238: Chapter 237 Sorry, I don't talk to my defeated opponents.

A pair of flashy, neon-green limited edition AJs.

Chewing gum, his right hand was shoved into the pocket of his ripped jeans,

while his left arm rested against a pillar in the corridor. He leaned against it, tilting his head to look at Qin Feng.

The back of his right hand was wrapped in gauze, and a bit of blood seeped through near the thumb,

staining the white gauze a dark red.

Chu Tianming.

He squinted as he watched Qin Feng walk in.

Finally, he's here.

Early this morning, his older brother had ordered him back to Zifeng Tower and given him a fierce tongue-lashing.

After the scolding, his brother said one thing.

"I've invited Qin Feng this afternoon. Come with me."

To his ears, his brother inviting Qin Feng for tea meant only one thing: his brother was going to personally deal with this man.

Since he was going to be dealt with, he'd surely have to apologize to me for yesterday, right?

Besides, with his brother having six Mercenaries surrounding them, Qin Feng couldn't pull any tricks. He might as well collect some interest first.

Chu Tianming pushed himself off the pillar and took two steps forward, blocking the middle of the stone path.

He pulled his right hand out of his jeans pocket and flashed the gauze-wrapped back of his hand at Qin Feng.

"Yo."

Chu Tianming gave a crooked smirk.

"President Qin, what a coincidence."

Qin Feng didn't stop walking.

Chu Tianming ground his back teeth.

He stepped to the right, completely blocking the stone path.

"President Qin, why the rush?"

Qin Feng stopped.

It wasn't because his path was blocked; he stopped of his own accord.

He tilted his head and glanced at Chu Tianming.

Chu Tianming's facial muscles were forming an expression: arrogance.

The corners of his mouth curled up, his chin was raised, and his nostrils flared slightly.

But Qin Feng's [Advanced Psychological Game Theory] automatically deconstructed the underlying data of this expression in the background.

The upward angle of the mouth was too large, exceeding the normal range of a confident smile. The orbicularis oculi muscles did not contract in sync.

A fake smile.

The chin was raised more than fifteen degrees, the neck muscles were taut, and the Adam's apple was positioned high.

A defensive posture.

He had been humiliated by Qin Feng on Panshan Road last night.

If he didn't feel like Chu Zhengyang was backing him up today, he probably wouldn't have dared to show his face here.

Qin Feng sighed inwardly.

Pitiful.

"President Qin, running must have felt pretty good last night, huh?"

Chu Tianming spat his gum out, and with a 'snap', flicked it into the bushes beside the stone path.

"My GTR, with six million in modifications, was smashed just like that."

He raised his gauze-wrapped right hand and waved it in front of Qin Feng.

"See this? The shock from the hammer split my hand open. Seven stitches. Yet here I am today, behaving myself."

Qin Feng didn't respond.

Chu Tianming's voice rose half a pitch.

"The thirty million, you received it?"

"I did."

Chu Tianming felt a lump in his chest, as if he had thrown a punch into cotton.

He took half a step forward, closing the distance between him and Qin Feng to less than a meter.

"President Qin, do you know why my brother invited you here today?"

Qin Feng looked at him.

"Will I know the answer once I go in?"

"Of course I know."

Chu Tianming pulled his left hand out of his pocket and pointed his index finger at Qin Feng.

He didn't touch him, but the gesture was provocative.

"My brother asked you here to give you a chance."

"What kind of chance?"

Chu Tianming grinned, revealing a row of teeth.

"A chance to get on your knees and apologize."

The stone path went silent for a second.

hydrangea stood at the corner of the corridor, remaining silent.

This idiot Chu Tianming didn't even know why he had been called here.

hydrangea couldn't help but cough, trying to interrupt Chu Tianming, but Chu Tianming was in the middle of an arrogant high and wouldn't listen to anything.

"Chu Tianming, was it?"

Chu Tianming subconsciously straightened his back.

"Your brother told you to come?"

"What do you care who told me to come?"

"Oh, so no one told you to come."

Qin Feng shoved both hands into his suit pants pockets.

"You really are obedient, coming just because your brother told you to."

"Weren't you scolded by your brother yesterday? And yet you're still this obedient today. Truly a good little boy."

Chu Tianming's pupils constricted.

"How... how did you know?"

Qin Feng didn't answer.

Through [Advanced Psychological Game Theory] running in the background, he connected all of today's information into a single thread.

On the phone this morning, hydrangea had personally said:

"Tianming is young and reckless. Inviting you for tea today is also meant as an apology to Mr. Qin."

An apology.

Would someone like Chu Zhengyang sincerely apologize for his brother? He even discarded Qian Zhenghao like a pawn, let alone a good-for-nothing younger brother.

But Chu Tianming was indeed here.

Chu Zhengyang hadn't called him here out of concern; he needed a prop to express sincerity.

Making his brother bow his head and admit his mistake in person would give Qin Feng an 'out,' allowing the subsequent negotiations to fall into his rhythm.

However, this Second Young Master's current state didn't match Chu Zhengyang's script at all.

Still, Chu Zhengyang was quite ruthless, and this Chu Tianming was truly stupid.

Irascible, impatient, and desperately trying to regain face.

He had no idea why his brother had dragged him here.

After being scolded and brought to the scene as an apology tool,

he was still in the dark, thinking his brother was here to back him up.

Qin Feng let out a cold sneer.

Staring at Qin Feng's composed face, the fire in Chu Tianming's chest could no longer be suppressed.

"Stop fucking pretending!"

"You think winning one race makes you someone? You think taking my thirty million lets you hold your head high in front of me?"

His left hand slammed onto the nearby decorative rockery. His palm hit the rough surface,

causing a sting of pain, but he didn't pull back.

"Who do you think you are? Just an upstart who jumped out of a crack in a rock, a dog who climbed up by feasting on the Qian Family's corpse!"

Spittle flew from Chu Tianming's mouth, and a drop landed on the left sleeve of Qin Feng's suit jacket.

Qin Feng looked down at the wet spot.

Chu Tianming was still shouting.

"Do you even know who you've offended? The Chu Family! The Beijing Chu Family! We own half the energy industry chain in the north. What the hell are you, Qin Feng?"

"My brother is giving you face by inviting you for tea today! Anywhere else, you wouldn't even be able to get through the door!"

"Kneel down now, return the thirty million from last night, and hand over the keys to that Porsche 918 with both hands,"

"and I might consider asking my brother not to hold a grudge."

"Otherwise..."

Chu Tianming pointed his index finger at Qin Feng again.

This time, it almost poked his chest.

"You won't be able to survive in Jinling."

Chu Tianming's voice echoed through the courtyard.

Standing behind him, the frown on hydrangea's brow deepened by a millimeter.

Qin Feng hadn't moved an inch.

Despite everything Chu Tianming had said, he hadn't replied with a single word.

Chu Tianming's chest heaved violently, his open mouth still frozen in the shape of a roar.

Qin Feng looked at Chu Tianming and shrugged.

"Finished?"

Chu Tianming's mouth snapped shut.

Qin Feng pulled his right hand from his pocket, pinched the wet spot on his left sleeve with his thumb and forefinger, and gave it a light flick.

"Your breath stinks, in case you didn't know. Also, I don't talk to losers."

He stepped forward with his right foot and circled around Chu Tianming's left side.

He didn't touch him.

He didn't push him.

He didn't even look him in the eye.

He simply walked past him.
