Ready

426: Defeat the enemy and obtain intelligence.

As Pandora turned and left, Stephen and his group quickly finished clearing out the remaining people.

"Pursue them."

Stephen gave the order coldly. They only had two 'rats' left to eliminate, and once those two were dealt with, the victory would naturally be theirs.

*Tat-tat-tat.*

Just as Stephen and his group officially began pursuing Pandora, Jiang Chuan took a deep breath and continuously pulled the trigger.

With every pull of the trigger, a bullet instantly sliced through the darkness, taking down a life.

In a short period, Stephen and his group suffered another dozen casualties.

"Take cover."

Stephen watched his men drop one after another, his expression growing increasingly grim. He hadn't expected Jiang Chuan to maintain such high accuracy without any sign of fatigue, forcing him to order everyone to halt and take cover, not daring to show their heads easily.

Stephen and his group still had over thirty men left. If they wanted to secure victory, they would have to silently sneak up on Jiang Chuan and execute a decisive strike.

But how could Jiang Chuan possibly give them that opportunity? Since Black Hawk had previously exposed himself, Jiang Chuan was naturally extremely cautious.

*Tat-tat.*

As Stephen and his men attempted to spread out and use cover to continuously close the distance on Jiang Chuan, the moment they risked the slightest exposure, Jiang Chuan would immediately open fire to suppress them, giving them no chance to draw near.

"That damned bastard."

Stephen's face was utterly awful; they were still a great distance from Jiang Chuan, making it extremely difficult to take him out.

"You may proceed with your move."

Jiang Chuan said this slowly to Pandora when he saw that Stephen and his men were completely suppressed by him.

"I understand."

Having heard Jiang Chuan's words, Pandora understood his intention.

Although Pandora continued to retreat, she was constantly shifting her position, intending to circle around behind Stephen and his men for a surprise attack. As long as she could continually reduce Stephen's forces, the ultimate victor remained uncertain.

Pandora quickly moved toward the rear. Stephen and his group currently had no good solution; they could only continuously discuss how to evade Jiang Chuan's sniping and find a way to completely eliminate him.

*Tat-tat-tat.*

Stephen and his men had failed to notice that Pandora had already circled around and reached their rear. When the gunfire suddenly rang out, Stephen was hit by Pandora. Fortunately, he was protected by a bulletproof vest, leaving him only seriously wounded, but the teammates around him all collapsed into pools of blood, having been shot in the head.

"That damned bastard, the enemy is attacking from behind! Be careful!"

Stephen endured the pain and roared furiously, loudly warning his comrades.

Stephen and his men now knew Pandora was behind them, making them even more cautious. They had to guard against Jiang Chuan's sniping while also watching out for Pandora at their backs. At this moment, they were effectively surrounded by the two, yet dared not expose themselves easily, leaving everyone feeling extremely stifled.

Jiang Chuan also seized this opportunity and quickly rushed toward Stephen and his group.

At this point, Jiang Chuan naturally abandoned using the sniper rifle for suppression; now, he only needed to eliminate Stephen and the remaining men.

*Tat-tat-tat.*

When Jiang Chuan drew near Stephen and his men, the two worked together seamlessly, and soon, only Stephen was left alive.

"Contact Headquarters and have them immediately dispatch reinforcements."

Jiang Chuan and Pandora were breathing heavily. He looked at Pandora beside him and immediately spoke.

"I understand."

Pandora naturally agreed without hesitation after hearing Jiang Chuan's words. They had secured the final victory, and the two of them had survived. The next step was to request support from Headquarters; they needed to fight their way back.

Headquarters, upon learning of the danger Pandora and Jiang Chuan had faced, agreed without hesitation. They would dispatch reinforcements to Clockwork Country immediately.

"Leave this to me."

Jiang Chuan dragged Stephen directly to the destroyed villa. Hankins and the butler, who were tied up, were lucky enough to be alive, though they were completely bound and had no way to escape. Jiang Chuan gathered the three men together.

"Watch these two men. I will handle what comes next."

Jiang Chuan left this instruction with Pandora, then quickly departed, dragging Stephen along.

Ah! Ah! Ah!

When Jiang Chuan took Stephen to the other side, the various screams made both Hankins and the butler's scalps crawl. They didn't know what was happening, but they could perceive Stephen's agonizing cries growing weaker and weaker, realizing Stephen was enduring inhuman torment and suffering.

"Come with me."

Stephen's voice completely vanished. Jiang Chuan came before Hankins, gave him no chance to resist, and immediately dragged him away.

Hankins looked at Stephen lying on the ground, his fate unknown, and couldn't help but tremble.

"Start talking."

Jiang Chuan looked at Hankins with icy eyes.

Hankins naturally understood what Jiang Chuan wanted to hear and told him everything without hesitation, offering no resistance. He wanted to survive and certainly did not want to be cruelly tortured.

Jiang Chuan nodded in satisfaction, seeing how cooperative Hankins was. When he noticed discrepancies between the information provided by Hankins and Stephen, he acted without hesitation, showing absolutely no mercy. He certainly wasn't going to go easy on the people who had nearly taken his life.

*Tat.*

After Jiang Chuan finished with Hankins, he immediately shot him dead without hesitation. He had no intention of letting these people live; once they became enemies, it was a matter of life or death.

"It's your turn."

Jiang Chuan looked at the last man, the butler. He quickly brought the man in front of the two corpses. The butler saw the two fallen bodies, understanding that both men were now dead. The butler was very stubborn and did not intend to say anything, knowing his final outcome was sealed.

Jiang Chuan looked at the butler, who remained stubbornly silent, and smiled coldly. He liked this kind of person the most.

After repeated torture, the butler's stubborn resolve finally broke. After telling Jiang Chuan everything he knew, Jiang Chuan took his life.
