun Yiyao lowered her head in embarrassment, not daring to meet Zhang Qi's eyes, but her body remained honestly seated on the sofa, not moving.

Looking at the woman he had once treated with all his heart, Zhang Qi felt no anger, only the absurdity of watching a clown perform.

How had he not noticed before that this woman's idiocy had reached such an incurable level?

He must have been blind back then to have thrown all his money at such a thing.

Zhang Qi put his hands in his pockets, his tone cold and without a hint of fluctuation.

"Are you done?"

Sun Qianwen was stunned, clearly not expecting this reaction from Zhang Qi.

In her script, Zhang Qi should be looking bitter right now, begging her humbly for another chance, or silently walking into the room to pack his luggage.

"If you're done, get out." Zhang Qi spat out the five words, crisp and clean.

The air in the living room seemed to be sucked out in an instant.

Sun Qianwen widened her eyes, doubting if something was wrong with her ears.

"You... what did you say?"

Zhang Qi looked at her expressionlessly, his voice raised slightly.

"I told you to get out. Can you not understand human speech?"

"I rented this house, I paid the rent, and my name is on the contract. Now that we've broken up, why are you still staying here?"

Sun Qianwen was completely dumbfounded.

She looked at the man in front of her whose aura had completely changed, feeling as if she were looking at a stranger.

Is this still the Zhang Qi who was obedient to her every wish and didn't even dare to speak a harsh word?

How dare he speak to her in this tone!

Beside her, Sun Yiyao also raised her head in surprise, her rosy lips slightly parted. Didn't her cousin say this man was a dead simp she could manipulate at will? Why did his temper seem even tougher than those wealthy bosses?

Zhang Qi couldn't help but sneer inwardly.

His mind was now completely focused on how to spend money and how to trigger the system's double rebate. Every minute wasted here was a loss of real money.

If it weren't for coming back to kick this disgusting vampire out, he would have been out there throwing money around by now.

For an obstacle blocking him from making money, why would he show any mercy?

"Zhang Qi! Are you crazy!"

Sun Qianwen finally reacted, the expression on her face instantly turning twisted.

The huge sense of disparity and the humiliation of being slapped in the face made her scream like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.

"You actually dare to tell me to get out? Don't forget, it was you who wasted so much of my youth! Think of this house as compensation you're giving me, so what? You're a grown man, and you don't even have this much capacity? You deserve to be poor for the rest of your life!"

She jumped up from the sofa and pointed at Zhang Qi's nose, cursing wildly.

Zhang Qi completely ignored Sun Qianwen's impotent rage.

His gaze passed over the clawing and screeching Sun Qianwen and landed on Sun Yiyao on the sofa.

To be fair, Sun Yiyao's condition was more than a grade higher than Sun Qianwen's.

Whether it was that face with a touch of innocence and allure, or the hot figure wrapped in that business suit, it was enough to make most men drool.

Zhang Qi narrowed his eyes, and a thought suddenly popped into his mind.

Kicking Sun Qianwen out directly was satisfying, but it didn't seem enough to truly satisfy him.

After all, he had been a simp for over a year!

Now, it seemed there was a way to make Sun Qianwen feel even worse...

"Sun... Yiyao, right?"

Zhang Qi looked at the more alluring cousin and said with a smile: "I only told your cousin to get out, I didn't tell you to leave. If you don't want to go, you can stay..."
