99: Evil God Group Leader: Give me the pen, I will write!

In the Sea of Concepts, Gu Jianghan was watching with great interest the 'setting collection' slowly flipping before him.

The pages of the 'setting collection' no longer displayed cold text.

Instead, they showed vivid lives, like holographic projections.

The screen showed Sword River Fish's messy rented room, filled with the smell of smoke and coffee.

And the unlucky author, scratching his head and doubting Humanity, in front of his computer screen.

In the Divine Kingdom of Consciousness, Gu Jianghan of Humanity was sitting with his legs crossed, watching with relish.

Gu Jianghan of Divinity, however, maintained his eternally cold demeanor.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk."

Humanity spoke, his tone full of schadenfreude.

"I say, aren't you playing a bit too much?"

"Look at you, you're almost driving a perfectly good author insane."

Divinity remained silent.

Humanity continued, "I finally understand. The so-called 'definition' ability you learned from that broken book isn't about creating worlds at all."

"You're being a 'contrarian'!"

"If the author wants to write east, you insist he writes west."

"If the author wants the protagonist to show off, you insist supporting characters steal the spotlight."

"You're 'defining' the author's creative Ideas! You're imposing 'rules' on him!"

Divinity finally spoke, his voice still grand and hollow.

"I am merely conducting an 'experiment'."

"I want to see what 'unknown' variables will evolve when the 'story' deviates from the 'creator's' control."

"This author, named Sword River Fish, his 'creative will' is the 'observational sample' for this experiment."

"That sounds nice."

Humanity scoffed.

"I think you simply don't want anyone to peek at you."

"After all, for a coward who prides himself on Omniscience, 'unknown' is the most terrifying thing, isn't it?"

Faced with Humanity's taunts, Divinity fell silent again.

But on the 'setting collection', the entry for Lord of the End quietly became clearer and more complete...

In the rented room, Sword River Fish was going crazy!

He tried more than ten times!

Each time he tried to focus his writing on Gu Jianghan,

the plot would be forcibly diverted by an invisible power to other members of the Joint Squad, or even some random passerby!

He was like a puppet on strings!

He could only watch helplessly as his story rushed in a completely out-of-control direction!

He lost.

In this silent "creative rights struggle" with the characters he created,

he, a human, was utterly defeated.

He could even imagine what a terrible number his already dwindling readership would drop to once this chapter was published.

His editor, "Fanfan," would probably call him immediately and tell him to prepare his "completion remarks."

It's over.

Everything is over.

"Forget it! Let it be destroyed! I'm tired!"

Sword River Fish slumped back in his chair in self-abandonment, completely giving up resistance.

"Whatever happens, happens! At worst, I'll cut this book and start a new one!"

He lit a cigarette and began writing, following the "out-of-control" plot.

Anyway, the Joint Squad was also part of the protagonist's group, writing about them was better than writing about random passersby.

He began to describe in detail how Ye Liuli shared the information she saw in the "interlude script" with Gu Yanci.

He began to describe how Gu Yanci inferred the character of Lord of the End based on this information and the reaction of the Kuji Demon General.

He began to describe how Gu Yanci instantly stabilized the situation and boosted his acting degree from 8% to 43% with one sentence:

"Do you also think that this Lord has been dormant for too long and can no longer wield a blade?"

As he wrote, Sword River Fish's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Huh?"

"This plot... seems... pretty cool, actually?"

Although the protagonist didn't directly act, this kind of "strategizing within the command tent, winning a thousand miles away" seems to have even higher prestige!

It was as if he had found new creative inspiration, and his thoughts flowed like a spring!

He continued to write.

He wrote how Gu Yanci, using the Kuji Demon General, crushed the jealous Mother Goddess who had spoken disrespectfully, killing her as a warning to others!

He wrote how the surrounding evil gods were as silent as cicadas, scared out of their wits!

He wrote how Gu Yanci's acting degree soared all the way, finally stabilizing at 73%!

He wrote how Gu Yanci, under the awe-filled gazes of all the gods, naturally led the Joint Squad to reside in The Terminus Demon Palace, which symbolized supreme power!

This chapter, unknowingly, ended up being over three thousand words.

After finishing, Sword River Fish read it through once.

"Awesome!"

"Although the protagonist's screentime is still a bit short, the thrill of playing the pig to eat the tiger and borrowing power is definitely there!"

Satisfied, he prepared to upload this chapter.

But before uploading, he still couldn't resist adding a main plotline at the end of the chapter, where the Joint Squad discussed in the Demon Palace how to develop believers in the human world.

He thought he should leave a hook for the next chapter.

"Now, what we need to do is find our respective 'Player No. 1' in the huge Novice Village of Sin Ranch."

"Then, guide them to establish our church and reap our first batch of 'faith'!"

..."Therefore, our standards for selecting 'players' must also conform to our 'character setting.'"...

Sword River Fish stopped writing here.

He felt that this chapter could end.

However.

Just as he was about to click the "Publish" button.

His finger once again disobeyed him.

He watched helplessly as the cursor on the screen automatically moved to the end of the chapter.

Then, a line of text he had never thought of appeared on its own.

And while the Joint Squad was discussing how to find 'spokespersons' in the human world,

No one noticed.

In the shadows of the Demon Palace,

A pair of eyes, filled with desolation and decay, were silently watching them through endless time and space.

Those eyes were filled with scrutiny, doubt, and a hint of...

A deeply hidden, complex emotion called "expectation."

Sword River Fish: "..."

He looked at this last, suddenly added "hook," and he was completely stunned.

Who... who wrote this?!

This was definitely not written by him!

He dared to swear on his already thinning hair!

Just as he was filled with doubt and uncertainty.

A chat box, filled with dark golden patterns, suddenly popped up in the lower right corner of his computer, one he had never seen before.

There was only one message in the chat box.

The sender's ID was three dots.

...

And the content of the message was only one sentence.

"Well written."

"Continue."
