97: Chapter 97 Di Jun's Ambition: Desire to Establish a Heavenly Court

"It seems that at some point, I must have a talk with That One."

Daoist Jidu thought to himself.

His gaze, however, turned toward this world. His true body had sent him to the Primordial World and had him change his identity, but not so that he could spend his time in leisure.

Rather, it was to allow the Demonic Path to develop once again within the Primordial World, so that his true body could absorb the insights gained from it to take a further step.

The cultivation method of a Hunyuan Expert is to continuously extend one's own Dao, penetrating world after world; the more time-spaces and worlds it penetrates, the more powerful they become.

His true body also understood the gap between Hunyuan Experts.

For existences that have reached the extreme of Hunyuan, the true Perfected Hun Yuan, their own Dao has already permeated the boundless worlds, and their traces can even be found within the Boundless Sea of Chaos.

This is a qualitative change that can easily suppress existences below the level of Perfected Hun Yuan.

The essence of the Honghuang World was such that even the recovery of so many Chaos Demon Gods could not shake it in the slightest; it was clearly at such a level.

If the Demonic Path were to completely permeate the entire Primordial World and continuously strengthen as the world evolved, Rahu's cultivation and Realm would likely receive a massive boost.

How exactly to accomplish this matter, however, was a difficult problem.

After thinking for a moment, he walked toward the Jidu Star.

The Heavenly Dao had already been born into the world, and the restrictions and rules of the world had become even more powerful. Compared to back then, various restrictions were far too great.

To accomplish this, he would need to spend some time planning carefully... On the Jidu Star, the starlight was brilliant, and wisps of Chaos Qi were absorbed by this star, transformed into shimmering starlight, and scattered across the world.

Daoist Jidu did not engage in cultivation; at his Realm, so-called cultivation was no longer necessary at all.

His true body had already achieved the Hunyuan Realm; if he wanted to step into the level Above Great Luo within the Primordial World.

He would either have to open up a new Dao once again or walk the path of merging with the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth.

There was another way, which was to develop the newly evolved Demonic Path within the Primordial World and merge with it; that would also allow him to step into the level Above Great Luo.

Daoist Jidu's gaze looked toward the Endless Starry Sky, as if he were calculating something. Ultimately, he let out a helpless sigh.

"Sigh, the Zhou Tian Xing Dou Great Array is indeed incredibly profound. Based on the movements of the boundless stars, I can only calculate a rough outline."

"However, if I had the river chart and luo book in hand, I could take it a step further."

He sighed, a trace of helplessness appearing on his Face as his gaze slowly turned toward the Sun Star.

It would be extremely simple to just go and beat them to death to snatch those two Magic Treasures.

But after snatching them, what kind of consequences would he Face?

His Incarnation would be ruined; this Incarnation of his would be ruined, and the identity of Daoist Jidu could no longer appear in Honghuang.

Did he really think it was easy for him to leave an Incarnation in Honghuang? As the Heavenly Dao was nurtured, it began to check for leaks and fill in gaps, gradually moving from imperfection toward Perfection.

The loopholes that the Demonic Path had originally exploited through opportunism now required a price to be paid.

Moreover, it was even harder now to leave an Incarnation in Honghuang.

Outside the Jidu Star, Dijun's voice rang out at this moment.

"I, Dijun, have specifically come to visit Fellow Daoist Jidu. I ask Fellow Daoist to have a talk with me."

Jidu was stunned for a moment, somewhat surprised. Why had Dijun come here?

One does not visit a temple without a reason; how could an Innate Sacred Being do something that offered no benefit?

Unless Dijun had something to ask of him.

With this thought, Jidu had an idea.

He must see him; if Dijun wanted to do something and was asking for his help, then Dijun would have to pay a small price.

Without hesitation, the Formation covering the entire star dissipated at this moment.

This Formation was not something Jidu had deduced himself; rather, it was deduced with the help of his true body and the fragments of the jade disc of creation.

The power of the Formation almost surpassed the level of Great Luo.

Outside the Jidu Star, Dijun and Taiyi did not hesitate either, stepping forward to enter the star.

"Haha, Fellow Daoist Dijun, Fellow Daoist Taiyi, it has truly been a long time. Since we parted at Zixiao Palace, it must have been over a dozen Yuanhuis."

"I wonder what important matter brings you two Fellow Daoists here to find me?"

Daoist Jidu said with a smile, directly getting to the point without any concealment.

Dijun and Taiyi glanced at each other, their expressions somewhat stiff.

This fellow really doesn't give any Face at all, getting straight to the point.

This was not a good sign, but rather indicated other calculations; he might even be trying to trap them.

Dijun indeed had an important matter this time, which was his desire to gather the forces of the Boundless Starry Sky and create a powerful organization.

Other things were easy to discuss, but after several encounters, Dijun also understood the attitude of those two Lunar Fairies.

As long as a sufficient price was paid, those two would not refuse.

In the Endless Starry Sky, the only one they were most worried about was Daoist Jidu.

His strength was mysterious and unpredictable; if they were to fight, a sense of deadly crisis would arise in their hearts.

With such strength, Dijun and Taiyi's attitude toward this one was exceptionally cautious and careful.

Daoist Jidu's attitude was, in their minds, both a good thing and a bad thing.

On one hand, it meant they could talk; on the other hand, it meant that he had his eye on something they possessed.

A look of vigilance immediately appeared on Taiyi's Face, and he looked at his chaos bell with a trace of killing intent.

The most precious thing they had was nothing other than this world-opening supreme treasure.

At this moment, Dijun no longer showed a shred of friendliness and said coldly:

"Fellow Daoist is absolutely right. Our visit this time is indeed for an important matter."

"We wish to integrate all the forces of the Boundless Starry Sky and create a greater power, hoping that this power can exist alongside heaven and earth."

"To lead the world, with all living beings not daring to disobey, just like That One in the West, using the power of all living beings to better develop the world."

"The chaos bell is of great use to me and cannot be given to you. I wonder if Fellow Daoist is willing to join me in creating this power? If successful, we can all step into a higher Realm."

"At that time, Fellow Daoist will be one of the supreme existences of this ultimate power. I have already chosen a name for it: the Heavenly Court."

Upon hearing this, Jidu's eyes lit up. This was simply perfect.

To find it after wearing out iron shoes, only to find it requires no effort at all?

Dijun was making empty promises, he knew that well, but this promise was not impossible to turn into reality.

He was still thinking about how to make the Demonic Path great again, and now an opportunity had arrived.

Integrating the Boundless Starry Sky was something that would require these two to spend a lot of time and energy, and might even be a thankless task.

For him, however, it was somewhat simple.

It was nothing more than a matter of interests.

The Innate Fierce Beasts evolved from the remains of chaos demon gods would be excellent recruitment material.

However, when the time comes, it remains to be seen whether it will be Dijun's Heavenly Court or the Demonic Path's Heavenly Court.

"Fellow Daoist Dijun, if this succeeds, it can be said to benefit all living beings in the world!"

"This is a great Karma; how could I not admire you? I am willing to serve you to the death, Fellow Daoist."

Daoist Jidu looked sincere. Dijun and Taiyi were stunned; what was going on? They hadn't even done anything yet, hadn't even mentioned what they could offer.

Why did Jidu submit so quickly? Had they misheard?

They were completely bewildered.
