89: The United States' plea for help is a major gain for Sherlock!

An unprecedented massacre targeting civilians!

All hesitation, all shame, all dignity,

were utterly crushed by primal fear in this moment!

"Quick! Contact Divine Summer!"

Wilson's voice was distorted, filled with desperate wails,

"Beg them! In the name of humanity! Beg them to immediately send troops to rescue us! Save Los Angeles! Save America!"

...On this day, global news headlines refreshed frantically at a dizzying speed.

First, America brazenly kidnapped humanity with "Global Nuclear Peace," threatening Divine Summer.

Then, America actively broadcasted globally, showing off its "powerful" alien allies.

The broadcast then turned into a global spectacle of America being brutally backstabbed by its allies.

And now, the most significant news was that the United States of America, whose military strength was proclaimed to be the world's number one, exhausted its national power, even using thousands of nuclear bombs for homeland bombardment,

yet was unable to stop the advance of merely a few thousand alien troops! The most elite forces within the country were completely wiped out!

Thus,

the American Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued what could be called the most shameless "plea for aid" statement in history.

The statement made no mention of previous threats and hostilities; instead, it skirted the main issues,

extensively discussing the crisis of human survival and emphasizing that confronting the aliens was also Divine Summer's responsibility.

It was full of moral blackmail,

demanding Divine Summer "immediately" and "unconditionally" send troops for support.

Countless American netizens, under the threat of death, instantly changed their tune:

[Divine Summer! We were wrong! We truly know we were wrong! Please come quickly!]

[Yes, Divine Summer's Kraken is incredibly powerful and will definitely be able to help us block those giant beasts. Now the entire Los Angeles is in chaos. If you don't come, we're finished...]

[It's said that Divine Summer has formed an organized mecha unit. Send them over quickly! You can't just stand by and watch us die!]

[Yes, yes, yes, with great power comes great responsibility! Now only you can stop those aliens!]

However,

Divine Summer's response,

left all Americans stunned.

"Given the American government's previous solemn demand that our armed forces not set foot on American territory."

"Therefore, all our military forces, including 'Kraken,' will continue to strictly adhere to this requirement and will never enter American territory."

"We believe that with the powerful comprehensive national strength and military might of the United States of America, it is fully capable of resolving its own affairs independently."

As soon as this statement was released,

the world was astonished, then erupted in an uproar!

Within Divine Summer,

the internet was filled with cheers and applause:

[Well done! Give them a taste of their own medicine!]

[They pointed nuclear bombs at the world, telling everyone not to help, and now they're crying and begging for aid? Where's their face?]

[And they want us to be responsible? What do the American casualties have to do with us! They made their bed, now they lie in it!]

[If you ask me, we should just enjoy the show from here.]

In the underground Command Center,

Wilson looked at Divine Summer's response, his facial muscles twitching violently,

filled with shame and rage, he slammed his fist on the control panel:

"Bastards! Bastards! The Divine Summer people actually ignored us!"

Elias, standing nearby, looked at the almost irrational Wilson,

a deep sense of disappointment and weariness flashing in his eyes.

He slowly stood up, straightened his robes, his voice low and calm:

"Your Excellency Wilson, it was we... who pushed things to a dead end. Now to expect others to return good for evil is already a luxury. Asking for help... requires the attitude of someone asking for help."

He turned,

and walked out of the Command Center, the light around him once again solidifying and becoming resolute.

"I will lead all members of the Freemasons to Los Angeles... to attempt to block the Sea God Cult's advance."

His steps paused slightly at the doorway, his voice heavy as if making a proclamation:

"But... please do not harbor any illusions."

"Immediately... organize the evacuation of civilians from Los Angeles. However many can escape... let them escape."

...Meanwhile, deep within the Mariana Trench.

The Sea God Cult's lair, the Abyssal Corridor, had transformed into a Shura field.

Ten terrifying tentacles, like ancient demonic dragons, raged, slammed, and coiled madly within the lair!

Wherever they passed, the hard biological tissue walls shattered like paper, and the ferocious Shadow Scale Clan Deep One Warriors, like insects crushed by a giant, exploded into bloody, mangled fragments in swathes!

Twenty-five menshen mecha, painted with Divine Summer dragonPattern, like steel war gods, formed an unshakeable assault formation, their massive chainsaw swords and shock gauntlets roaring as they pulverized any enemy daring to resist!

Further back, thousands of Dragon Blood Warriors, like efficient killing machines, cleared out remaining enemies in every corner.

The stubbornly resisting Shadow Scale Clan was being rapidly annihilated.

In a corner of the lair,

Liss, with only his upper body remaining, leaned against a shattered wall,

his scales broken, crimson blood soaking the area beneath him.

His unfocused gaze incredulously fixed on the mountain-like colossal shadow cast at the lair's entrance, a rasping, airy sound escaping his throat:

"Im...impossible... The lair's location... so hidden... How... did they find it..."

He used his last ounce of strength,

crushing a dark, scale-shaped communicator in his hand,

then his head lolled to the side, utterly losing all signs of life.

"Hahahaha! Found it! We found it!!!"

On the other side, Chen Feng's excited laughter echoed in a relatively intact storage room.

Before him was a huge storage rack made of some luminous shells,

neatly arranged with sealed shell containers, inside which viscous liquid shimmered with a soft, pearlescent glow.

"Quick! Go and invite Academician Chen over! This must be what Lord Kraken mentioned—the Shadow Harmony Enzyme!"

Soon,

Academician Chen hurried over, escorted by Dragon Blood Warriors.

He carefully picked up a shell, and after meticulous examination with an instrument, his aged face flushed with extreme excitement, his fingers trembling slightly:

"It's it! That's right! This is the key that can stabilize and optimize Kraken's gene sequence! A miracle! This is truly a miracle of life!"

"With this, the Dragon Blood Warriors can better integrate Kraken's genes and become even stronger! They can even evolve together with Kraken!"

A young soldier nearby, looking at the tempting shimmering liquid, couldn't help but ask curiously:

"Old Chen, is this thing... really that amazing? I'm only at Tier 12, what would happen if I used it?"

Academician Chen pushed up his glasses, his eyes gleaming with the light of a mad scientist:

"Tier 12? Hmph, kid, once you inject the new generation Dragon Blood Serum with this harmony enzyme... your strength, conservatively estimated, can stably increase to Tier 50!"

"Fi...Fifty Tiers?!"

The young soldier's voice instantly rose by an octave, his eyes wide,

"That... that most powerful Elias from America... isn't he only Tier 50?! I... I can be as strong as him?! Then... if all of us in the Dragon Blood Unit inject it, goodness, I can't even imagine!"
