142: Crazy knocking, repair success

A deafening sound echoed.

As Copperbeard and the others' hammers fell.

The golden liquid gushing from the steel furnace stopped at the furnace's opening.

An invisible force blocked it.

The gushing golden liquid instantly fell.

Then, it surged up again.

Copperbeard and the other dwarves had anticipated this situation.

Their hammers began to swing continuously.

The hammers incessantly struck the steel furnace, and booming sounds continuously emanated.

Looking down from above, one could see the golden liquid inside the steel furnace constantly churning and falling.

The Dragon Scale Jade Wall that Qin Tian had previously placed inside also rose and fell with it.

As time passed, Copperbeard and the other dwarves were completely drenched in sweat.

The steel furnace gradually returned to calm, and the golden liquid inside no longer churned.

The Dragon Scale Jade Wall also disappeared.

Copperbeard and the other dwarves stopped their hammers, picked up the equipment souls they had prepared on the ground, and threw them into the steel furnace.

Colorful Mythical Souls, golden Epic Souls, orange Legendary Souls…

Countless equipment souls of various colors.

Fell into the steel furnace.

It was as if water droplets had fallen into a pot of boiling oil.

The previously calm steel furnace instantly erupted again.

The golden liquid violently churned, then surged upwards, more intensely than before.

Seeing this, Copperbeard and the other dwarves quickly swung their hammers again.

Desperately striking the steel furnace.

But this time, the steel furnace began to continuously release counter-shock force.

Immediately, two dwarves fell to the ground.

"Quickly, fill in!"

Copperbeard roared loudly.

Immediately, two reserve dwarves picked up the hammers on the ground and continued to strike.

But the counter-shock force of the steel furnace was too strong.

It was Copperbeard's first time repairing a forbidden holy item, and this had exceeded his expectations.

More dwarves began to fall.

The dwarves who had taken their place were also about to collapse.

"Are we going to fail?"

Copperbeard desperately swung his hammer.

But as dwarves continuously fell, personnel gaps began to appear.

The liquid inside the steel furnace was about to burst out.

Once it burst out, it would mean repair failure.

Qin Tian stood by, observing Copperbeard and the others' actions.

Upon seeing dwarves fall and no one to replace them, Qin Tian directly rushed over and picked up a hammer from the ground.

"Don't make a move. This equipment repair is not a battle; it won't work with just combat power."

Copperbeard saw Qin Tian's action and quickly tried to dissuade him.

He understood Qin Tian's feelings, but now was definitely not the time for recklessness.

Qin Tian held the hammer in his hand, a thoughtful expression on his face.

He didn't strike the steel furnace directly but casually swung it in the air.

As Qin Tian swung, just as he expected, the hammer's proficiency began to rise.

While swinging the hammer, Qin Tian observed Copperbeard's movements even more carefully.

This repair of the Dragon Scale Jade Wall primarily relied on the steel furnace.

Copperbeard and the other dwarves used their hammers to control the force and striking frequency, thereby activating the steel furnace's effect.

As Qin Tian swung the hammer, its proficiency increased.

Copperbeard's movements became clearer in Qin Tian's eyes.

The frequency and force of the swings became increasingly clear to Qin Tian.

He could even completely imitate them.

Copperbeard let out a sigh of relief when he saw Qin Tian not striking the steel furnace.

It had reached the most crucial stage; at this moment, the striking force and frequency absolutely could not be disrupted.

Because several dwarves had already fallen, the remaining dwarves needed to endure stronger shocks from the steel furnace.

The speed at which dwarves fell began to accelerate, and soon only Copperbeard and Jerry were left.

"Give up, we failed this time."

"Stop striking, or you'll lose your lives."

"We underestimated the difficulty of repairing a forbidden holy item; this is not something we can repair at the moment."

...

Despite the dwarves' constant dissuasion, Copperbeard and Jerry still struck desperately.

The liquid seeping from their bodies was not sweat; it had turned into red blood.

The steel furnace's current counter-shock force was entirely borne by the two of them.

If this continued, they would be shaken to death.

But Copperbeard and Jerry continued to strike.

Their hammers were simultaneously raised and fell upon the steel furnace.

Again and again, the sound made the dwarves' scalps tingle.

Copperbeard and Jerry's eyes had begun to lose focus, a sign that consciousness was about to be lost, but their hammers in hand continued to strike.

Both had a belief in their hearts: they would never stop striking unless they died.

Just as Copperbeard and Jerry's consciousness was about to dissipate.

When their hammers fell on the steel furnace.

A loud bang suddenly erupted, more violent than the striking sound when all the dwarves were present before.

This sound made the two, whose consciousness had been dissipating, become clear-headed.

"Qin Tian!"

Copperbeard and Jerry exclaimed in unison.

Qin Tian, at some unknown point, had already stood beside them, holding a hammer, which was currently resting on the steel furnace.

"Keep striking."

Qin Tian's tone was calm.

But it was like a strong stimulant injected into the bodies of the two dwarves.

Copperbeard and Jerry exchanged glances.

Although they didn't know how Qin Tian had done it.

But Qin Tian had indeed done it.

That last strike had not caused the repair process to fail; instead, it had advanced the repair process a step further.

It was almost successful.

The hammers were simultaneously raised by the three, then smashed onto the steel furnace again.

With Qin Tian's addition, Copperbeard and Jerry clearly felt that the steel furnace's counter-shock force had weakened.

They could already feel the call of success.

Copperbeard and Jerry, while striking violently, roared frantically.

The hammers slammed down with a clang, venting everything in their hearts.

On Qin Tian's side, although the furnace's counter-shock force had no effect on him just now.

But his emotions were also ignited by the two dwarves.

The three of them together, constantly roaring, constantly striking the steel furnace frantically.

The liquid inside the steel furnace churned even more violently.

Even the dwarves standing far away, who were not participating in the repair, could feel the surging of the liquid inside the steel furnace.

At its peak, it declines.

After the liquid inside the steel furnace surged to a certain extent, it gradually began to calm down.

The speed of churning became slower and slower.

Once again, it returned to calm, just like before.

As the steel furnace returned to calm.

Copperbeard and Jerry stopped striking.

Qin Tian quickly stopped as well when he saw this.

"Thank Thor, thank Lord Qin Tian."

Copperbeard and Jerry shouted excitedly.

This repair of the forbidden holy item was ultimately successful.

The two looked at Qin Tian, their eyes filled with admiration.

This was admiration beyond martial prowess, but rather for Qin Tian's previous striking of the steel furnace.

Now, in the hearts of the two, and even all dwarves, Qin Tian had become an existence comparable to Thor, whom they spoke of.

Qin Tian was not interested in the dwarves' admiration; his gaze fell upon the steel furnace.

A prompt sound had already rung out, informing Qin Tian that the Dragon Scale Jade Wall had been successfully repaired.
