43: Chapter 43 Pranks
It was April.
Even though he was already a superhero with millions of fans, he still had to go to school, dammit.
He really hated this place sometimes.
Walking through the school gates on Monday morning, he let out an annoyed sigh. As soon as he looked up, he saw Harry Osborn and Flash chatting up some cheerleaders, while Liz Allan and Mary Jane glared at them from the other end of the hallway.
He remembered that Liz Allan and Mary Jane had finally broken up with those two idiots.
"Look at those two," Liz Allan said, glaring fiercely at Flash.
"Forget it, Liz," Mary Jane said, closing her locker with a sigh. "They aren't worth it."
"They really aren't," Felicia said, suddenly walking up to them.
Ever since Liz Allan and Mary Jane dumped those two morons, Felicia had decided to try making friends over the past month. Winning over Liz Allan was actually quite simple; it just required chatting about fashion and roasting Flash in public a few times.
"Hey, girls," Peter said, waving at them.
"Hey, Peter," Mary Jane smiled.
"What do you want, Parker?" Liz Allan huffed.
Right, she still didn't like him. He couldn't figure out why.
"Just coming to say hi to my best girlfriend." Peter turned to Felicia and planted a loving kiss on her cheek. "How are you, Kitten?"
"Doing great, Tiger," Felicia said with a smile. "Liz Allan and Mary Jane were just planning to get revenge later today by pouring itching powder into their exes' pants."
"Hey! I only told you that because I trusted you!" Liz Allan exclaimed.
"Relax, Liz. I fully support any plan that makes Osborn and Flash miserable. Do you need help?"
Liz Allan raised an eyebrow. "You're willing to help?"
Peter nodded. "Yeah, I can mix you up some extra-strength itching powder. Hmm... or better yet, make it an aerosol solvent, a spray. That should work; it'll seep into the skin and won't wash off." His brain automatically started running, constructing the formula.
"Peter? Peter? Are you okay?" Mary Jane asked worriedly.
"He's fine, just let him zone out for a bit, Red," Felicia shrugged. "He gets like this every time a new project pops into his head... he spaces out."
"He does this often?" Liz Allan asked.
"You have no idea," Felicia lamented. "One night we were on the top of the Empire State Building, the mood was perfect, and he suddenly just—zoned out! Right there!"
"Wait, the top of the Empire State Building?" Mary Jane's voice grew a bit suspicious.
"Ah, my mom got hold of some passes, the super exclusive kind," Felicia quickly made up a lie. "So... yeah."
"Wow, that's so cool!" Liz Allan's eyes lit up. "Can your mom get some for us too?"
"That... was a one-time favor... I'll ask her later." Felicia brushed it off.
"Got it!" Peter suddenly roared, startling the three girls. He immediately pulled out his notebook to write down the formula. "Liz, are you sure you want to make them itch like crazy?"
"Obviously." Liz Allan stared at the dense chemical reaction formulas in his notebook, looking curious.
"Then Osborn and Flash can just wait to experience what a hell of itching is like!" Peter grinned. "I can make it before lunch! See you girls then!" With that, he dashed off to his first chemistry class.
"Felicia, sometimes I'm really envious that you have such a devoted boyfriend," Liz Allan said in a flat tone. "But other times... he's just a nerd."
"Who's to say he isn't? But he's my nerd." Felicia smiled smugly, and the three of them went off to their respective classes.
At lunchtime, Peter whipped up the itching spray and met up with the girls.
Felicia kissed him on the cheek. "Hey, Tiger, what's that in your hand?"
He held up a small spray bottle with a smug look. "Behold, this is the itching spray! Double the itch, three times as hard to wash off! The ultimate artifact to make your exes miserable! Or you can use it to prank school bullies too!"
Liz Allan raised her eyebrows, quite surprised. "Wow, that was fast."
"That's me!" Peter laughed. "I'm just that good."
"So when do you two plan on making your move?" Felicia asked.
"Haven't decided yet," Mary Jane shrugged. "To be honest, I'm a bit too lazy to bother."
"No way! We have to do it!" Liz Allan glared fiercely at Flash, who was over there flirting with a blonde cheerleader who looked remarkably like her. "It's totally worth it."
"Sigh, fine. But not today. We have to do our Spanish homework with Jean." Mary Jane sighed.
"Oh... right, forgot about that." Liz Allan looked a bit deflated. "Fine, we'll make their lives miserable tomorrow."
"You might need to do something harsher. Itching powder is, at best... harassment level." Felicia shrugged.
"What would you do if it were you?" Liz Allan asked.
"You mean how I'd deal with Peter if he dared to cheat?" Felicia asked back. Liz Allan nodded.
Felicia smiled. "He wouldn't."
"How are you so sure?" Mary Jane asked curiously.
"Simple," Peter chimed in, putting on a smug, punchable expression. "I'm just that perfect."
Felicia rolled her eyes. "No, because if you dared to, I'd reveal your secret to the whole world."
Peter's eyes widened. "You wouldn't... holy crap, you're serious. Everything?"
Felicia nodded. "Everything."
