283: Chapter 283 A New Visitor to the Wizard's Tower! Dragonborn Scholar Grace!

Gino City, Wizard Tower.

On the open ground in front of the Wizard Tower gate, a group of people stopped. Leading them were a man and a woman.

The man looked to be in his early thirties, of medium build, wearing a dark gray mage robe.

The woman standing beside him was much younger, around twenty-four or twenty-five, her scholar robe accentuating her elegant figure, with gentle features and an aura of intellectual grace.

Just then, the Wizard Tower gate suddenly opened, and a slender figure hurried out to greet them.

Aurora's long hair was draped casually over her shoulders, and upon seeing the familiar figure at the head of the group at the gate, she couldn't help but exclaim in surprise:

"Father, Mother, why are you here?!"

Seeing their youngest daughter trotting out to meet them, both Cliff and Natalie's faces lit up with smiles.

However, the moment Aurora reached them and stopped, the smiles on the couple's faces froze almost simultaneously.

Their attention fell, in unison, upon their daughter's lower abdomen.

With their strength and perception, the moment Aurora approached, they sensed those three new, faint life auras.

Their youngest daughter was pregnant?! And with triplets?!

Cliff's brow twitched, and he stood there stiffly, at a loss for words.

A look of unconcealable shock flashed across Natalie's face, and she shot a fierce glare at Cliff beside her.

Running up to her parents, Aurora immediately realized something when she saw the change in their expressions.

Her face flushed deep red instantly, and she lowered her head, twisting her hands together unconsciously, saying: "I..."

Natalie took a deep breath, her chest heaving a few times, before calming down and saying: "Aurora, show us your Wizard Tower."

Hearing this, Aurora finally looked up. Glancing at her parents' expressions and seeing no signs of her mother erupting on the spot, she breathed a slight sigh of relief and said in a low voice: "Alright, Mother, follow me."

She turned around and led her parents into the Wizard Tower, her back looking somewhat flustered.

Cliff and Natalie exchanged a look before following behind their youngest daughter, stepping into the first Wizard Tower of her life.

However, just one step in, both of their footsteps faltered in unison.

Cliff's brow raised slightly, and a glimmer of disbelief flashed in his eyes.

He turned his head to look at his wife again. This time, the same shock appeared in both of their eyes.

A 5th-Ring Wizard! The owner of this Wizard Tower, their daughter, was actually already a 5th-Ring Wizard?!

Cliff did a quick calculation in his mind. It hadn't been long since Aurora left the academy for Gino City, had it?

She had already promoted to a 5th-Ring Wizard?! Even within the Winfield Family, with its history of generations of geniuses, such a rate of advancement was enough to rank in the top three!

Natalie's fingertips trembled slightly. Her daughter hadn't just broken through; her aura was stable and her foundation solid, not at all like someone who had just broken through and was still in an unstable phase.

This was simply incredible!

Ahead, Aurora seemed not to notice her parents' surprise, as she walked and began to softly introduce her Wizard Tower:

"This Wizard Tower currently has seven levels."

"The ground floor is the Elemental Gathering Array and material processing room; the second floor is the alchemy laboratory and potion storage room; the third floor is the library and meditation room."

"The fourth floor is where I live; the fifth floor is the monitoring array control zone; the sixth floor is the defense core and tower spirit hub."

"And the top floor is the stargazing platform and the core spellcasting platform with the highest authority."

Her tone was a bit reserved at first, but when talking about the internal structure she had built with her own hands, the enthusiasm of a young wizard unconsciously shone through.

She pushed open the heavy oak door of the second floor, and the scent of stabilizers wafted out to meet them.

Inside the room, several crystal crucibles were neatly arranged; one of them was still emitting pale purple steam, and the walls were hung with dense rows of rune carving knives and measuring tools.

Natalie's gaze swept over the precise instruments, and she nodded inwardly. It looked decent enough.

The group continued upward.

The third-floor library made Cliff pause for quite a while. He noticed that the bookshelves contained not only many standard books but also many rare editions, forbidden texts, and experimental records that were hard to find on the market...

Aurora introduced these books, and thinking of their origins, she couldn't help but feel a little sweetness in her heart.

Cliff pursed his lips and opened a forbidden rare edition, quickly becoming engrossed in it, his brows furrowing tightly at times and relaxing slightly at others.

When he came to his senses, he saw that his daughter and wife were quietly waiting for him, and he couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed: "Apologies... the contents of this book are even more interesting than I imagined..."

Then, the tour continued.

Finally, the three arrived at the top of the tower.

The space on the top floor was unexpectedly spacious, with a dome cast from transparent magic crystal, allowing a panoramic view of the outside scenery.

At this moment, the sun was setting, and the orange-red afterglow spilled down through the crystal dome.

The surrounding walls were carved with flowing trajectories that rotated slowly as the light changed, as if one were in the middle of a vast starry sky.

Aurora stopped and turned around.

The evening breeze blew in through the half-open window, stirring the stray hairs on her forehead.

She looked up at her parents, her eyes appearing exceptionally bright in the twilight, yet carrying a trace of cautious inquiry.

"Father, Mother," her voice was much calmer than before, yet it still hid a hint of tension: "Why did you come?"

She had asked this question once before downstairs, but at that time, she had been thrown off by the sudden situation.

The air was silent for a moment.

Natalie stepped forward, looking at her daughter's beautiful face, which resembled her own by fifty percent, and reached out to straighten her slightly messy collar, saying softly:

"Last time, you sent a message asking about the Beast King of the Mess Mountains. After I understood your situation here, I decided to come personally."

As she spoke, she turned slightly to the side, revealing the figure who had been quietly following behind her, and continued: "This is Ms. Grace, a Dragon-Blooded Scholar."

"That legendary dragon in the depths of the Mess Mountains is currently traveling in a distant outer plane and cannot return in the short term."

"But he has entrusted Ms. Grace to come here, hoping to first hold a meeting with your employer, Count Golden Flame, regarding recent events."

Only then did Aurora notice a young woman standing behind her mother.

Previously, she had assumed it was a new maid or attendant her mother had brought along, and had not paid special attention.

But looking closely now, she discovered the other person's uniqueness.

She wore a light blue scholar robe, with complex and unfamiliar silver scale patterns embroidered on the hem, and a pair of slit pupils shimmering with a faint golden light.

Her face was young and delicate, looking only in her early twenties, but those golden slit pupils held a calmness far beyond her age.

Seeing Aurora's gaze, Grace's lips curved slightly. She stepped forward and smiled softly: "Hello, Aurora. I come from the Mist Corridor Academy on the south bank of the Ancient Abyss Mediterranean, and I am currently serving as a professor of Runes and Inscriptions at the academy."
