98: Forbidden Area

Standing before him were countless members of the Elf Race.

However, these clan members had lost their original consciousness, leaving only empty shells.

Flaming Elf

Race: Demigod Race

Health: 8,000,000

Attack: 170,000

Skills: Endless Fire Domain, Elf Restraint, God's Whisper, Flaming Tyrannosaurus...

Holy Shepherd Elf

Race: Demigod Race

Level: 250

Health: 8,000,000

Attack: 160,000

Skills: Holy Light Healing, Elf Restraint, God's Whisper, Resurrection, Guardian...

"Holy crap, are these stats a joke?"

Su Bai couldn't help but be stunned as he looked at the dozens of Elves in front of him.

The stats of each Elf were remarkably similar and equally astonishing.

These Elves not only had ridiculously high levels and health, but what was most terrifying was that they formed a massive army, complementing and supporting each other.

Most importantly, they also possessed abnormal skills like Guardian and Resurrection. Who could possibly defeat them?

If it weren't for the appearance of an anomaly like Su Bai, this secret realm would probably never have been cleared.

"No wonder you couldn't get through this area. Ordinary Awakeners probably really don't have the ability."

Looking at the Elves before him, a hint of emotion flashed in Su Bai's eyes.

He found it incredibly difficult to imagine how such a powerful Elf Race could have vanished so silently, without a single rumor escaping.

Who on earth did this?

"What do you think?"

"Do you really think I'm just a pretty face?"

"I am one of the most brilliant geniuses in the entire Imperial Capital Academy. If they were just ordinary small fry, would Dean Jiang Lin have bothered to ask someone to help me?"

Mu Yan rolled her eyes, giving him an annoyed glance.

He really thought she was just a pretty face!

"Don't worry, I'm here."

"Leave these monsters to me."

Su Bai summoned his subdued beasts and began launching a devastating attack.

Terrifying blood-red mist enveloped the entire space, and the Profound Nether Flame continuously burned within the blood mist. Dragon breaths were unleashed upon the monsters, causing the entire secret realm to shake instantly.

"I finally understand why your level increased so quickly."

"With your method of grinding monsters, it would be a ghost if your level didn't increase rapidly."

Mu Yan looked at Su Bai in front of her, rolling her eyes, but her heart was filled with immense shock.

Oh my god, it's a disaster!

How could such a terrifying freak exist in this world?

Who grinds monsters like this?

These monsters didn't even have a chance to resist before being sent to the underworld.

Congratulations! You have successfully slain a Holy Shepherd Elf. Reward: 0 experience points.

Congratulations! You have successfully slain a Flaming Elf. Reward: 0 experience points.

You have successfully picked up the Platinum equipment Elf Scepter. It has been automatically stored in your backpack.

You have successfully picked up the Platinum equipment Elf Dagger. It has been automatically stored in your backpack.

What a bunch of trash equipment!

Is the Elf Race really that poor?

This ruin only contained basic Platinum equipment; that's too shabby.

He meticulously cleared the entire ruin, but the only equipment he obtained was these Platinum items, with no higher quality ones, which left him very disappointed.

"Let's go, quickly. Who knows how long it will take for these monsters to respawn!"

Su Bai gave up on the idea of taking advantage, withdrew his divine abilities, and immediately pulled Mu Yan towards the depths of the ruined palace.

They walked along, passing through several checkpoints.

The guards of the Elf Race had no power to resist and were all wiped out by Su Bai.

Half an hour later, the two successfully passed through the ruins and arrived at a spacious clearing.

A stone tablet stood there, emitting a faint, chilling aura.

Forbidden Land.

Four large characters, carved in vivid red blood, were inscribed on the stone tablet, looking exceptionally eerie.

"We've arrived."

"I just wonder if this forbidden land of the Elf Race has any good treasures. This place is full of junk; there isn't a single piece of equipment that excites me."

Su Bai took Mu Yan's hand, and the two walked directly into this forbidden land.

"Please retreat quickly. This place is the forbidden land of the Elf Race. Non-clan members are forbidden from entering."

"Violators will be executed."

Just then, a figure suddenly appeared before the two, blocking their path.

"Where did this Old Man come from?"

Su Bai looked at the Elf Elder in front of him, a hint of confusion flashing in his eyes.

"Senior, this is the token I received. I once received a favor from a great person, and he told me to come to the Forbidden Land to seek my own destiny. Please make it convenient for me, senior."

Mu Yan rummaged through her pocket for a long time and finally found a token, which she waved in front of the guardian.

"Token confirmed. You may enter."

The Old guy raised his head and glanced at the two in front of him, his cold voice sounding again.

Is this a living person?

Su Bai's eyes flashed with shock when he saw that this guy could communicate without hindrance.

He stretched his hand out in front of him, shaking it frantically.

Unfortunately, the Old Man in front of him remained unmoved, completely ignoring Su Bai's actions.

"Let's go in."

Mu Yan took a deep breath, took Su Bai's hand, and walked inside.

As soon as the two stepped into the forbidden land, the Old Man appeared in front of Su Bai, his long sword blocking Su Bai's path.

"You have no token. You are forbidden from entering the forbidden land."

The icy voice sounded again, instantly making Su Bai's expression turn grim.

Who are you looking down on?

I can't get in just because I don't have a token?

What kind of logic is that!

"Say one more word, and believe it or not, I'll make sure you don't see the sun next year."

Su Bai rolled up his sleeves, ready for a big fight.

"No, absolutely not. Since he agreed for me to go in, I'll just go in by myself."

Mu Yan quickly spoke upon hearing this.

"What's there to be afraid of? He's just a rotten Old Man guarding the gate. I don't even care about him."

Su Bai heard this and rolled up his sleeves, ready to act.

Seeing this, Mu Yan also felt a bit awkward and gave up on the idea of continuing to dissuade Su Bai.

She was afraid that if she said anything more, Su Bai might have other thoughts.

"Alright, alright, I'll give you face."

"This is your class change quest, which should be very important to you. I won't argue with this Old Man for now."

Su Bai glanced at Mu Yan beside him, seemingly realizing that this was her quest, and stopped the idea of summoning his subdued beasts.

He was also afraid of damaging this Old Man and preventing Mu Yan from successfully changing her class, which would truly make him a sinner.

"Thank you."

Mu Yan's eyes lit up slightly, and she quickly spoke.