Peter swallowed hard. "Alright, Kitten, you're really ruthless."
"Yep, so you'd better not even think about it, mister." She kissed him on the face. "You belong entirely to me."
"Wait, wait, wait, what secret? What kind of dirty little secret could Parker possibly have?" Liz Allan pressed.
"Secrets are secrets for a reason, Liz." Peter rolled his eyes.
"He's right," Felicia agreed with a smile. "So unless he's stupid enough that I can't forgive him, my lips are sealed."
Liz Allan sighed. "Ugh, I hate you both. Too perfect, it's annoying."
"Thanks for the compliment." Peter and Felicia said in unison.
Mary Jane burst out laughing, while Liz Allan continued to grumble on the side.
After school, Liz Allan drove the car she got for her birthday, taking the four of them home. Ever since she got the car, she showed it off to everyone she met.
When they arrived at her place, the four of them got out of the car.
"Are you coming in?" Mary Jane asked, pointing toward her own home.
"No, Aunt May and Uncle Ben are waiting for me," Peter declined. "I figured Felicia should spend more time with them too."
"Bringing a girl home already, Parker?" Liz Allan raised an eyebrow. "Don't you think things are moving too fast?"
"What are you talking about? I met them months ago." Felicia laughed out loud.
"What?!" Mary Jane and Liz Allan exclaimed at the same time.
"Yeah, about a month, right, Kitten?"
"Yeah, that sounds right." Felicia nodded.
"Oh my god," Liz Allan's eyes widened, and she suddenly smirked. "When's the wedding?"
Peter and Felicia both blushed.
"Ahem, don't you guys have things to do?" Peter stammered, trying to change the subject.
"Let's go, Liz, quit teasing them." Mary Jane said, though her face wore a teasing smile.
"But Mary Jane! I want to tease them a bit more!"
"I didn't say we couldn't tease them later," Mary Jane said. "Let them catch their breath first. Besides, we really need to finish our homework; Jean will be here soon."
Liz Allan rolled her eyes. "Fine, fine, the damn Spanish report. See you two later! Parker, don't get her pregnant!"
Felicia sighed deeply. "God, she's such a handful."
Peter smiled and took her hand. "Who's to say she isn't? Let's go, Kitten."
The two arrived home, and Peter opened the door with a spare key, inviting Felicia inside.
Felicia looked around and found the house empty, not a soul in sight.
"Tiger, are your aunt and uncle out?"
"Yeah, they went upstate for a friend's wedding." Peter tossed his bag aside, pushed Felicia onto the sofa, and climbed on top of her. "So, it's just you and me here."
The surprise in Felicia's eyes quickly turned into burning desire, and the scent of maple syrup wafted toward his nose.
"So, Mr. Parker, do you have any plans for today?"
"Ms. Hardy, I only have one plan." He leaned down and whispered into her ear. "To make sure that when you go home, you're covered in marks that belong to me."
"That sounds like fun." Felicia grinned, grabbed his jacket collar, pulled him down, and bit into his neck. "Let me start first."
"In your dreams!" Peter hissed, his palms firmly cupping her glutes, and he bit precisely onto her chest through her clothes. Judging by her sharp intake of breath, he had hit the mark. He grinned and continued his assault.
The two quickly stripped each other of their clothes. Before long, Peter was shirtless.
"Upstairs?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, the sofa really isn't the place for this." Felicia agreed, her fingers reaching for the button of his jeans. "You know, when I told the girls about you, they didn't believe me at all."
"Huh? What did you tell them?"
"I told them how big you are." Felicia smirked, her fingers hooking into the waistband of his pants, pulling them down slowly, her fingertips brushing lightly against the edge of his underwear. "I told them that once you get in bed, you turn into a different person, like a starving little wild Beast, completely unlike that calm, reserved guy you usually are."
"I'm not that—" Before Peter could finish, the front door was suddenly kicked open, and several people barged in.
"Peter! We need your help!" Mary Jane's voice was panicked and urgent.
Peter and Felicia both looked up at the same time.
Mary Jane and Liz Allan stumbled in, supporting a red-haired girl. The girl was a head shorter than them, her shoulders hunched, looking in pain and terrified, her hands clutching her head tightly.
"What's going on—" Mary Jane stopped mid-sentence as she saw the two of them on the sofa and shrieked. "Peter! What are you two doing?!"
Peter gritted his teeth. "I was just trying to get intimate with my girlfriend." He glared at them. "And then I got interrupted."
"'Just trying' is the key part." Felicia sighed, grabbed her shirt, and buttoned it up. "Why are you here?"
"We need your help." Liz Allan supported the red-haired girl. "Jean suddenly started getting a headache, and it won't stop! We don't know what to do!"
Peter raised an eyebrow. "Did you call an ambulance?"
"No, Peter, something's wrong." Mary Jane's tone was almost pleading. "She says there are people talking in her head... and... something is moving."
"Moving? How moving?"
"It's fucking floating!" Liz Allan shouted, losing all composure. "It's floating on its own! I think she might be possessed or something!"
