7: Alien invasion?!

Divine Summer,

Deep within Safety Port No. 3.

The enormous underwater observation platform, constructed from several meters of specialized alloy glass and ultra-strength support structures, resembled a giant crystal cage embedded in the seabed.

The platform was brightly lit, yet filled with a nearly solidified tension and an irrepressible excitement.

Academician Chen, a doyen of biology, with white hair,

was currently pressed tightly against the cold observation glass like a young man,

his wrinkled hands trembling slightly from excitement.

His cloudy eyes were fixed on the slowly writhing, massive shadow in the deep water, which obscured most of his view.

The outline of the shadow flickered in and out of view in the dim seawater, each subtle sway creating silent undercurrents that buffeted the observation platform's glass, emitting a dull hum.

"This... this is... the Kraken..."

Academician Chen's voice was dry, with an incredulous tremor,

"The one that destroyed the Three Nations Joint Fleet... that... that 'Kraken'..."

Behind him, the entire top-tier biological research team was silent,

everyone awestruck and breathless by the magnificent creation before them, which surpassed biological limits.

The enormous size data flickering on the instrument screens coldly stated a fact:

This was definitely not any life form known on Blue Star!

Just then!

The shadow in the deep water intensified its writhing.

A tentacle, its end covered with grotesque suckers and horny barbs, silently extended from the darkness and pressed against the observation window in front of Academician Chen!

Thump... thump... thump... The end of the tentacle rhythmically tapped against the thick glass, producing a dull yet clear knocking sound.

At the same time, an extremely faint infrasound wave, yet containing a specific complex frequency, like an invisible ripple, penetrated the glass and seawater, spreading into the observation platform.

The precise acoustic sensors inside the platform instantly captured the signal, and alarm lights flashed silently!

"He... he moved! He's knocking on the glass! He... he's sending a signal!"

Academician Chen spun around abruptly, his face erupting with a radiant joy,

and shrieked at the stunned team behind him:

"Quick! Quickly analyze it for me! Decipher it! He must have something to say! This is a historical contact! Hurry!"

The entire team, as if a start button had been pressed, instantly erupted into a frenzy!

The sound of keyboards clattered like a rapid downpour!

Massive waveform data and analysis models cascaded across the screens.

Li Weiguo and Wang Meng also squeezed to the glass, their hearts pounding like drums against their chests, their gazes fixed on the tentacle pressed against the glass and the suffocatingly huge shadow in the deep water.

What in the world did the Kraken want to say?!

Time ticked by, minute by minute, and Academician Chen paced anxiously back and forth in front of the glass.

Suddenly!

"It's out! Academician Chen! It's deciphered!"

A female researcher, wearing glasses and her face flushed with excitement, suddenly jumped up,

pointing at the several keywords that had finally stabilized on the main control screen.

The screen clearly displayed:

[29 Days], [Full-scale Invasion], [All Places], [Shadow Scale Clan], [Giant Sea Beasts]

"What... what does this mean?"

Li Weiguo looked at the words flickering on the screen, which seemed to have no logical connection,

his brows tightly furrowed,

and looked at Academician Chen in confusion,

"29 days? Invasion? Shadow Scale Clan?"

Academician Chen didn't answer immediately.

He lunged towards the screen, repeatedly scrutinizing the words, then suddenly looked up,

his gaze like a searchlight piercing through the glass,

fixed intently on the core of the massive shadow in the deep water—there, it seemed to be the 'head' direction of the Kraken.

His breathing suddenly became heavy, and his face changed from excitement to a solemnity bordering on horror.

"It... it's warning us!"

Academician Chen's voice was incredibly dry and heavy, every word seemingly squeezed from his throat,

"In 29 days... an alien race called the 'Shadow Scale Clan'... will... launch a full-scale invasion... of Blue Star... with a large number of giant sea beasts!"

Su Chen, in the seawater,

hearing that Academician Chen had deciphered what he wanted to express,

immediately nodded.

As expected of Divine Summer's top biological research team,

the deciphering speed was fast.

Otherwise,

Su Chen would have been ready to write Chinese characters directly with his tentacles.

Buzz—!

Inside the entire observation platform, silence instantly fell!

You could hear a pin drop!

Li Weiguo's confusion instantly froze, turning into a blank stare.

Wang Meng's mouth hung open, a gasping sound escaping his throat, but not a single word could he utter.

All the scientific researchers were frozen in place, with only the low hum of instruments and the thundering beat of their own hearts remaining.

In the seawater, the massive shadow slightly moved.

Making an unmistakably clear 'nodding' motion!

Academician Chen's body shook violently!

It was confirmed!

This was no coincidence!

"Full... full-scale invasion... alien race..."

Li Weiguo finally found his voice, but it was hoarse and unlike his own,

"This... how is this possible?! The enemy... isn't Fusang, isn't the United States... it's... it's aliens?!"

"What... what kind of joke is this?!"

Wang Meng shook his head violently, forcing a stiff smile onto his face,

"Academician Chen, could it be... could it be a deciphering error? Or... is this giant beast... trying to scare us? This news... is too... too outrageous!"

The surrounding researchers and armed guards also had expressions of disbelief in their eyes.

Su Chen wasn't surprised by this result,

After all,

this news was too shocking,

their inability to believe it immediately was understandable.

For this,

Su Chen had already thought of a countermeasure.

To make the Divine Summer high-level officials believe him, he only needed to tell them some things that would happen soon, according to his memory.

Thinking of this,

the tentacle pressed against the glass lifted again,

then began tapping with a more complex rhythm and force.

That unique vibration frequency also spread again.

At the same time,

new words were painstakingly pieced together on the screen:

[Tonight], [Goryeo], [East Coast], [Monster], [Attack]

[Now], [I], [Need], [Lots of Food]

"Tonight?! Goryeo East Coast?!"

Academician Chen's voice suddenly rose,

"The Kraken predicts... tonight! The Goryeo East Coast... will be attacked by monsters?! He... he can not only communicate... but also predict the future?!"

"No, I must report this information to the Supreme Command as soon as possible!"

In his haste, Academician Chen was about to turn around,

but suddenly remembered something,

and abruptly turned to the already dumbfounded head of Safety Port No. 3,

"The Kraken is hungry now and needs a lot of food! Mobilize all your reserves! Meat! Fresh! Frozen! Get me as much as you can! Immediately feed it to the Kraken!"

The port official jolted at the shout, stammering,

"Academician... Academician Chen... how much... how much should we feed?"

"Feed it until it's no longer hungry!!!"

Academician Chen left that command, then abruptly turned and stumbled towards the communicator,

his fingers trembling with excitement, almost unable to press the buttons accurately,

"Supreme Command... connect to Supreme Command! Highest priority!!!"
