62: Listening to music in the brothel

After entering the City Lord's Mansion, Su Bai headed straight for the Qinglong City Lord's location.

With the title of Champion Marquis, entering the City Lord's Mansion was like entering his own backyard; no one dared to stop him.

"My dear brother Su Bai, you've finally arrived. The teleportation array has long been prepared."

After Su Bai was conferred the Champion Marquis title, the Qinglong City Lord started addressing him as "my dear brother Su Bai."

The two were now peers, and the Champion Marquis's status was even higher than his.

"My dear brother Qinglong, you're being too polite."

"If there's nothing else, I'll depart then."

Hearing this, Su Bai smiled slightly and said softly.

"There's still a small matter."

"My good-for-nothing son is also going to the Imperial Capital. Since it's your first time there, how about he acts as your guide?"

The Qinglong City Lord, setting aside his identity as a City Lord, was definitely a shrewd businessman, truly cunning.

He was stubbornly insisting on sending his son with him, and Su Bai had no choice.

This City Lord had gathered quite a few materials for him; he couldn't possibly refuse him, could he?

"Of course, no problem. That would be for the best."

Hearing this, Su Bai quickly nodded.

"Wang Ning, get out here quickly and return to the Imperial Capital with your Uncle Su Bai."

"Remember what I told you earlier; don't forget it."

The Qinglong City Lord shouted towards the inner room.

"Hello, Uncle Su Bai."

Wang Ning scurried over, a hint of respect in his eyes.

Now, he admired Su Bai immensely.

Becoming a Marquis at a young age, scolding a Demon God, utterly arrogant and domineering—a man who achieved this much was truly remarkable.

"Don't call me uncle; just call me Su Bai. Let's go."

Su Bai stepped into the teleportation array, and golden light began to flash continuously, as the two began a long wait.

Ten minutes later, a white light erupted from the teleportation array, and the figures of the two suddenly vanished.

When Su Bai opened his eyes again, he had arrived in the bustling Imperial Capital.

This was Su Bai's first time in this place, the very center of the Meteor Empire.

This teleportation array was built on a cliff; those who teleported out, standing on the cliff face, could take in the entire city's splendor.

The ancient, grand city, illuminated by the sunlight, appeared lifelike.

The entire city stretched as far as the eye could see, looking extraordinarily magnificent.

"What a way to advertise!"

Su Bai couldn't help but smile as he looked at the scene before him.

The person who designed this teleportation array was absolutely a genius, full of clever ideas.

"Uncle Su Bai, where do you want to go now?"

Wang Ning's tone was extremely respectful, a humble smile on his face.

"What's the most famous restaurant in this Imperial Capital?"

"I want to try the local cuisine first."

Su Bai looked at the distant sun; it was already close to setting.

They planned to bother the Emperor tomorrow and enter that ultimate secret realm.

"Of course, it's Cui Xianju; that's the most prosperous restaurant in the entire Imperial Capital."

"This restaurant offers many services; it's definitely the most entertaining place in the entire Imperial Capital."

"However, given your status, if you go, you still need to be careful; it wouldn't look good if word got out."

Wang Ning hesitated for a moment before reminding him.

His father had told him all the way here that no matter what Su Bai wanted to do or say, he must firmly stand by him.

As long as he could cling to Su Bai's leg, any price was worth paying.

"Then let's disguise ourselves and go take a look at Cui Xianju."

Su Bai nodded and said softly.

The two turned and walked towards a clothing shop.

Before long, two handsome young men emerged from the shop, looking exceptionally presentable.

"Oh right, Sir Su Bai, my father also asked me to remind you of something."

"The Yang family's guardian might return during this time. Remember to be careful and never let your guard down."

Wang Ning followed behind Su Bai, speaking cautiously.

"Don't worry, isn't it just a Nine Revolutions job changer? If he dares to show his face, I'll dare to kill him."

Su Bai smiled, not caring at all.

"You're absolutely right."

As soon as this was said, Wang Ning quickly nodded.

How could he forget? The person before him had single-handedly killed a World Boss; a mere Nine Revolutions was nothing to him.

The two quickly arrived at Cui Xianju, and Su Bai sat in a secluded private room, savoring the dishes before him.

Slender figures appeared before him, each dancing gracefully, a truly beautiful sight.

Elegant!

Truly elegant!

Su Bai hummed a little tune, a satisfied expression on his face.

Especially in this world, many girls were professionals, which meant they all had excellent figures and were exceptionally beautiful.

With nothing to do, listening to music in a brothel.

Sometimes, living a life like this was indeed quite comfortable.

"Who the hell is so blind as to occupy my private room?"

"Don't you know whose territory this is?"

Just then, an extremely arrogant voice rang out, immediately drawing everyone's attention.

A man walked in directly from outside, with several burly men standing behind him.

"Young Master Hao, we really have distinguished guests here today. Please don't make things difficult for us."

The old madam blocked Young Master Hao, her eyes filled with anxiety.

"Let them come over!"

Su Bai waved towards the Young Master not far away, smiling as he spoke.

"Uh, I'm sorry, I went into the wrong room."

"I'm really sorry, did I disturb you?"

"You are a great person, please don't bother with us."

The man was initially somewhat arrogant, but when he saw Su Bai sitting in the main seat, his face instantly turned pale with fright, and his body couldn't help but tremble.

"Is something wrong?"

"If nothing's wrong, then get out."

Su Bai didn't bother with this fellow; he simply kicked him out of the private room.

"That scared me to death! Why was that guy eating there?"

Hao Dashao, having narrowly escaped, patted his chest, a hint of panic in his eyes.

Their elders had long since sent Su Bai's portrait to everyone, instructing them to commit Su Bai's face to memory.

If anyone dared not to comply, they would likely be punished.

"Boss, aren't we going to get revenge?"

A lackey quickly asked.

"Revenge your ass, hurry and follow me."

Hao Dashao rolled his eyes upon hearing this.

His servant was truly too weak; describing him as frail wouldn't be an exaggeration.

The two, one after the other, immediately walked out of Cui Xianju.
