53: Chapter 53 You Take on Our Whole Group by Your Own

A few more arrows shot out from the rear, killing the crippled Kobolds beside Kulu.

For a moment, only the lonely Kulu remained on the battlefield.

However, Kulu had long understood the fate of his subordinates.

It was better to have their lives ended instantly by an arrow; at least they wouldn't have to face the torture of these insidious enemies.

In Kulu's eyes, the elves were now synonymous with devils.

Just as insidious, without a shred of warrior spirit.

Seeing that the clearing was complete, Thranduil said with a calm expression,

"Go! Be careful... don't get hurt!"

Hearing Thranduil's command, the members of the Elf Squad were instantly invigorated.

Before their thoughts could even catch up, their bodies were already unconsciously following behind their captain, rushing forward quickly.

Looking at the Tier-3 Kobold not far away, there was not a trace of fear on their faces.

"Remember, absolutely do not meet his mace attack head-on; we cannot withstand the strength of a Tier-3 Kobold."

Although the captain of the Elf Squad was also in high spirits, he still did not forget to whisper a reminder to the members beside him,

especially reminding the reckless Elder.

Upon being reminded, Elder nodded repeatedly after hearing the captain's words.

Although Elder was very eager to face a Tier-3, he also cherished his own life.

He was just a bit reckless in personality, but he was certainly not an idiot.

But the eager look in Elder's eyes made the captain doubt this.

However, at this critical juncture, he couldn't stop to lecture him.

He trusted that Elder's clever nature would protect his own life.

Seeing that the enemy's arrows stopped attacking him after the clearing was finished, Kulu felt a secret joy in his heart.

He thought this group of little things finally had some warrior spirit and was going to send a representative to duel him.

Kulu carried that heavy mace and walked slowly to an open area in front.

He panted slightly, beginning to recover his stamina.

He tried his best to adjust his state to have a warrior's duel with the other side!

However, when Kulu saw the other side suddenly split into three squads and rush towards him with excited faces,

the slight good impression he had just developed for the elves vanished instantly.

His calm expression, which had already looked past life and death, was broken, and it instantly turned gloomy.

"As expected, a bunch of despicable outsiders, with not a shred of the warrior spirit from our Kobold homeland..."

Although Kulu saw that those rushing towards him were all Tier-2 little things,

but he was a "wise" existence among the Kobolds, so he could not underestimate the enemy.

Kulu would not admit that he had also suddenly become a bit afraid of death.

Seeing the enemies hadn't reached him yet, Kulu hurriedly prepared a defensive stance.

Kulu thought that even if he died, he would take a few enemies with him; otherwise, it would be too stifling.

Over two hundred elite Kobolds had rushed here with him; he hoped they wouldn't just have a one-day tour of the battlefield and all be wiped out.

Kulu bent his legs slightly, lowering his center of gravity.

He held the mace horizontally in front of him, the muscles on his thick arms tensed.

Ready at any moment to land a hammer blow on the head of the little things opposite.

Thinking of the little things getting their heads smashed until blood splattered everywhere, Kulu felt his blood boil.

The three squads, totaling 15 elves, did not rush to attack after approaching Kulu.

Instead, they adopted wolf-pack tactics, tightly surrounding this Tier-3 Kobold in the center.

Suddenly being stared at by more than a dozen pairs of enthusiastic eyes, Kulu's expression looked a bit unnatural.

"Brothers, I don't swing that way..."

This kind of hot gaze was like they wanted to eat him alive.

These outsiders have such heavy tastes.

Although the elves were excited, the moment they surrounded Kulu, their eyes began to sharpen, wanting to find a flaw in the Tier-3 enemy before them.

Moving with light steps, they began to slowly circle around Kulu.

For a time, the battlefield fell into an eerie silence, with only the light, rhythmic rustling of the elves' footsteps echoing.

Watching these little things circling him like annoying flies, although Kulu really wanted to smash them to death, he did not take the initiative to attack.

Kulu knew clearly that he was not in his prime state. It was just as well that they didn't attack; taking advantage of this time, he could catch his breath a few more times and recover his stamina.

But before he could secretly rejoice for long, two sharp arrows shot towards his head from a distance.

They even came with a whooshing sound effect; as soon as Kulu heard it, he knew the arrows carried great power.

Crucially, of these two arrows, one shot towards his crotch, and the other aimed at his handsome face.

"Damn it... I knew it wouldn't be that simple!"

Kulu roared angrily at the elves circling him, intimidating them not to try to sneak attack him,

and then violently swung the mace in his hand, quickly knocking the two arrows away.

After knocking the two arrows away, Kulu quickly brought his mace back to defend his vitals, to prevent these little things around him from suddenly attacking.

Although knocking away the two arrows didn't cost much stamina, the operation scared him quite a bit.

His heart was still pounding; it turned out he wasn't as indifferent to life and death as he thought.

Now Kulu's breathing rhythm had been slightly disrupted, and his chest, which had calmed down, began to heave violently.

"This group of little things... circling around me for so long and still not attacking?"

Kulu was also a bit puzzled. Just now was a good opportunity to sneak attack him, yet they didn't make a move?

Kulu stared intently at the elves, wondering what exactly they were playing at.

This doubt didn't last long; when the elves had circled him three more times, Kulu finally understood.

Five cold arrows shot towards him with a whoosh, from top to bottom... every part of Kulu's body was taken care of.

"I shouldn't have opened my big mouth..." Kulu immediately complained to himself.

Kulu's guess was right. Just as he prepared to knock these arrows away, the elves surrounding him also took action.

Except for two Swordsmen who remained vigilant, the other four elven Swordsmen lifted their shields to protect themselves, and then thrust their longswords out from the side of their shields, rapidly stabbing towards Kulu's head.

With five arrow attacks, plus the sneak attack of four longswords, and other elves seemingly staring at him, eager to try, Kulu couldn't help but feel his scalp tingle.

Goodbye, Mother, today... I am going on a long voyage.
