185: Chapter 185 The Birth of the World!
After accepting all the power, Su Lin's gaze fell back upon the giant yellow rabbit.
The rabbit was a good forty to fifty meters tall, fluffy and round, with a halo of swirling galaxies floating above its head.
Fortunately, when he finished creating it just now, he didn't release it directly from the System Space.
Otherwise, with such a massive size, the entire mansion would have been burst apart by it.
Su Lin looked up at the behemoth and said casually, "I'll call you Star Rabbit from now on."
The Star Rabbit tilted its head, blinked its round black eyes, and then let out a soft, "Gugu."
Su Lin smiled helplessly.
What kind of rabbit makes a "gugu" sound?
However, the Star Rabbit clearly didn't care about his snarky remark and instead continued to make a few more "gugu" sounds.
Although the sound was soft and sweet, it carried a peculiar rhythm, as if it were speaking, or perhaps conveying some kind of information.
Su Lin was taken aback for a moment, then immediately realized.
It seemed to be saying that it was about to start creating a world and was inviting him to join.
"Creating a world?" A flicker of interest flashed in Su Lin's eyes.
Creating a world—in those ancient myths and legends, in those epic chapters passed down for thousands of years—had always been something only a Creator God could do.
It was an authority that transcended everything, a realm that a Mortal wouldn't even dare to aspire to look up to.
Yet now, the creature he had created was actually about to open up a world.
As the creator of the Star Rabbit, didn't that make him the creator of a Creator God?
Well then, might as well go and take a look.
Being able to witness the birth of a world with his own eyes—
this kind of opportunity was likely something few people in the entire transcendent world could ever have.
However, Su Lin also knew that the world the Star Rabbit was about to create could not be mentioned in the same breath as the Main World he resided in.
The Main World was an extremely powerful and special existence.
It was vast, stable, and had perfect rules.
It had stood firm through countless years and was even capable of resisting the invasion of Evil Gods.
Such a world was a rarity, even within the entire Void Realm.
In fact, besides the Main World itself, there were a vast number of Small Worlds and different dimensions attached to the spatial barriers of the Main World.
Those so-called Lands of the End, Twilight Realms, and other different worlds regarded as Forbidden Grounds or treasure troves by various factions were likely all of this type.
It was precisely because the Main World was strong enough that it could bear Immortal Level, Forbidden Rank, and even true deities.
To open up an existence on the level of the Main World was, one could say, extremely difficult, or perhaps even impossible.
Because the accumulated foundation required, the energy needed to be consumed, and the pressure of the rules that had to be withstood—each item was beyond imagination.
What the Star Rabbit was about to create was naturally not that kind of existence; it couldn't even be counted as a Small World.
Rather, as the material description stated, it was just a different dimension.
It was that kind of relatively independent sub-dimension located outside the Main World and within the Void Realm.
Its scale could not be compared to a real Small World.
It is worth mentioning that for the Main World, these Small Worlds and different dimensions were equivalent to nutrients.
Therefore, if they appeared within the Main World, they would be swallowed and assimilated by the Main World, becoming a part of it.
Although the Star Rabbit was a creature created by Su Lin, while it was a creature, it was also, in essence, a world.
Therefore, the Star Rabbit could not stay inside the Main World for long.
If it didn't open up its own world as soon as possible and hide in the Void Realm outside the Main World, it would sooner or later be swallowed by the Main World as nutrients.
Therefore, it could only descend for short periods when necessary, and for most of the time, it had to stay in its own world, slowly growing in the Void Realm.
"Alright, I'll go and take a look with you." Su Lin nodded.
The Star Rabbit let out a joyful "gugu" sound, and the halo above its head suddenly lit up with a soft, seven-colored light.
The next second, Su Lin felt the surrounding space distort, and his entire body was wrapped in a gentle force and pulled directly into that halo.
The world before his eyes changed abruptly.
This was an empty space, filled with seven-colored air currents swirling slowly like nebulae.
The boundaries of the space were not clear; at the edges was churning, grayish-white mist.
That was the initial form of the spatial barrier—thin, fragile, yet containing infinite possibilities.
Su Lin could clearly sense that a continuous stream of Void Realm energy was seeping in from those boundaries, pouring into this space and constantly driving its evolution.
Just then, a yellow rabbit appeared in front of him, hopping about.
This rabbit was much smaller than the Star Rabbit, only a size larger than a normal rabbit.
But Su Lin recognized it at a glance; this was the Incarnation of the Star Rabbit, its manifested form in this space.
The Star Rabbit hopped twice and then let out a "gugu" sound.
The surrounding seven-colored air currents suddenly began to surge violently, as if they had been stirred by something.
The entire space began to tremble, and countless points of light appeared in the void, flickering like stars.
The evolution of the world had begun.
