258: Zhang Huahu became a Buddha; the difference between Buddha and demon is but a thought.

Above the firmament, beyond the thirty-three heavens, in the Eight Views Palace, the phantom of the Grand Supreme Elder Lord manifested. His gaze fell upon a Daoist present, and he spoke leisurely:

"Nephew Duobao, have you still not thought this through? Given the current situation, going to the West is the best choice for you."

The Grand Supreme Elder Lord spoke slowly. Currently, he indeed could not enter the Primordial World; the suppression from the Heavenly Dao was simply too formidable. However, coming here to speak a few words to Duobao was something he could manage.

At this moment, Daoist Duobao's face was filled with melancholy and helplessness, and he said in a deep voice:

"Must it really be like this? But why does it have to be me? I really do not want to join the West."

Daoist Duobao spoke slowly, feeling extremely helpless.

There were so many Disciples of the Jie Sect; why did it have to be a Personal Disciple who went to the West to become the so-called Sect Head of the future Buddhism after the Western Sect's reform?

Furthermore, with Saints behind them, what kind of methods did Daoist Jieyin and Daoist Zhunti actually possess? He could not say for sure.

"It is simple. If other existences enter the West and become the leaders of the future Buddhism, they will not be able to hold their ground. Moreover, they are very likely to be alienated by those two fellows, Daoist Jieyin and Daoist Zhunti."

"You are different. Your Revered Master and I trust you extremely."

The Grand Supreme Elder Lord spoke slowly, and Daoist Duobao also heaved a long sigh.

"Very well, Senior Martial Uncle. If it must be so, then that is all I can do."

There was a hint of helplessness in Daoist Duobao's tone. Then, a look of seriousness appeared on his face, and he said with a grave expression:

"Senior Martial Uncle Grand Supreme, Daoist Jieyin and Daoist Zhunti are, after all, existences at the Saint level, and Mount Sumeru in the West is the base camp of the Demonic Path. Perhaps you and Revered Master could give me some means."

At this moment, Duobao had a serious expression on his face. The previous anger, confusion, and inner gloom were merely for this purpose.

What kind of existence was Mount Sumeru? As Disciples of the Jie Sect, they still had some understanding of it.

It was the former base camp of the Demonic Path within the Primordial World, the place where Luo Hou resided. It contained his Qi and power, which even a Hunyuan Expert could not remove.

As for Saints, they could only contend with Late-stage Hun Yuan. Although they could suppress a Late-stage Hun Yuan existence if they exerted their full power, the fact that the West had been conquered meant that Mount Sumeru did not recognize those two.

Their efforts over so many years had failed to make Mount Sumeru recognize them; would Daoist Duobao be able to? In this era, and in the future, would he have the ability to make Mount Sumeru recognize him?

Undoubtedly, it was impossible.

Thus, if even those two Saints could not do it, how could he possibly do it?

A look of gravity appeared on Daoist Duobao's face. At this moment, hearing what Daoist Duobao said, the Grand Supreme Elder Lord spoke slowly:

"This matter can be resolved. Your Revered Master and I have long since calculated this point."

From then on, there would no longer be a Mount Sumeru, only Mount Ling.

A smile appeared on the face of the Grand Supreme Elder Lord, and his gaze looked toward the direction of the Honghuang World. At this moment, within the Primordial World, two terrifying existences were emitting powerful auras.

The Saintly Dao bodies of Daoist Jieyin and Daoist Zhunti manifested. With a wave of their hands, the power of Saints descended.

Their gazes looked together toward the direction of Mount Sumeru. Vast power manifested, and streams of the Origin power of Mount Sumeru were extracted by them.

At the same time, a vast will awakened upon Mount Sumeru.

"Jieyin, Zhunti, you have such great audacity to dare to extract my Origin power! Do you wish to face the punishment of the world? You are destroying the world and destroying the peace of the West. Can your Karma withstand such reckless squandering?"

On Mount Sumeru, a will emerged, carrying traces of Devilish Qi. However, this was not Luo Hou, but the mountain spirit of Mount Sumeru.

Divine mountains of the Primordial World do not inherently give birth to intelligence, but who could deny that Luo Hou's methods were powerful?

The Hunyuan Wuji Realm can already achieve creation from nothingness, evolving infinite power from the void, and turning the impossible into the possible.

By his sheer methods, he forcefully created this intelligence. It possessed its own will, unlike before when it only had instincts.

"What a Mount Sumeru. Hmph, during that great battle that day, you actively released the Formation of Mount Sumeru, causing all of our Disciples to perish. Isn't it a bit too late to say this now?"

As they spoke, Daoist Jieyin and Daoist Zhunti did not stop their hands; instead, the power of the Saints became even more vast.

Between heaven and earth, as time passed, the Origin of Mount Sumeru gradually began to diminish.

With this Origin as a foundation, a divine mountain rose from the ground in the location that originally belonged to Mount Sumeru.

"How is this? There shouldn't be any problems now, right?"

Daoist Jieyin and Daoist Zhunti looked at the newly created divine mountain, and a smile appeared on their faces.

Then, they looked coldly at that Divine Mountain Sumeru. Streams of Saintly power erupted, banishing it into the endless Void Realm.

They manipulated Mount Ling with their hands, fusing it with the Western continent—or to be precise, fusing it with the current Western continent.

During that previous great battle, the Primordial World was shattered once again. Now, it should not be called the Western continent, but rather, the Western Aparagodaniya Continent.

However, deep within Mount Ling, there was a trace of Demonic intent. Under the baptism of the Saints, it began to grow continuously, and even a trace of Buddha-nature emerged within it.

This was truly the unity of Buddha and Demon.
