76: Chapter 76 The Crimson God's Descent Appears! The Primordial Flame! The Chase!

Above the manor, the crimson light shifted and changed.

Suddenly, a colossal blood-colored giant python emerged!

It seemed to be composed entirely of viscous blood and writhing entrails.

Its head was hideous and bore a single horn.

Its scarlet slit pupils were like two miniature blood moons, filled with pure chaos, hunger, and the desire for destruction!

The moment it appeared, a terrifying pressure, like a physical tsunami, swept across Mist Whisper Town!

The townspeople felt as if they were being choked, collapsing to the ground and trembling in fear.

The auras of the Temple Knights also faltered!

"A spirit of blood sacrifice!"

"It is the vessel for the Lord of Scarlet's descent!"

Commander Calvin cried out, his expression grave.

In the sky, the red light receded.

The giant python coiled above the ruined manor.

Meanwhile, from the large hole where the red light had originated, an old man wearing crimson sacrificial robes stumbled out, his face flushed with a sickly, fanatical fervor.

"Caleb! Why have you come out?! How is the sacrifice?!"

The Pale Knight saw this and, both shocked and angry, demanded sharply.

He was fending off the storm-like attacks from Commander Calvin and had no time to spare.

Priest Caleb gasped, his voice hoarse but excited: "It is done!"

"The main part of the sacrifice... has been completed!"

"The power of the Scarlet Blood Moon is gathering, and my Lord's will is descending!"

"As long as... as long as we hold on for a little longer, let my Lord fully adapt to this vessel, and have even a sliver of true power descend..."

"Everyone here will become a tribute for my Lord's awakening! Hahahaha!"

He laughed wildly, appearing like a madman.

In Aria's icy blue eyes, a flicker of clear gravity flashed for the first time.

She knew—she absolutely could not allow the evil god's power to truly descend!

Even if it was just a sliver!

She no longer paid attention to the weakened Count Farrell, her gaze instantly locking onto the blood-colored giant python in the sky and Priest Caleb below.

She must destroy this vessel and interrupt the descent process!

Aria's hands began to move rapidly in front of her chest, forming increasingly complex and profound mudras.

The holy power around her surged like a boiling ocean.

Her pure white sacrificial robes and silver hair fluttered without wind.

The phantom of the Holy Scripture shone brightly, turning pages automatically until it stopped at a page depicting a balance and a sword.

Holy Law: Balance Judgment!

A phantom of a translucent golden greatsword appeared out of thin air above her head!

On one side of the greatsword was the shining morning light, and on the other, a cold crescent moon. In the center of the blade was a balance made of light, which was slowly tilting.

A terrifying power of strict order descended with a boom!

Aria pointed with her fingers and swiped gently downward at the blood-colored giant python in the sky.

Judgment: Sever Evil and Return to Void!

The phantom of the golden greatsword trembled slightly; it did not slash, but the balance in the center of the blade suddenly tilted completely toward the side representing evil, chaos, and blasphemy!

"Hum—!!!" A strange, vibrating sound rang out.

The blood-colored giant python in the sky, which had just condensed, stiffened, and let out a shrill, agonizing wail!

Its phantom of viscous blood and entrails began to sizzle as if thrown into a raging fire, rapidly dissolving!

The rules and scarlet divine power that constituted its existence were being forcibly negated by that powerful Balance Judgment force.

Stripped away, and then returned to nothingness!

"No—!!" Priest Caleb let out a desperate scream; he could feel his connection to the blood python being brutally severed by a higher-order rule force!

"Stop her! Quickly, stop her!" He roared in the direction of the Pale Knight.

Seeing this, the scarlet light behind the Pale Knight's mask flickered wildly.

He knew—if he didn't use his trump card now, everything would be over!

He suddenly forced an explosion of battle aura, pushing Commander Calvin back a step, and then pulled a cracked, pitch-black small skull from his bosom and crushed it fiercely!

"In the name of my Lord—"

"Scarlet Feast: Bone Cage!"

"Open!"

As the words fell, the entire manor underground shook violently.

The long-prepared magic array was instantly triggered!

Countless pale bone phantoms surged crazily from the ground, twisting and intertwining like living things, instantly forming a huge bone cage.

