24: Chapter 24 Basic Fog Defogger

The Red-eyed Rabbit's burrow was not as dark or as large as imagined, and it also only had one exit.

Inside the burrow, apart from a wooden treasure chest, there were also two ordinary Moon-Gazing Sands that had the effects of brightening the eyes, enhancing vision, and detoxifying!

Qin Yun collected all of these into his space ring, then quickly left the burrow and sat on the electric vehicle at the entrance.

"Master, Xiaoxiao, Xiao Qi is going to speed up, please hold onto the electric vehicle."

The electric vehicle drove away from this area at a relatively fast speed.

It wasn't until they reached a relatively safe place that Qin Xiaoqi slowed down the vehicle and finally maintained a constant speed.

Cat Xiaoxiao continued to squat on the front of the vehicle, utilizing its sense of smell.

At this moment, Qin Yun also began to check the various items dropped by the five Red-eyed Rabbits.

2 ordinary blood essences!

1 energy stone!

39 copper coins!

1 water bag!

1 pair of ordinary rabbit fur stockings!

1 pair of ordinary rabbit fur gloves!

1 ordinary rabbit fur hat!

1 pair of ordinary rabbit fur underpants!

These rabbit fur garments were not simple; they all possessed the magical effect of being warm in winter and cool in summer, automatically cleaning stains, and keeping the body clean!

Not to mention being warm in winter and cool in summer, the automatic cleaning of stains to keep the body clean was extremely important at this moment!

Even Qin Yun, who possessed a primary water condenser, did not dare to use water to bathe or wash his hair, and only planned to wipe his body every once in a while, let alone the other Survivors.

It was estimated that they had to think carefully about how to use every single drop of water!

In this weather of over twenty degrees, combined with leaving the Highway every day to explore the wild, it was fine for two or three days, but if the water problem couldn't be solved for ten days or half a month, it would be miserable!

Let alone bathing, many would probably die of thirst!

Under such circumstances, rabbit fur garments that automatically clean stains and keep the body clean seemed quite important.

Qin Yun had already made up his mind; he wanted to kill more Red-eyed Rabbits and collect a full set as soon as possible!

"Xiao Qi, analyze where Red-eyed Rabbits are most likely to exist, then go and see if we can find them, provided we don't get too far from the Highway!"

"Understood, Master."

Subsequently, Qin Yun took the wooden treasure chest out of his space ring.

Just like the previous bronze treasure chest, it could hardly be destroyed, and it also required a wooden key or the consumption of energy to open.

The difference was that the wooden treasure chest only needed to consume 10 units of energy.

Qin Yun placed his hand on the wooden treasure chest and silently thought about opening it.

[Opening the wooden treasure chest requires consuming 10 units of energy. Do you want to open it?]

"Yes!"

The energy decreased by 10 units, the wooden treasure chest made a click, and the lid opened automatically.

[Opened the wooden treasure chest and obtained 1 device upgrade stone (primary)!]

Only one item was opened.

As expected, compared to the bronze treasure chest, the items obtained from the wooden treasure chest were slightly worse.

Even so, Qin Yun was still quite satisfied.

The function of the device upgrade stone (primary) was very simple; it could directly upgrade ordinary devices assembled on the vehicle into primary devices!

Qin Yun took the device upgrade stone out of the wooden treasure chest, then put the now ordinary chest into his space ring.

There was only one device upgrade stone. Which device should be upgraded?

"Xiao Qi, this is a device upgrade stone (primary). It can upgrade ordinary devices to primary devices. Which do you think is better to upgrade, the energy gathering gun or the ordinary fog dispeller?"

Qin Yun personally leaned towards upgrading the ordinary fog dispeller, but he still decided to ask for Qin Xiaoqi's opinion.

Even though he felt that Qin Xiaoqi would choose to upgrade the ordinary fog dispeller just like him.

"Master, Xiao Qi believes that in the current situation, upgrading the ordinary fog dispeller would be more appropriate."

"Why do you say that?" Qin Yun continued to ask.

"Because after the ordinary energy-gathering gun is upgraded to primary, Xiao Qi cannot determine whether the firing rate will become faster or slower. Secondly, although the power will definitely increase after the upgrade, the energy consumption will certainly be higher. The key is that the current power is already enough."

"Master, Xiao Qi feels that no matter how powerful a weapon is, if you can't see the enemy, it will become a mere decoration."

Qin Yun nodded.

He agreed with Qin Xiaoqi's statement.

Even though the energy consumption would also increase after the ordinary fog dispeller was upgraded to primary, the dispersion range would widen, allowing them to see further. This would also allow them to better find prey, or even treasure chests, and so on!

At the same time, it would also be safer!

Immediately, Qin Yun opened the vehicle section on the survivor panel and mentally clicked on the ordinary fog dispeller.

[Detected device upgrade stone (primary). Do you want to upgrade the ordinary fog dispeller?]

"Yes!"

With Qin Yun's confirmation, the device upgrade stone in his hand vanished into thin air.

A notification message came through.

[Upgrade complete. The ordinary fog dispeller has been upgraded to the primary fog disperser!]

No special effects at all, and it upgraded instantly?

Qin Yun's heart stirred, and he checked the upgraded primary fog disperser.

The range for dispersing dense fog changed from the previous fixed 300-meter radius to an adjustable 300-1000 meters!

The energy consumption also became 1-10 units per hour!

Qin Yun was very satisfied with this function of adjusting the dispersion intensity.

He looked at the front of the electric vehicle and said, "Xiao Qi, you should know the specific functions of the primary fog disperser now, right?"

"Master, after the upgrade was completed, Xiao Qi knew."

Upon hearing Qin Yun and Qin Xiaoqi say this, Cat Xiaoxiao hurriedly meowed to indicate that it didn't know yet.

"The upgraded fog disperser can disperse a radius of..."

Qin Yun explained the specific functions, then continued to say to Qin Xiaoqi, "Xiao Qi, disperse the dense fog within a radius of one kilometer in one minute. See if we can find any prey, and at the same time, be prepared to return to the Highway immediately!"

The dense fog was dispersed, and they could see further, but the beasts within this range could also see further and smell further!

Therefore, to prevent accidents, they must be prepared to return to the Highway at any time!

Qin Yun held Cat Xiaoxiao with one hand and gripped the iron frame under the back seat with the other, his eyes fixed on the direction of the downwind area.

"Master, Xiao Qi is going to increase the effect of the primary fog disperser!"

Just after finishing speaking, the dense fog three hundred meters away began to disappear rapidly, and visibility increased accordingly.

Qin Yun, who was staring closely at the downwind area, discovered a Red-eyed Rabbit at about six hundred meters, and then discovered another one at about eight hundred meters!

Within a radius of one kilometer, apart from these two Red-eyed Rabbits, there were no other beasts!

Without waiting for Qin Yun's reminder, Qin Xiaoqi increased the speed of the electric vehicle and drove towards the Red-eyed Rabbit in the downwind area.

At the same time, the ordinary energy-gathering gun on the front of the vehicle quickly aimed at the one furthest away!

The maximum attack range of the ordinary energy-gathering gun was three thousand meters!

The power within one thousand meters remained unchanged, and the power would begin to gradually decrease after that!

At this moment, Qin Yun also raised his right hand, brandishing the common rabbit tooth dagger he had taken out from the space ring.

He didn't know if it would have any effect at such a long distance, but he had to try!
