195: Chapter 195 Ship Construction

"Stop playing dead!"

"If you can breathe, get in line!"

"The Matriarch's potions are not for you to lie there like corpses and slack off!"

A few Crew Members were scolded into silence, not daring to talk back; they climbed up and continued moving crates.

Shen He was steadier than him.

He personally led the core captains to hand over all the purple light orbs to the system storage of the "Many Children, Many Blessings".

As each batch of loot entered the storage, prompts flashed before Li Taiping.

[Obtained: Floating Thunder Crystal × 372]

[Obtained: Gravity Chain Fragment × 116]

[Obtained: Corrosive Black Rock × 901]

[Obtained: black tide Contamination Crystal × 48]

[Obtained: epic grade Material: Palace Vertical Pupil Fragment × 1]

[Obtained: Perfect Grade Blueprint: Floating Power Core Modification Plan × 1]

[Obtained: Perfect Grade Blueprint: Gravity Suppression Turret × 1]

[Obtained: Special Material: Broken Seal Chain × 9]

The prompts scrolled by very quickly; if it were any other Survivor, they would probably be laughing until they cramped.

Li Taiping, however, only glanced at them. The items were good, but he was in no mood to take inventory right now.

As for these strange and bizarre things, he would let Su Mei handle them—just process and upgrade them.

As for these two types of blueprints...

The Floating Power Core could grant the main ship short-term levitation capability, and the Gravity Suppression Turret could exert area suppression on low-rank fleets.

The seal chains and the black tide Contamination Crystal were likely related to the Survival Eerie Sea.

These were all important, but not as important as those words: Former Dynasty World.

Li Taiping closed the interface.

"Su Mei."

"I'm here."

Su Mei walked to his side.

Li Taiping said: "You handle the loot."

"Prioritize the Floating Power for the "Many Children, Many Blessings"."

"Build three Gravity Turrets first; don't rush to expand the core fleet."

"Seal the black tide Contamination Crystals, build a separate storage, and no one is allowed to touch them without my orders."

Su Mei nodded: "Understood."

She paused, then asked: "What about the Former Dynasty World?"

Li Taiping looked at her; Su Mei did not look away.

"This dungeon has no time limit, which means it won't rush you to enter."

"But it mentioned Su Jie and your future self."

"This is a hook."

"And the kind you can't refuse."

Li Taiping smiled.

"Why would I refuse?"

Su Mei's eyes flickered.

Li Taiping turned and walked toward the captain's quarters.

"If it wants me to go in, I'll go in."

"If it wants me to see something, I'll look."

"But who ends up being the chess piece—that's not certain."

When these words fell, everyone on the balcony went quiet.

Bing Yu muttered quietly: "That is the scariest part."

He Yushui picked up the melon seeds she had dropped earlier, thought for a moment, and then threw them into the trash can.

"Keep it clean, stay safe."

Yun Jinxin glanced at her.

"Is your focus a bit off?"

He Yushui said seriously: "We just finished fighting the black tide; let's have a bit of human touch."

Yun Jinxin: "That makes sense."

Li Taiping walked to the door and stopped.

"I'm going to rest."

"Handle other matters yourselves."

After saying that, he pushed the door open and entered the captain's quarters.

The door closed, and the thick soundproofing layer dropped.

The cheering, moving sounds, and mechanical operations outside were blocked.

Inside the room, only the sound of the wall clock remained.

Click.

Click.

Li Taiping stood in the darkness without turning on the lights.

He took out the black tide remnant key; the "tide" character on the surface of the key was still slowly seeping light.

Is the timeline messed up?

Or is the Former Dynasty World itself not bound by the time logic of the Survival World?

Or perhaps, that so-called future Li Taiping has already walked through it once?

"Fate?"

He whispered.

"Don't let me catch your hand."

Outside the captain's quarters.

Su Mei, He Yushui, Yun Jinxin, and Bing Yu gathered together.

The atmosphere was not much lighter than before.

He Yushui spoke first: "So, what should we do now?"

Bing Yu raised a paw: "I suggest we run away."

Yun Jinxin looked at her: "Run where?"

Bing Yu thought for a while: "Run to a place with no black tide, no dungeons, and no Li Taiping being targeted by fate."

He Yushui nodded: "Then you can take a nap first."

Bing Yu asked confusedly: "Why?"

He Yushui: "It's faster in your dreams."

Bing Yu: "..."
