210: Chapter 210 The Beginning of the Heavenly Court

Ten thousand years passed in the blink of an eye.

At the foot of Mount Buzhou, within the Small World specifically opened for this meeting, shadows of people were already bustling about.

Countless Grand Unity Golden Immortals and quasi-Saint powerhouses had arrived early, some in groups of three or five, others occupying their own cloud platforms, discussing the deep significance of this grand gathering.

The space was permeated with powerful fluctuations of Law, and the Auras of various Innate Spirit Treasures were faintly intertwined, yet they were restrained and did not erupt.

"I hope, I hope we can leave safely this time."

"The Two Sages of the West have wreaked havoc on the Primordial World for countless years; they can finally be restricted..."

"Shh, keep your voice down. The Saints are omnipresent."

Just as everyone was discussing heatedly, suddenly, purple Qi surged from the east for thirty thousand miles, dyeing the entire Small World in a misty purple hue.

The sounds of discussion ceased instantly, and all the Grand Unity Golden Immortals and quasi-Saints looked up simultaneously, their expressions grave.

They understood that the Saints had arrived.

Immediately after, the Void Realm rippled like water, and a massive spatial portal silently opened.

Seven Heavenly Dao Saints, along with one entity of an independent Hunyuan fruit position, descended upon this Small World in a grand procession, bringing their respective Disciples, family members, subordinates, and clansmen.

On the square below, countless Grand Unity Golden Immortals and quasi-Saint powerhouses bowed in unison, cupping their hands in salute, their voices uniform and resonant, echoing throughout the entire Small World:

"Greetings, Grand Supreme Laozi!"

"Greetings, Yuanshi Tianzun!"

"Greetings, Shangqing Saint!"

"Greetings, Nüwa!"

"Greetings, Zhunti Saint!"

"Greetings, Jieyin Saint!"

"Greetings, Heavenly Emperor Haotian!"

"Greetings, Ancestor Fuxi!"

"Greetings, Heavenly Emperor Shi Yan!"

The Saints and the Hunyuan stood high in the air, not immediately responding to the salutes below, but instead looking at each other, their gazes intertwining as if invisible thunder were colliding.

Haotian, dressed in a purple-gold imperial robe and wearing the Ping Tian Crown, stood in the center, his expression solemn and dignified, fully displaying the bearing of a Heavenly Emperor.

Grand Supreme Laozi rode a green ox, his face expressionless, as if he had only come to go through the motions.

Nüwa possessed peerless beauty, her gaze as calm as an ancient, undisturbed well.

Yuanshi Tianzun and the Shangqing Sect Leader Tongtian clearly carried a sense of mockery and ridicule, their gazes cast without concealment toward the direction of the Two Sages of the West.

In Fuxi's eyes, the phantom of the Innate Bagua slowly rotated, scrutinizing every Saint present, as if wanting to see through everyone's trump cards.

As for the "defendants," the Two Sages of the West, Jieyin looked sorrowful, and Zhunti appeared calm, but the trace of resentment deep in his eyes could not be hidden from the gazes of others who were also Saints or Hunyuan.

The Two Sages of the West were the first to cold-snort. Zhunti flicked his robe sleeve, and with his Western Sect Disciples, Buddhas, Golden Immortals, and others, landed directly on a high platform opposite the square, their Auras faintly opposing the others.

Seeing this, the other Saints also descended with their Disciples one after another.

It was just that their landing spots were all on the side closer to the Grand Unity Golden Immortals and quasi-Saint powerhouses, forming a distinct, clear-cut confrontation with the Two Sages of the West.

Shi Yan and Fuxi stood side by side, the Luck of the Human Race faintly condensing into a mysterious yellow light, steadily occupying a place.

Incarnations such as Human Emperor Xuanyuan, Chiyou, and Cangjie followed behind, their expressions composed.

Once everyone had settled, Haotian stepped forward, his voice like a great bell, resounding through every corner of the Small World:

"Today, I, the Heavenly Emperor of the Heavenly Court, have summoned the great powers of the Primordial World to discuss the matter of the Two Sages of the West wantonly converting Primordial living beings."

"This matter concerns the balance of the Primordial World and the trend of the Quantal Calamity; you may all speak freely. I guarantee as a Heavenly Dao Saint and Heavenly Emperor of the Heavenly Court—whatever is said today, I will absolutely not allow any party to retaliate in secret afterward!"

As his voice fell, the entire place fell silent.

