65: Security Bureau members actively cooperated

“They followed.”

Jiang Chuan was currently hiding in the shadows, observing the mysterious group of four. Watching them split into two teams to search for his traces, he quickly vanished from his spot.

Although he was unfamiliar with the hotel's rooftop structure, the enemy was exposed while he remained hidden.

Although the enemies possessed weapons, he was equally confident that he could easily deal with all four of them.

After vanishing, Jiang Chuan quickly approached the direction of the enemies. His footsteps were silent, his figure like a ghost, each step carrying an uncanny rhythm, as if he had merged with the surrounding environment. Soon, he had silently closed in on the two individuals.

Bang!

Jiang Chuan's speed was extreme; he decisively moved against the two mysterious individuals who had not yet discovered him. His punch was as swift as lightning, its power fiercely immense, striking one of them directly in the abdomen.

His speed was too fast and his attack too sudden, leaving the opponent no time to react. The person struck grunted, their body flying violently backward, crashing into a stone pillar. They spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, clearly suffering serious injuries and losing the ability to fight.

At the same time, the other person reacted. However, Jiang Chuan did not give him a moment to breathe; he quickly kicked toward the opponent.

This person attempted to resist, but when the kick connected, a massive force instantly pierced through his arm, causing the man in front of him to also be sent flying, spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood and losing the ability to fight.

Jiang Chuan dealt with the two individuals, disarmed them of their weapons, and immediately left the area.

Jiang Chuan did not show any mercy in this attack; the two men were unable to speak and warn their comrades.

“Old Eagle.”

“Monkey, if you hear me, please respond.”

Although Captain Qin and his team had split into two groups, they were required to make contact every minute. If the other party failed to speak, they would know something had gone wrong.

“Something happened.”

When Captain Qin heard no response from the other team, he knew that the other squad had been taken out.

He knew that the three team members he brought this time were all skilled operatives, capable of easily handling ordinary assassins.

For this assassin to eliminate two other team members so quickly, he was very likely a B-rank or even A-rank assassin.

Jiang Chuan had already approached Captain Qin and his companion and was preparing to act when he suddenly heard their voices. He instantly stopped his movement and frowned instead.

“It seems I underestimated this assassin.”

Captain Qin spoke this sentence gravely to his companion.

“Captain Qin, this isn't your fault. We didn't know that to deal with ordinary people, they would dispatch a B-rank or even A-rank assassin.”

The companion said this to Captain Qin after hearing his words.

“Let's be careful and go find Old Eagle and the other guy first.”

Captain Qin did not reply, only speaking a single instruction to his companion.

“Who exactly are you people?”

Jiang Chuan's deep voice slowly echoed from the shadows.

“Hmm?”

Captain Qin and his companion instantly became alert upon hearing Jiang Chuan's voice, because they heard Jiang Chuan speaking Chinese.

However, the two quickly realized that many assassins who enter China speak Chinese, so they were not overly surprised.

“What happened to my comrades?”

Captain Qin heard Jiang Chuan questioning them in a lowered voice. Since they temporarily couldn't pinpoint Jiang Chuan's exact location by sound, he questioned him back coldly.

“You haven't answered my question yet.”

Hearing Captain Qin evade the question, Jiang Chuan's tone became even colder, revealing a lethal intent that could be sensed solely through his voice.

“China Security Team—First Squad Leader Qin Aotian.”

Qin Aotian sensed the coldness in Jiang Chuan's words. Not daring to joke about his comrades' lives, he revealed his identity.

“How can you prove your identity?”

Jiang Chuan frowned upon hearing that Qin Aotian and his companion were actually from the Security Team. His tone softened slightly, losing the initial coldness.

“This is our internal information. I believe no one in the world can hack into our internal systems and alter the information inside.”

Qin Aotian also sensed that Jiang Chuan's tone had softened. He took out a specialized mobile phone, pulled up their information, and tossed it directly onto the ground. He believed that if Jiang Chuan saw this information, he should be able to confirm their identity.

Jiang Chuan looked at the phone thrown by Qin Aotian, clearly saw their identification, and knew that Qin Aotian was right.

No one had the ability or means to alter the Security Team's information. The identity of the other party could be confirmed; they were from the Security Team.

“Don't shoot.”

Jiang Chuan confirmed the identity of Qin Aotian and his companion, stated loudly, and then raised his hands and walked out of the shadows.

“So young?”

Qin Aotian and his companion were very surprised when they heard Jiang Chuan's words and saw him emerge from the shadows, not expecting him to be so young. However, they did not lower the pistols in their hands; they kept them aimed at Jiang Chuan. If Jiang Chuan made any aggressive move, they would shoot him immediately.

“Wildcat, you maintain vigilance. I'll conduct the search.”

Qin Aotian instructed his companion, then slowly approached Jiang Chuan. After thoroughly checking the opponent for any dangers, he breathed a sigh of relief. He instantly gave Wildcat a look, and Wildcat took out the rose gold handcuffs and placed them on Jiang Chuan.

Jiang Chuan looked at his hands cuffed behind his back. He did not resist the entire time and was very cooperative.

“Your two comrades are not far away. They were injured by me, and their injuries are quite serious. You need to send them for treatment quickly.”

Jiang Chuan spoke to both Qin Aotian and Wildcat at this moment.

“Understood.”

Seeing Jiang Chuan being so cooperative, Qin Aotian gave him a deep look. He immediately contacted the other team members to come to the location, who took Old Eagle and the other man away for treatment. As for the bodies inside the hotel, they were also taken away at this time.

Jiang Chuan was taken by Qin Aotian to a secret interrogation facility belonging to the Security Team.

“Name.”

“Jiang Chuan.”

“Age.”

“Twenty-five.”

“Nationality.”

“China.”

... “Why did you come to China?”

Qin Aotian looked at Jiang Chuan, continuously asking various questions, and Jiang Chuan honestly answered all of Qin Aotian's questions.

“I am Chinese. I believe that by stating my name, you should be able to quickly find all my information. As for my deeper identity, once you confirm that I am not an assassin, you can apply to the High-Level Official, and you should be able to find out.”

Jiang Chuan knew that quite a few High-Level Officials in China were aware of his identity, so he spoke this sentence while looking at Qin Aotian.

“Alright.”

Seeing Jiang Chuan being so cooperative, Qin Aotian did not make things difficult for him, but instead waited for members of the Security Team to bring all of Jiang Chuan's identification information.
