72: S-level treatment

At Dean Hu's signal, the Recruitment Officer began to introduce the benefits to Shi Li.

Qingchuan University also offered A-Level benefits.

In terms of teaching and welfare, it was basically the same as Jiangnan University.

However, it should be known that Qingchuan University's teaching resources are definitely superior to Jiangnan University's.

So, while it appeared to be the same treatment on the surface, Qingchuan University was undoubtedly better in reality.

What surprised Shi Li the most was the scholarship.

Jiangnan University offered him 600,000, while Qingchuan offered an astonishing 1,000,000.

Considering that enrolling in a provincial key university comes with a 100,000 national subsidy, and a national key university comes with 200,000.

That meant Qingchuan offered a full 500,000 more than Jiangnan.

This extra amount was almost equivalent to the bonus from an additional A-Level benefit.

In addition, Qingchuan University also had a score reduction clause.

Based on the reduced score line, even without the extra points from Card Resonance, Shi Li would still have a good chance of getting in.

“Furthermore, we will provide an upgradeable agreement,” Dean Hu added after the Recruitment Officer finished speaking.

“Upgradeable?”

“That's right. If you can complete a certain task objective in your first semester, you can upgrade from A-Level to S-Level benefits.

And the additional bonus will also increase accordingly.

The current offer is 1,000,000, and if you achieve it, it will increase to 2,000,000.”

“?!” x2

The first to react to these words were the two Recruitment Officers.

Dean Hu had not mentioned this clause during their previous internal discussions!

It should be noted that the difference between S-Level and A-Level benefits was not only reflected in the bonus.

The allocation of educational resources would also be significantly increased.

Furthermore, material cards, token cards, and prop cards would be regularly distributed.

Most importantly, such benefit upgrade clauses generally required approval at the Dean level.

And each Dean could only apply for one quota per year at most.

This meant that Dean Hu intended to use her quota on this student.

“What is the task objective?”

However, in response to Shi Li's question, Dean Hu merely smiled without speaking.

The meaning was clear: everything would be discussed once he was truly able to enroll.

“Then what are the conditions required by the agreement?”

While Qingchuan University's agreement was excellent, Shi Li knew that there must be corresponding terms and conditions.

It wouldn't be surprising if they were even more stringent than Jiangnan University's.

For example, requiring him to achieve two-system or three-system Card Resonance before enrollment.

But if that were truly the case, Shi Li would have no choice but to reluctantly choose Jiangnan University.

After all, no matter how grand the promise, you had to be able to actually achieve it.

“I want you to win first place in the entire province in the College Entrance Examination Card Game,” Dean Hu said slowly.

“First place in the entire province?”

Shi Li was surprised by this answer.

Just as the College Entrance Examination questions vary by province, so too do the Card Game duels.

The College Entrance Examination Card Game in each province is only conducted among students within that province.

So Dean Hu's request was equivalent to asking him to become the top scorer in the College Entrance Examination.

Compared to achieving Card Resonance, Shi Li thought this condition seemed even more difficult to achieve.

After all, there were still B-Level Contract holders like Ouyang Huan with Platinum 3 in the province, and his deck strength still had a clear gap compared to theirs.

“Why choose me?”

Then Shi Li raised his question.

Because from a normal perspective, schools should place more importance on Card Resonance.

Card Resonance represents potential, and who would be willing to spend so much to cultivate a student without potential?

Yet now, Qingchuan University not only didn't require Card Resonance but also offered such generous benefits.

Of course, Shi Li knew that he was not unable to achieve resonance.

But this was his personal secret, which he never intended to tell anyone.

Therefore, he could better understand the threshold set by Jiangnan University.

“Since you ask, I'll be straightforward,” Dean Hu seemed to have anticipated his question.

“I have carefully reviewed your resume.

Firstly, although you are a C-Level Contract holder at Show Card Hall, you definitely won't be able to get into their Show University.

Because three-system Card Resonance, Platinum rank, and a B-Level cultivation contract.

These three are the rigid thresholds jointly set by the five great Card Halls, and not one can be missing.”

“I haven't achieved any of them,” Shi Li spread his hands.

“Ouyang Huan will most likely enter Li Brand University, so there's not much point in us trying to get him.

And do you know how long it took him to go from signing with Li Card Hall to being promoted to a B-Level contract?”

“How long?”

“Two years, and it took him ten months to go from a D-Level contract to a C-Level Contract.

The contract holders in Jiangnan Province's current third year of high school took even longer than that.”

“That long, huh.”

Shi Li counted carefully; it seemed to have only taken him a little over two months to go from a D-Level contract to a C-Level Contract.

“So what I value is your growth speed.

Even without Card Resonance, it doesn't matter. If you want to improve your deck strength, investing enough resources can achieve the same effect.

You hold two Unique Character Cards with Characteristics, which provides the foundation for resource investment.

Of course, a foundation alone is not enough; your subsequent performance will also be important.”

“I see.”

Shi Li nodded.

Whether from the benefits offered or from the conversations on both sides.

It was clear that Qingchuan University valued him more.

“Student Shi Li, Dean Hu thinks highly of you.

She went against all dissenting opinions to use her 'Priority Selection Right' on you.”

“That's right, Dayuan University wasn't sincere.

They only chose you after seeing us choose you.”

Seeing him deep in thought, the two Recruitment Officers added fuel to the fire.

“No need to say such things, it's meaningless.”

Dean Hu ostensibly stopped them, but her gaze towards them contained hidden approval.

“You don't have to rush to agree; you can first go and see what benefits Dayuan will offer,” she said to Shi Li with a smile.

…

Shi Li was silent for a moment, but when he spoke again, it was unexpected.

“Dean Hu, I am willing to sign with Qingchuan University.”

“Good.”

Dean Hu smiled slightly, feeling a sense of relief.

As the saying goes, it's good to shop around. If Shi Li wanted to go and see Dayuan first, she would have considered it perfectly reasonable.

But this way, it made her even more satisfied with this student.

She, representing Qingchuan University, had shown ample sincerity, and the other party responded with sincerity.

This was very good.

Thus, the two parties signed the agreement smoothly.

“Don't worry, just go and see Dayuan.

If any of their offers are higher than Qingchuan's, I'll personally cover the difference for you.”

Clearly, Dean Hu believed that Dayuan could not possibly offer better benefits, no matter what.

Because Qingchuan had a stronger motivation.

“Since you are Principal Su's student, take this set of cards back and rub some Characteristics into them.”

After speaking, she tossed several material cards in front of Shi Li.

Regardless of whether the agreement could ultimately be completed, this was purely a welcoming gift from an elder who found a junior pleasing.