Zhunti finally could not hold back, and he spoke with a hint of coldness:

"Fellow Daoist Haotian, this is incorrect. My Western Sect's conversion of living beings is an act of universal salvation and great Karma; where does the word 'wantonly' come from?"

The Daoist Jieyin chanted a low Sanskrit sound and said sorrowfully: "The Western Sect's conversion of living beings... benefits the Primordial World."

The Sect Leader Tongtian laughed upon hearing this:

"Hahaha! What a 'universal salvation'! Then why does your Western Sect specifically target races with prosperous Luck and great potential? It is clearly to seize the Primordial World's Luck under the guise of conversion!"

Yuanshi Tianzun sneered: "The Western Sect has always been unscrupulous in its actions. Today, in front of all the living beings of the Primordial World, it is the perfect time to make things clear."

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

Nüwa frowned slightly, while Grand Supreme Laozi remained with his eyes closed, as if it had nothing to do with him.

Haotian swept his gaze across the entire venue and said in a deep voice: "Fellow Daoists, you all have your own views, so why not state them one by one? Today's meeting is to give the Primordial World a public verdict!"

The Grand Unity Golden Immortals and quasi-Saints below looked at each other; some were eager to try, but they were wary of the status of the Two Sages of the West and did not dare to be the first to attack.

Shi Yan stood at the Human Race seating area, a playful arc curling at the corner of his mouth. He exchanged a look with Fuxi and transmitted his voice: "The good show has begun. Let them bite each other like dogs first; we shall just watch the show."

Fuxi nodded slightly, the Bagua in his eyes rotating faster, as if he had already begun to deduce the aftermath of this situation.

Seeing there was no one willing to stick their neck out.

Haotian understood; fearing the great power of the Saints, only a reckless fool would dare to go first.

He exchanged a look with Venus Star beside him and nodded.

Venus Star understood Haotian's intention.

He then stepped forward: "Since everyone fears the great power of the Saints and dares not take the lead, then let my Heavenly Court make a good start!"

As he finished speaking, he opened his palm, and a golden, resplendent petition scroll in his hand suddenly unfurled, transforming into a massive screen of light that hovered in the center of the high sky.

Above, the densely packed Daoist scripts written by the living beings of the South each stroke carried endless resentment and unwillingness.

The evidence was conclusive, with names and surnames, times and locations, and even included the Primordial Spirit imprints of some of the involved living beings as testimony.

The entire Small World fell into dead silence instantly.

Zhunti and Jieyin's expressions suddenly stiffened, the corners of their mouths that had just been slightly raised instantly froze, and the resentment deep in his eyes was like boiling magma, yet it was forcibly suppressed.

"...Deceiving people too much!" Zhunti spat out the four words coldly, the palm inside his robe sleeve trembling slightly, and the Disciples of the Western Sect were even more shocked and angry.

The other Saints had different expressions.

Yuanshi Tianzun stroked his beard and sneered, the mockery in his eyes growing deeper.

The Sect Leader Tongtian slapped the table and laughed, not concealing his pleasure:

"Hahaha! What a Heavenly Court! Today, someone finally dared to poke through this layer of window paper!"

At this moment, countless Grand Unity Golden Immortals and quasi-Saint powerhouses finally could not help but stir.

"They actually... really brought the Saints' affairs to the table?"

"Is the Heavenly Court really going to restrict the Two Sages of the West by taking the lead?"

Whispers spread like ripples, and the atmosphere that had been silent due to the fear of the Saints' pressure finally began to loosen. Some had flickering gazes, some secretly clenched their fists, and some daring quasi-Saints quietly looked up, staring directly at the Two Sages of the West, with anger faintly burning in their eyes.

Shi Yan stood at the Human Race seating area, a playful arc curling at the corner of his mouth.

Chiyou's excited voice came through transmission: "Hahahaha!"

"This move by the Heavenly Court is beautiful. Finally, someone has made the Saints' dirty deeds public; I've long found those bald donkeys of the West to be an eyesore."

Zhunti finally could not hold back and stepped forward, his voice cold as a blade, his gaze piercing directly at Venus Star and Haotian: "Fellow Daoist Haotian, is this... petition of yours, authentic? These so-called 'evidences,' wouldn't they be someone acting in the dark, wanting to frame my Western Sect!"

"How could that be?"

"The Heavenly Court is the orthodoxy of the Primordial Heavenly Dao, and every word and action is supervised by the Heavenly Dao; how could it engage in framing others?"

"Fellow Daoist Zhunti, this petition is authentic!!"

Haotian's expression was majestic, and he responded to Zhunti's words with a solemn tone.
