160: The arrogance of the Shadow Kingdom!

He had black hair and black eyes, with a face as delicate as a porcelain doll, but his eyes held a depth and majesty completely at odds with his appearance.

Aux pointed at the little boy, his whole body as if struck by lightning, screaming incoherently: "Shapeshift... he Shapeshifted into human form?! He, an Ordinary Level giant beast... actually Shapeshifted into human form?! Hahaha... the human form that so many King-level giant beasts seek but cannot obtain... he has done it... insane... I must be dreaming!!"

He rubbed his eyes desperately, almost falling into a frenzy.

Lan Xin stared intently at the small figure, her chest heaving violently, her breathing rapid. The immense shock left her almost speechless: "Ordinary Level... Shapeshifting into human form... He... he really can trample over all common sense and rules..."

At this moment, all hesitation and deliberation were crushed by this subversive impact.

For an existence that could break even ancient rules, what was impossible about destroying the Shadow Kingdom?

Bet everything!

Must bet everything!

A look of determination instantly erupted in Lan Xin's eyes, and a voice screamed madly in her heart:

Her Family must bind itself to this existence's war chariot at all costs! This was a Heaven-Defying Luck that only appeared once in eons!

Meanwhile, the surrounding one hundred thousand Divine Summer Dragon Blood Warriors and Ice-Descended Giant Bears had witnessed this miraculous Shapeshifting from start to finish.

"Clang!"

Chen Feng slammed his dragon-patterned vibranium long blade into the ice beneath his feet, knelt on one knee with a boom, and looked up at the small figure, his eyes burning with near-maniacal worship and fervor, his voice tearing through the sky:

"Congratulations to His Highness Kraken on successfully Shapeshifting, spreading the Divine Might of our Blue Star! Kraken is invincible! Blue Star is invincible!!"

"Boom—!!"

Like a mountain crying out and a sea roaring, one hundred thousand Dragon Blood Warriors and their Ice-Descended Giant Bear mounts knelt on one knee in unison, their movements perfectly synchronized, shaking the ice field!

Countless fervent gazes focused on the small figure, their earth-shattering roars converging into a unified will that pierced the clouds and echoed repeatedly between heaven and earth:

"Congratulations to His Highness Kraken on successfully Shapeshifting, spreading the Divine Might of our Blue Star! Kraken is invincible! Blue Star is invincible!!!"

"Congratulations to His Highness Kraken on successfully Shapeshifting, spreading the Divine Might of our Blue Star! Kraken is invincible! Blue Star is invincible!!!"

The waves of sound swept across the wilderness, declaring that an existence who broke all common sense had officially embarked on his journey.

...

Shadow Kingdom, Deep Sea Royal Court

The massive palace was constructed from deep-sea obsidian and the bones of pale giant beasts. The dome hung high, embedded with phosphorescent algae that emitted a ghostly green light, illuminating the entire space like a sunken ghost realm.

Thick, energy-rich seawater flowed slowly within the hall, and countless twisted shadows darted through it.

The kingdom's supreme Dominator—an Overlord-level powerhouse, King Salazar Shadow, sat high upon a throne carved from the entire skull of an ancient sea dragon.

He wore a magnificent robe woven from dark currents, and ink-colored energy slithered like small snakes at his fingertips. Simply sitting there, the pressure radiating from his body caused the surrounding space to freeze and distort.

A messenger official prostrated beneath the jade steps, his body trembling slightly with fear, reporting in a shrill voice the fragmented information just received via remote spiritual link from the distant Blue Star plane:

"Report to Your Majesty... Scale Lord Golosh has sent back his final message... the Second Legion... encountered strong resistance... Legion Commander Rossi... confirmed fallen... the target is... a Kraken juvenile..."

The news was like a stone thrown into a stagnant pool, stirring a ripple in the Royal Court.

"Kraken?"

An effeminate voice rang out.

Minister of Internal Affairs Moros, dressed in a robe with intricate patterns, twisted his slimy tentacles, his face showing exaggerated surprise, which then turned into a disdainful sneer:

"I really did not expect that a creature existing only in ancient legends would appear in a quagmire that has only just had its Spiritual Energy Revival for thirty days. However, no matter how strong the race is, it is still just a juvenile after all. How strong could it be?! How could it possibly block the Expeditionary Force? Has Golosh not campaigned for too long, that even his excuses for fabricating a defeat are so clumsy?"

"Hehehe..."

A burst of laughter like silver bells, but carrying a venomous, mocking tone, came from the side.

Princess Selina, possessing an enchanting curve and scales shimmering with a pearlescent luster, leaned lazily on a soft couch made of coral and jade. She played with a brilliant night-luminescent pearl, not even bothering to lift her eyelids:

"Father, I have long said that the brute Golosh has strength but his brain seems to have been hit by a hammerhead shark. He can't even handle a native of a low-level plane and a juvenile little octopus; it really loses all face for our Shadow Kingdom. I think his title of 'Invincible General' should be changed."

A general clad in heavy armor, radiating a bloody Evil Qi—Blood Scale Overseer Baho, stepped forward fiercely, the collision of armor plates emitting a clanging sound.

He grinned, revealing sharp, white teeth, his voice like grinding sand:

"Your Majesty! Please allow me to lead my Blood Scale Guard and depart immediately! What kind of bullshit Kraken juvenile; I think it's just an illusion created by those bugs on Blue Star in their death throes! I will personally tear off the tentacles of that little octopus one by one and stuff them into the throats of those lowly humans! I will use their blood to dye the entire coastline red, so that the smell of blood won't dissipate from that sea area for a thousand years!"

On the throne, King Salazar slowly opened his eyes; they were vertical pupils as deep and cold as a ten-thousand-fathom abyss. He was not angry, but instead revealed a hint of amusement, as if he had heard an interesting joke.

"Kraken... juvenile..."

His voice was low and magnetic, yet carried the indifference of looking down upon ants.

"It is indeed an unexpected discovery. Moros."

"I am here." The Minister of Internal Affairs bowed immediately.

"Notify Golosh. When he has 'had his fun,' bring back the corpse and crystal core of that little octopus. Perhaps... it can be used to decorate my new throne." His tone was as relaxed as if he were discussing ingredients for dinner.

"As for Blue Star..."

King Salazar's gaze swept over the ministers below and finally landed on Baho.

"Baho, your bravery is commendable. But, why use a butcher's knife to slaughter a chicken? Let Golosh clean up his own mess. If he cannot even handle such a small matter, there is no need for him to return bearing the title of Expeditionary Force Scale Lord."

He raised his hand slightly, and an invisible force lifted a fruit shimmering with inexplicable energy to his lips.

"A primitive civilization where even the Awakening Realm requires Luck to reach, a juvenile giant beast that can barely overturn a few small boats... are they worthy of making my Shadow Kingdom mobilize?"

He hummed disdainfully, his voice echoing in the magnificent Royal Court, filled with unquestionable arrogance:

"When Golosh crushes their last hope and brings back the head of that little octopus hanging on a flagpole, we shall see if these inferior creatures can still emit such ridiculous wails."
