55: Chapter 55 The Last Enemy

After taking down this Tier-3 Kobold, the squad leader patted Elder on the shoulder and praised him, "You're a smart kid; you deserve the most credit this time."

Although he knew Elder had a reckless personality, he hadn't expected the boy's intuition for seizing opportunities to be so sharp. This was the advantage of a superior race.

Upon hearing Thranduil's command, the Elves showed a hint of solemnity on their faces. Everyone would have a chance to act; it seemed the enemies coming this time were very powerful.

With their well-cultivated military discipline, the Elves quickly responded to Thranduil's command.

The Spearmen and Swordsmen rapidly formed a mixed formation, while the Great Shield Bearers continued to stand silently at the front of the formation, forming the Elves' first line of defense.

The archers also secretly adjusted their breathing, striving to kill as many as possible in one go; even if they died, it would be worth it.

When the transparent barrier blocking the monster army vanished, the five Tier-3 monsters standing proudly at the front of the monster army immediately let out excited roars, having broken free from their restraints.

Tier-2 monsters made up a large portion of the remaining monster army. Under their maintenance, the Tier-1 minions all stood behind their commanders with clear eyes.

Lin Ye looked at the tidal wave of monsters in the distance; the disparity in numbers compared to the Elves was a bit large.

Angel's current Tier-3 amplification spell was no longer quite enough.

A dazzling light burst forth from Lin Ye's palm and then wrapped around the Elves' bodies at extreme speed.

The Elves immediately felt a force... even more potent than that boosted by the High Priest, emerging from within their bodies.

In this test, candidates were allowed to use some auxiliary divine arts, though Lin Hai had placed some restrictions on them.

For instance, if other students also wanted to participate in the battle, the strength and attributes displayed by the candidate's avatar could not exceed the highest attributes of their own participating Believers.