The black and white cage directly swept Commander Calvin and most of the Temple Knights inside, trapping them temporarily!

"Priestess Aliyah! Watch out!" Commander Calvin roared upon seeing this, slashing wildly at the bones with his sword, but he couldn't break through for the moment.

This was the moment!

The Pale Knight and the severely injured Count Farrell exchanged a glance, reaching a tacit understanding in an instant.

The Pale Knight's figure exploded with a bang, turning into a desperate scarlet blood shadow, carrying bone-chilling evil and madness, and lunged straight at Aria, who was maintaining her divine art!

Meanwhile, Count Farrell, with extreme resentment flashing in his eyes, directly burned his battle aura origin, forcibly activating some kind of overdraft forbidden technique!

The two, one from the left and one from the right, with resolute postures, directly used their respective killing moves to attack Aria!

In the crowd of onlookers, Rowan took it all in.

His heart tightened.

However, Aria, who was at the center of the storm, merely swept a faint glance at the two incoming attackers.

Her eyes were void of sorrow or joy.

Suddenly, a cluster of pure white flames leaped up!

The flame was not burning; it was more like an existence surging from the depths of her bloodline!

Pure, ancient, and carrying the primitive majesty to dispel all evil and wickedness!

Morning Light: Primordial Fire!

Facing their fierce assault, she did not dodge, but simply guided the unfinished divine art brilliance in her hand, and that wisp of pure white flame bloomed quietly.

The light of the flame was not blinding, but it made all the scarlet blood shadows that touched it melt like snow.

The blood shadow transformed by the Pale Knight crashed into this patch of pure white flame, caught off guard.

His entire body was instantly ignited by this domineering white flame!

Wisps of red smoke rose from his body as he let out a shrill, inhuman scream!

Count Farrell was even more miserable.

His attack completely spun out of control and backfired the moment it touched the white flame.

The illusory power brought by the forbidden technique was burned away, and the remaining white flame slammed directly into his chest.

He flew backward like a broken sack, slamming heavily onto the ground.

His chest was charred and sunken, and blood mixed with fragments of his entrails poured continuously from his mouth.

Count Farrell struggled to lift his head.

Aria's calm figure and the still-flickering pure white flame were reflected in his eyes.

He muttered in a daze: "No... impossible..."

"This is... the Windsor Family's Primordial Fire..."

"How could it be awakened to such an extent!!!"

He looked at the figure in the air and roared in terror!

The resentment in his eyes was finally completely swallowed by boundless despair and the desire to survive.

Escape! Must escape!

If I don't escape, I'll die!

I'll really die here!

And then—this Count, after getting up, turned around directly, knocked aside the Temple Knight at his side, and fled frantically toward the outside of Mist Whisper Town without looking back!

His speed erupted to the limit, and in the blink of an eye, he disappeared into the pervasive red fog, leaving only a trail of dark golden blood dripping along the way.

On the other side, the Pale Knight, having been forced back, barely steadied his figure, his gaze from behind the mask catching the retreating back of Count Farrell.

He was stunned for a moment, then ignited with a flash of rage.

"Trash!!!" He growled, his voice hoarse and distorted.

But he showed no intention of retreating.

In his eyes, a more desperate, all-in determination rose sharply!

Aria glanced faintly at the direction in which Count Farrell had fled, with no thought of pursuing.

Her full attention was focused on the blood-colored giant python being rapidly purified in the air, and on the Pale Knight whose aura had suddenly become chilling again.

...In the crowd of onlookers, thoughts raced through Rowan's mind.

The Church side had already gained the absolute upper hand.

Aria's strength was unfathomable, suppressing two Great Knights single-handedly, far exceeding his previous estimates...

Count Farrell was severely injured, dying, and running away...

After a moment of thought, he no longer hesitated.

He quietly withdrew from the shivering yet still watching townspeople and headed straight in the direction where Count Farrell had fled, pursuing him.

This was an excellent opportunity!

An opportunity to... settle old scores, and perhaps even exchange for a rich reward.

After all, it was visible to the naked eye that after this storm, the noble forces of Gino County would inevitably undergo a major reshuffle.

Before the dust settled, whoever held the chips first would be able to seize the initiative in the new game.

And chips needed to be seized by oneself.