First, the elements began to manifest.
Flames ignited out of thin air in the void, water flowed out from unknown places, soil condensed into lumps, and wind whistled through the space.
The four basic elements appeared simultaneously, colliding, intertwining, and fusing in this still-empty space.
Flames collided with water, steaming up mist that filled the sky.
Air currents stirred up soil, which condensed and dispersed in the void.
Seven-colored light exploded wildly in the space, and energy of various colors bloomed like fireworks.
The entire scene was like the state of Chaos when heaven and earth were first opened—chaotic, violent, yet containing a certain primitive order.
The Star Rabbit continued to hop about, letting out "gugu" sounds.
Its voice still sounded soft and sweet, yet it carried an unquestionable majesty.
Following its calls, those elements that were originally colliding and entangled with each other suddenly began to differentiate in an orderly manner.
A portion of the light, ethereal elements slowly rose, condensing and spreading out at the top of the space, turning into a vast sky.
The sky was light blue, paler than the sky of the Main World, but it already had the appearance a sky should have.
A portion of the heavy, turbid elements slowly sank, condensing and accumulating at the bottom of the space, turning into a vast land.
The land was dark brown; the surface was still bare, without any vegetation, but at least it had a foundation to bear all things.
Water elements gathered in the low-lying areas of the land, turning into small puddles, nourishing this newborn land.
Wind elements circulated in the space, turning into a gentle breeze that blew across the sky and land, bringing flow and vitality.
Finally, fire elements gathered at the highest point of the sky, constantly compressing and condensing, eventually turning into a bright sun.
It hung high in the sky, casting down warm sunlight, bringing light and heat to this world.
At the same time, the area of the entire space continued to increase.
Those originally blurry boundaries began to expand outward, and the space became increasingly vast.
Although it was still far from a real world, it already had the prototype of a world.
Su Lin stood on the land, watching all this, feeling very novel.
So this is how a world is born?
Elemental differentiation, the separation of heaven and earth, the generation of the sun and moon.
These scenes that only existed in ancient legends and entertainment works were now truly happening before his eyes.
He witnessed with his own eyes a piece of Chaos being combed into order, witnessing the process of creation from nothing to something.
This was truly an interesting experience.
Su Lin reached out his hand, feeling the wind that brushed past his fingertips.
The wind was gentle, carrying a faint, elusive moisture, yet it also carried an indescribable sense of rawness; it was still somewhat different from the wind of the Main World.
He crouched down and grabbed a handful of soil.
The soil was dark brown and somewhat loose; its texture had a subtle difference from the soil of the Main World.
It seemed that this world was far from mature.
The soil lacked fertility, the air lacked vitality, there were no microorganisms in the rivers, and no birds in the sky.
Everything was still just the most basic framework; it still had a long way to go before becoming a real Small World capable of nurturing life.
But this was just the beginning.
Although it was currently just a crude different dimension, it held infinite possibilities.
As the Star Rabbit continued to absorb Void Realm energy and continued to drive the evolution of the world,
it would sooner or later become larger, more stable, and more perfect, and might even give birth to unique creatures belonging to this world.
By then, it would no longer just be a different dimension, but a real Small World.
Su Lin believed that the Star Rabbit would definitely be able to do it.
And just at this moment, he suddenly felt a strange energy fluctuation coming from outside the world.
The fluctuation was extremely weak, faint and elusive.
But Su Lin's current perception far exceeded that of ordinary people; that fluctuation did not escape his perception.
"Hmm? What's going on?"
Su Lin frowned, and his consciousness probed outward, following that energy fluctuation.
His Mental Energy passed through the boundaries of this space, through the churning grayish-white mist, and continued to extend outward.
Then, the scene outside the world presented itself in his mind.
It was a vast and boundless Void Realm, with no up or down, no left or right.
Only endless darkness and sporadic points of light.
Those points of light were scattered throughout the Void Realm.
Some were distant stars, some were unknown different dimensions; some emitted warm light, while others were so gloomy that they made one's heart crawl.
And in the depths of the Void Realm, there was a massive figure.
The aura of that figure was extremely terrifying; even across a vast distance, one could feel that suffocating sense of oppression.
Its body was shrouded in strange energy, its outline blurry and indistinct; one could only vaguely see its silhouette.
Those energies were not simple shadows, but a more bizarre, more indescribable power, slowly churning in the Void Realm, twisting everything into something unrecognizable.
It was hiding itself.
Su Lin could clearly sense that that existence was also trying its best to suppress and conceal its own aura.
Those strange energies formed layer upon layer of barriers around it, attempting to completely mask its existence.
But even so, a trace of extremely weak energy still leaked out.
Just this insignificant leak was enough to make Su Lin's Soul tremble slightly.
Undoubtedly, facing him was an indescribable, terrifying existence.
