8: Chapter 8 The Eye of Insight

[User: "You guys might not believe it, but a big rabbit about 1.2 meters tall knocked itself out on the side of the Highway! Pictures or it didn't happen, I'm posting the video directly, video."]

After watching the video, Qin Yun was shocked.

In the region where he was located, he feared that it wasn't just him and this Survivor who had killed a Giant Rabbit!

If that was the case, how many Survivors across the hundreds of thousands of regions on Blue Star had killed a Giant Rabbit?

Fortunately, he had killed his earlier, otherwise, he would have missed out on the first-kill gift pack!

He continued to look at the regional communication channel.

[User: "Holy crap, brother, were you facing away from the Highway to take care of your business?"]

[User: "@User, it looked a bit eerie and terrifying outside, so I had to face away. I didn't expect a 'bang' sound that scared the heck out of me. By the way, is anyone selling pants..."]

[Great Sage Sun: "@User, thanks for sharing, brother. This information is too important. You're a good person."]

[Fitness Expert: "I'll also face away from the Highway to exercise and do push-ups from now on!"]

[User: "The Giant Rabbit outside the Highway: 'Are you here to take a dump?'"]

[User: "I found a bronze treasure chest, but I don't dare to go out and get it. [Image]"]

[Immortal Nangong: "There might be danger nearby. Not long ago, someone was bitten by a hidden venomous creature. I suggest ensuring safety before going out!"]

[User: "@Immortal Nangong, that's exactly why I don't dare to go out and get it. It took less than a minute for them to die from the poison, and they had to endure immense pain. It's too scary. Forget it, my life is more important. I don't want the treasure chest."]

[Immortal of the World: "@User, little brother, there is gain in giving. By giving up this bronze treasure chest, perhaps you will be able to get an even better one in the future."]

...

After watching the regional communication channel for a while and learning some information, Qin Yun took out his phone.

There were seven minutes left until midnight!

"Xiao Qi, can you charge this phone?"

The battery on the phone was already below 20%, and to carry more items, he had left his power bank behind on Blue Star.

"Master, it only takes 0.1 units of energy to instantly fully charge the phone. However, Xiao Qi suggests consuming energy to directly dismantle and fuse it. Even if it cannot inherit perfectly, it will allow the vehicle to have more functions while better preserving the information inside the phone."

Dismantle and fuse, thereby allowing the vehicle to have more functions?

You can operate it like this?

Qin Xiaoqi's suggestion surprised Qin Yun, and at the same time, it made him think of more.

In this way, doesn't it mean that he could artificially upgrade the vehicle?

However, it probably wouldn't be easy to upgrade, right?

After pondering for a moment, Qin Yun voiced his inner doubts.

"Master, it is indeed possible to manually upgrade the vehicle, but it is certainly not easy to achieve!"

Qin Yun nodded. It was indeed not easy to achieve!

After all, only by keeping the vehicle moving forward would the countdown on the survivor panel increase instead of decrease!

To modify and upgrade the vehicle, one must have enough time on the countdown.

Besides that, one also needs to understand knowledge in this area, have various tools, materials, and accessories on hand, and most importantly, ensure that the vehicle won't get damaged, and so on!

Ordinary damage can be repaired, but damage that isn't recognized by the survivor panel might mean it's game over!

Therefore, the intelligent core was far stronger than he had imagined!

Even so, Qin Yun didn't immediately have Qin Xiaoqi dismantle and fuse the phone.

Because midnight had arrived!

The infinite trait crystal deep in his consciousness bloomed with white light. The moment he discovered the trait was only of white grade, Qin Yun couldn't help but feel disappointed.

Probe?

No, it wasn't over yet!

The first time a trait is born, it will trigger a critical hit!

Qin Yun knew of this benefit through some mysterious intuition!

Then, the white light turned green, blue... gold!

The white critical hit became a golden legend!

Probe also became Eye of Insight!

The golden light vanished, and the introduction information regarding the Eye of Insight trait was transmitted.

It was very simple. As long as he equipped the Eye of Insight trait, then after focusing his attention and subjectively choosing to trigger it, he could obtain relevant basic information, and there was a relatively high probability of obtaining tips and suggestions!

This was equivalent to possessing a cheat code!

Qin Yun was very clear about how important this ability to obtain relevant basic information and even tips and suggestions was in the Global Survival World!

It was practically tailor-made!

Equip, equip it immediately!

Qin Yun couldn't wait to equip the Eye of Insight trait, then opened the survivor panel and focused his gaze on the countdown on the main interface.

Looking with his consciousness, that counts as a different kind of looking, right?

With a thought, he triggered the Eye of Insight trait!

Immediately, basic information regarding the countdown was transmitted, followed by tips and suggestions!

Basic information: The existence time of the Highway. When the countdown reaches zero, the Highway will disappear forever!

Tips and suggestions: As the vehicle moves forward on the Highway, the countdown will increase instead of decrease. It is recommended not to let the countdown reach zero. If it reaches zero and causes the Highway to disappear, then hurry up and seize the Highway of another Survivor, otherwise you will lose the survivor panel!

Qin Yun breathed a sigh of relief.

As long as it didn't directly kill the Survivor, that was fine!

And during this beginner adaptation period, the Highway was absolutely safe. That meant after it ended, the Highway could be seized!

Under what circumstances would it count as a successful seizure?

Killing the opponent, or destroying the opponent's vehicle?

Qin Yun shook his head, focused his gaze on the Highway, and triggered the Eye of Insight trait.

The basic information was very simple yet also very complex: the Highway was safe for the time being, but it could undergo various changes at any time!

The tip and suggestion were to let him make good use of the current Highway; perhaps there would be gains.

It was right; he had indeed made huge gains.

Next, Qin Yun looked at his electric vehicle.

Basic information: An electric vehicle with infinite possibilities!

Tips and suggestions: Please collect resources in advance and upgrade the electric vehicle as soon as possible. To upgrade the electric vehicle, you need to equip at least one common device, and you also need a vehicle blueprint (tricycle), a vehicle upgrade stone (tricycle), 300 units (kilograms) of any metal, 100 units of energy, and 100 copper coins!

The Eye of Insight trait is awesome!

In the vehicle category on the survivor panel, the upgrade button was wrapped in chains, belonging to a locked state, and he also didn't know what conditions were needed to upgrade the electric vehicle!

As a result, the tip and suggestion transmitted by the Eye of Insight trait directly told him!

In this way, he could collect them in advance!

Although he still didn't know what a vehicle blueprint and a vehicle upgrade stone were, at least he had a clear goal!

It was worthy of being a unique reward, and worthy of being a golden-grade trait!

Qin Yun began to let his thoughts wander.

He could use the Eye of Insight trait to know the information about the Giant Rabbit, and he could also know what items would drop...

Other Survivors didn't know, but he could know. Couldn't he provide paid identification services to earn resources?
