153: How to break the curse of heaven

Time flew by, and three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Su Bai had now adapted to his body; at least he wasn't falling unconscious every now and then.

The National War was set to begin in five days, and they still hadn't found a way to break the curse on Su Bai.

Mu Yan had also left; she was reportedly going to undertake her profession advancement quest.

Su Bai originally wanted to accompany the girl, but Mu Yan stopped him.

Her reason was that his body was too weak and he shouldn't participate in dungeon realms yet; his main task now was to rest well and recover his body.

"Little Bai, are you bored staying here?"

Watching Little Bai's figure appear in the sky, Su Bai spoke softly.

Staying in this courtyard every day, Su Bai rarely went out to find others, and he didn't particularly like interacting with people.

"Master, I'll take you to find a new friend."

Just then, Little Bai directly lifted Su Bai, twisting its massive body and speeding off into the distance.

Before long, they flew over an endless ocean.

The Ten Thousand Year Xuan Turtle's huge head emerged, looking at Su Bai before it.

"Little fellow, your situation seems quite bad."

The Ten Thousand Year Xuan Turtle said slowly.

"It's alright, the situation is indeed a bit bad, but fortunately, these Beasts can still be used, so at least I won't encounter any danger."

Su Bai heard this, leaned on Little Bai's shoulder, and spoke softly.

"No, no, no, you underestimate the Heavenly Dao's curse too much."

"In your current state, if you don't resolve the curse soon, your life will be in danger."

Just then, the Ten Thousand Year Xuan Turtle suddenly spoke.

"Old Man, you're not joking with me, are you!"

As soon as he said this, a trace of panic clearly flashed across Su Bai's face.

"Of course not, this is the Heavenly Dao's curse. I, this Old Man, once saw such a person."

"That was a high and mighty god; after being cursed by the Heavenly Dao, his body was collapsing every moment, but fortunately, he Controlled the power of time, and his body would recover accordingly."

"But eventually, one day, the Heavenly Dao's curse will accumulate to an insurmountable degree. By then, it will be difficult to remove this curse."

The Old Turtle nodded, speaking with a very serious expression.

"Then is there any way to remove this curse?"

Su Bai heard this and instantly became flustered.

He had originally wanted to relax for a few days, but now it seemed there might not be such an opportunity.

"I, this Old Man, do not know about that."

"In my humble opinion, there should be records concerning this in the Four Great Ancient Civilizations. You should investigate carefully."

The Old Turtle gently shook its head and retracted its turtle head.

"Little Bai, let's go back."

Su Bai's expression was somewhat solemn as he patted Little Bai's head.

Little Bai heard this and immediately sped off towards the room.

"You are not allowed to tell anyone about this matter, do you hear me?"

Su Bai looked at Little Bai before him, his expression serious as he reminded it.

"Don't worry, absolutely not."

After advancing to the God-level stage, Little Bai and Little Hei could begin to speak human words.

It already possessed intelligence no less than that of humans, so it naturally understood its master's actions.

After Su Bai returned Little Bai to his Beast Taming Space, he went directly to the library.

This library was very large, a full eight stories high, and contained the secrets of the entire continent.

Su Bai was not exaggerating; the Element Academy's library indeed collected most of the books on the continent.

"Why are you here?"

Just as Su Bai was about to pick up a book, he saw Qing Wei standing before him.

"I came here to read some books and also to look for a way to resolve the curse on me."

As soon as he said this, Su Bai quickly spoke.

"You don't need to look at the bottom four floors; I've thoroughly browsed all of them, and not a single book records a method for resolving body curses."

Qing Wei paused, then suddenly spoke.

"You didn't look through every book here, did you?"

As soon as she said this, Su Bai couldn't help but gasp.

"The trouble back then was caused by us. If it weren't for saving us, you wouldn't have been cursed by the Heavenly Dao. Both in terms of emotion and reason, I should help you."

"It's just reading some books; compared to the pain you're enduring now, it's nothing."

Qing Wei smiled slightly and said.

"That's not necessarily true. I'm a tough person, and I usually don't pay attention to these minor injuries."

"You don't need to feel too guilty about this matter. I haven't blamed you, so why do you care so much?"

Su Bai's face reddened, and he quickly spoke.

One must know that he possessed the Robe of Oblivion; for this woman to still remember his affairs, she was definitely not ordinary.

Unlike those other guys, they probably forgot everything, anyway, they hadn't bothered Su Bai these past two days, which gave him some peace.

"Wait, are you flipping through books one by one?"

"Isn't that too much of a waste of time?"

"You can use your mental power to load these books into your mind and then quickly browse them."

Looking at Qing Wei's actions, Su Bai was stunned.

"I can, but then I wouldn't be looking carefully enough, and sometimes it's easy to miss things."

"Also, there are some mysterious books that completely block mental power detection. I'm doing this to be safe."

As her voice fell, the book in Qing Wei's hand closed directly, and she picked up another book with her other hand.

"You don't have to do this. The National War is approaching; breaking through your strength is the most important thing."

Su Bai heard this and quickly waved his hand.

"The National War is important, but your body is also very important. I don't like owing favors to others."

"You continue reading."

Qing Wei looked at the book in her hand and said seriously.

Seeing this, Su Bai also felt embarrassed to persuade her further, so he could only pick up a book and begin to browse it carefully.

As time gradually passed, by the time Su Bai looked up, it was already night.

It was pitch black outside, and the girl, Qing Wei, was there, still flipping through books.

For the entire day, she had been sitting there, only occasionally getting up to stretch her muscles and bones.

"Uh, do you want to take a break, go out for a meal or something?"

Su Bai walked up to Qing Wei and asked tentatively.

"No need. If you're hungry, you go eat. Don't worry about me."

Qing Wei waved her hand at Su Bai before her, then carried the books upstairs.
