201: Chapter 201 Anna's Sea

Li Taiping watched for a while and chuckled, "There are quite a few warnings."

Su Mei took his hand, "Take care."

She paused, "I believe in you."

Li Taiping squeezed her hand back.

"Wait for my return."

The next second, he stepped through the door, and the black-gold rift closed.

Outside the captain's cabin, only the sea breeze remained.

Su Mei stood where she was, unmoving.

He Yushui opened her mouth to speak but closed it again.

Bing Yu looked at Su Mei, then at the vanished door, and whispered softly.

"He should come back, right?"

Su Mei turned her head to look at her.

"It's not 'should', it's 'definitely'."

Bing Yu nodded immediately.

"Right, definitely."

Having lived a long time, she understood one thing well: at a time like this, never say the wrong thing, or it would be the death of this fox.

Meanwhile, in a more distant sea area.

The cruelty of the Survival World was beginning to reveal its true face.

Not every area had a Li Taiping, not every fleet had a Su Mei, and not everyone could lower their heads and wait for rescue when the black tide arrived.

In a certain grayish-white sea area, over a hundred broken ships floated on the surface; there were no living people on board, only desiccated corpses hanging from the masts.

Empty buckets and gnawed wooden boards were piled on the decks.

An area channel panel was still lit.

[Help... is anyone there...]

[I'm willing to trade all my resources for a bite to eat.]

[Don't lower your defenses; that person outside is not your teammate.]

[I can hear my mother calling me from the sea.]

[I'm jumping in. I'm sorry.]

After the last message, there was no more activity in the entire channel.

Another sea area.

A third-rank warship was burning. At the bow, a man knelt by the deck's edge, clutching a treasure chest.

Before him was a black sea, and behind him was the black tide.

He gave a couple of laughs.

"Ghosts ahead, the tide behind."

"This game is so thoughtful."

"It even chose a graveyard for me."

The next second...

The black water swept over.

The ship was gone, and the man was gone.

Such scenes were repeated in countless sea areas.

The strong survived, the lucky ones survived, and the rest died from hunger, pollution, monsters, betrayal, and the rules.

Nine out of ten were gone, perhaps even more.

The Survival World never had any mercy; it only filtered people. Only those remaining at the end were qualified to see the next sea.

But in one sea area, the atmosphere was clearly different.

In the Mofeng Mountain and Sea, black winds pressed against the silhouettes of mountains, which were reflected in the water. The sea was half ink-black and half grayish-blue.

In the distance, the fog of the Ghost Sea had already reached the border.

The two forces squeezed together, driving countless Survivors scattered across various areas in the same direction.

A large white-gold ship sailed on the sea, its sail adorned with a golden iris.

On the deck, every single person was a blonde, blue-eyed woman.

Their figures were more exaggerated than the last, and their armor more polished.

They held crossbows and stood by the gunwale, but their eyes kept glancing toward the bow.

At the bow.

Anna sat on a high-backed chair, wearing light white armor with her blonde hair draped over her shoulders. One hand rested on her slightly bulging belly, while the other propped up her chin.

Her eyes were sparkling.

"In other words..."

"In the next Ghost Sea, I'll be able to see my husband?"

A female Crew Member beside her whispered a reminder.

"Captain, we aren't certain that their area will definitely merge with ours."

Anna immediately looked at her.

"It will."

"Fate separated us."

"The Ghost Sea is responsible for sending us back."

The Crew Member fell silent. This sounded far from scientific, but coming from Anna's mouth, it was strangely persuasive.

Another female Crew Member looked at her belly and whispered, "Captain, are you really...?"

Anna looked down, her lips curling into a smile.

"Mhm."

"His child."

A collective gasp rose from the deck.

"Heavens."

"So we really have a Male Master now?"

"I always thought the Captain was lying to us."

"What kind of man could make the Captain miss him for so long?"

Anna lifted her chin.

"He is the strongest man in the world."

The female Crew Members exchanged glances, and someone couldn't help but laugh.

"Every woman in love says that."

Anna looked at her, "You don't believe me?"

The Crew Member immediately raised her hands, "I believe you, I absolutely believe you."

The first rule of the Survival World: never argue with a pregnant woman, especially one who can blow a sea monster's head off with a single shot.
