32: Chapter 32 Mysterious Girl

Su Lin was startled and suddenly looked up.

He saw a young girl sitting on a beam high up in the factory, her legs dangling in the air and swinging gently.

She wore an elegant white dress, her long hair draped over her shoulders, and her features were as delicate as a porcelain doll.

With a sweet smile on her face, she was watching him with keen interest, looking as relaxed and elegant as if she were sunbathing on her own balcony.

Su Lin's pupils constricted slightly.

He hadn't noticed anyone at all!

Had she been here the whole time, or did she come in later?

Either way, it was very wrong.

This was the first time he had encountered such a situation since he had gained his extraordinary powers.

You have to know, his five senses had been enhanced countless times; any movement within a hundred-meter radius could not escape his perception.

Yet this girl had appeared above his head so silently that he hadn't noticed a thing.

Who was she?

Was she an accomplice of these human traffickers?

Or was she also here to deal with these people?

Su Lin's gaze became sharp.

He spoke coldly, his voice deep: "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

The girl tilted her head and smiled sweetly: "If I said I was just passing by, would you believe me?"

Su Lin certainly didn't believe it.

A girl appearing in an abandoned factory in the middle of the night, sitting on a beam watching him kill people, and claiming she was just passing by?

Who is she trying to fool!

The girl didn't seem to expect him to believe her either; instead, she curiously sized him up, her eyes sparkling with gossip:

"Then what about you? Who are you?"

"A killer? A cleaner? A messenger of the night? Or one of those superheroes who specialize in fighting crime?"

Her tone was as light as if she were guessing a riddle.

Su Lin's eyes were cold, his voice devoid of any emotion: "None of your business."

Hearing this, the girl didn't mind and swung her legs: "Fine, fine, if you won't say it, then don't. Why be so fierce?"

As she spoke, she seemed to remember something, reached into her pocket, and pulled out a small object.

"Let me show you something good."

As soon as she finished speaking, she tossed it, and the small object traced a parabola in the air, flying toward Su Lin.

Su Lin frowned and reached out to catch it.

It was a small stone, only the size of a thumb, completely pitch black, its surface as smooth as if it had been carefully polished.

Inside the stone, a faint glow could be vaguely seen flowing.

Although the light was faint, it gave one an extremely profound feeling, as if it contained some kind of power beyond reason.

As soon as Su Lin got it in his hand, he immediately felt a strange sensation.

It was an indescribable experience, as if something was gently touching his soul, or as if some voice was whispering from the distant void.

The voice was ethereal and illusory, impossible to hear clearly, but Su Lin could clearly perceive that this thing was definitely not simple!

Su Lin looked up at the girl and asked in a deep voice: "What is this?"

The girl tilted her head and thought for a moment, her tone as casual as if she were talking about the nice weather: "Who knows? Perhaps it's an eternal echo from the Eternal Hall?"

Hearing this, Su Lin was stunned.

Eternal Hall?

eternal echo?

What that human trafficker said was true!

Was it really the Eternal Hall behind him?

And this girl was from the Eternal Hall; had she come to collect the goods?

Thinking of this, Su Lin's eyes became even colder, and his voice carried clear hostility: "Are you from the Eternal Hall?"

The girl shook her head, her tone carrying a hint of disdain: "Of course not, don't compare me to those guys."

After speaking, she jumped straight down from the high place.

She landed lightly, knees slightly bent, stepping firmly on the ground without making any sound, and without sustaining any injuries.

Su Lin immediately prepared for battle, the power within his body surging wildly, and he activated his Void Armor to the fullest.

At the same time, nine Spore Minions instantly coalesced, surrounding the girl.

Their hands simultaneously transformed into dark green long blades, the blades aimed at the girl, ready to attack at any moment.

Su Lin was even prepared to release his Thunder Soul.

As long as the girl made any suspicious move, he would immediately strike with full force, giving her no chance at all!

However, although the girl was surrounded by nine Servants, she was not the least bit nervous.

Instead, she examined the Servants with keen interest, her eyes sparkling with curiosity: "Wow, are these your Soul Puppets? There are so many!"

She even reached out, wanting to touch one of the Servants.

Su Lin thought, and the Minion immediately took a step back, avoiding her hand.

The girl didn't mind, retracted her hand, her eyes flashing with curiosity: "Could you be the young master of some hidden great family or large organization? Bringing so many Soul Puppets as guards when you go out, you must be a big shot!"

Su Lin ignored her questions entirely, just staring firmly at her with cold eyes.

The girl seemed to notice Su Lin's vigilance and just smiled, saying: "Don't worry, I have no malice toward you, you don't need to be so nervous."

She paused, her tone playful: "I just want to make friends with you, will you or not?"

"Not interested." Su Lin replied without hesitation.

The girl didn't get angry, just shrugged, a sweet smile still hanging on her face.

Su Lin stared at her intently and asked in a deep voice: "What do you actually want?"

He didn't believe that this girl appeared here in the middle of the night just to chat with him.

Hearing this, the girl stopped beating around the bush and said directly: "I heard you want to find the Blood Moon Cult?"

Hearing this, Su Lin was stunned.

How did she know?

But he soon calmed down.

This person's strength was unfathomable; she might have been hiding in the shadows all along, just not revealing herself.

She must have heard his entire conversation with that man earlier, which was why she knew he wanted to find the Blood Moon Cult.

Su Lin did not deny it and asked directly: "Do you know about the Blood Moon Cult?"

"That is natural." The girl nodded, her tone light, "However, before that, it seems there is some trouble that needs to be dealt with."

As soon as she finished speaking—

"Tap, tap, tap!"

A burst of dense footsteps came from outside the factory.

Uniform and well-trained, there were at least dozens of people.

The girl turned her head and looked toward the direction of the factory gate.

She saw a group of people wearing black combat uniforms rushing in quickly, each person exuding a thick aura, holding weapons in their hands.

On their chests, they wore the badge of the Long Country Supernatural Bureau.

Leading them was a middle-aged man with a thick aura, clearly an agent of the Supernatural Bureau.

And when the girl turned back—

"???"

Where was Su Lin's figure?

That man wearing a black mask and the nine eerie Servants were all gone.

It was as if they had never appeared.

The girl was stunned.

She blinked her eyes, looking at the empty factory, somewhat incredulous.

Ran so fast?

Then, she looked at the Supernatural Bureau agents who were surrounding the factory and sighed helplessly.

Well, looks like I have to find a way to escape on my own again...
