93: Don't go in, it's dangerous inside

Qin Tian, with his three pets, had barely taken two steps when he caught the attention of a monster not far away.

A transparent, ghost-like creature quickly floated towards Qin Tian.

Qin Tian looked up, and the monster's information appeared.

Fear Ghost: Level 120 Elite Monster

Health: 220000

Attack: 6344

Skills: Undead Fear, Soul Shock, Virtualization

Although it was just an elite monster, its health was already close to that of the Nightmare-level dungeon's Lord BOSS, Gedo the Great King, and its attack power was far superior.

This was the absolute suppression brought by level; no matter how high the growth, a low level was useless.

As the Fear Ghost got closer, a sharp shriek rang out from its mouth, and a sound wave, enough to make the soul tremble, descended towards Qin Tian.

[Soul Shock]

One of the Fear Ghost's killer moves.

[- 0]

The sound wave landed on Qin Tian, and a damage number floated above Qin Tian's head.

The Fear Ghost, which had been rushing towards Qin Tian, instantly lost its ferocious expression and became incredibly shocked.

Fear Ghost: ???

It was the first time it had seen such an outrageous defense from Qin Tian.

Without the slightest hesitation, the Fear Ghost turned around and fled.

They also possessed their own consciousness; facing an invincible existence, they would not foolishly continue to attack.

Unfortunately, Qin Tian had no intention of letting it escape; Qin Tian, riding his Wild Horse, charged forward.

Under the blessing of the max-level Master Riding Skill, the Wild Horse was incredibly fast, catching up to the Fear Ghost in a flash.

Seeing Qin Tian catch up, the Fear Ghost quickly activated its Virtualization skill, and its already transparent body became even more ethereal.

This skill was similar to a Thief's evasion, capable of increasing evasion chance by 80% for a short period.

Making it very difficult for enemies to hit.

But unfortunately, it encountered Qin Tian.

Qin Tian raised his hand and unleashed a sword strike.

The Dragon Sealing Blade successfully pierced the Fear Ghost's body, and a massive critical yellow damage number floated up.

[- 563828]

Killed in one hit.

Qin Tian's exaggerated attack power meant that even a normal attack was something the Fear Ghost could not withstand.

He glanced at the equipment that had dropped on the ground; there was nothing valuable.

However, Qin Tian's level directly increased by one after killing this Fear Ghost.

The other three pets, being by Qin Tian's side, also gained experience.

Due to their low levels, the levels of these three pets soared rapidly.

Golden light continuously lit up around them.

After killing one Fear Ghost, Qin Tian took his three pets and walked towards another one not far away.

...

Along the way, as Fear Ghosts were continuously killed, Qin Tian's and his pets' levels also continuously increased.

Although they were just wild elite monsters, they had the [Billion-Fold Upgrade] talent.

Therefore, every monster allowed Qin Tian and his pets to gain an excessive amount of experience.

Qin Tian's level had already risen to 123, and all three pets had risen to over level 100, greatly increasing their strength.

Especially the Frost Giant Dragon [Jianguo].

Because it leveled up one tier every 25 levels.

Although it was now level 100, it was already Tier 4, directly two tiers higher than the other two pets.

Its attributes were incredibly exaggerated; although it couldn't kill a Fear Ghost in one hit like Qin Tian.

It was just a matter of a few more attacks.

Especially the Frost Giant Dragon's exaggerated health and defense, even if surrounded by a dozen Fear Ghosts, it could easily handle them.

As the pets' strength increased, they were sufficient to handle the surrounding monsters without Qin Tian by their side.

Qin Tian once again adopted a free-range mode, letting these three pets level up on their own.

Qin Tian, meanwhile, continued towards the Ice and Snow Palace.

As he got closer.

The Ice and Snow Palace slowly appeared before Qin Tian's eyes.

An incredibly massive palace, entirely constructed from ice.

It was seamless, without the slightest gap, looking less like it was made of stacked ice blocks and more like a single, incredibly massive block of ice carved into the shape of the palace before him.

Qin Tian continued forward on his Wild Horse, his brows slightly furrowed.

Logically speaking, the closer one got to the BOSS, the more monsters there should be around.

However, the situation before him was exactly the opposite.

As he got closer to the Ice and Snow Palace, there were fewer and fewer monsters around, and they were still Fear Ghosts.

He didn't see a single one of the Ice and Snow Palace's iconic gatekeeper monsters, the Frost Guard.

"Someone has already been here."

Qin Tian thought to himself, and the Wild Horse beneath him accelerated again, carrying Qin Tian quickly towards the Ice and Snow Palace.

Now Qin Tian only hoped that the Ice and Snow Queen inside was not yet dead, otherwise, he would have come here for nothing.

The National War was about to begin, and he didn't have much time left.

If he couldn't quickly find that mythical mount, then he would have to deal with the experience orb matter first.

After all, level was the top priority.

Just as Qin Tian was about to approach the Ice and Snow Palace, a group of players appeared.

These players all wore flame-like emblems on their chests, clearly belonging to the same Guild.

"Don't go in, it's dangerous inside."

Huang Shi, the Guild Leader of Fentian Guild, stood up and blocked Qin Tian's path.

Qin Tian looked at these people before him, all of them looking disheartened.

Their bodies trembled continuously, as if frozen stiff.

Their health was constantly dropping, and the Healers on the side continuously used recovery skills.

They were already very close to the Ice and Snow Palace, so close that they could even hear the intense sounds of battle and intermittent shouts from inside.

This group of people had their BOSS stolen.

Qin Tian instantly understood the situation before him.

He continued to move forward.

"Inside is Meng Lei Guild's elite group; these people have no bottom line, they will kill you if you go in."

Huang Shi saw that Qin Tian had no intention of stopping and quickly explained.

In his opinion, Qin Tian seemed like a passing sightseer, and a lucky, reckless youth at that.

Winter's End Canyon was a very dangerous place; even he wouldn't dare come alone.

Qin Tian, riding his Wild Horse, not only wandered here but also encountered them before entering the palace.

Huang Shi had to stop Qin Tian to avoid unnecessary casualties.

"You should leave quickly, otherwise, when Meng Lei Guild's people finish fighting the BOSS and come out, you won't be able to leave even if you want to."

Huang Shi said to Qin Tian with extreme seriousness.

The reason they stayed here was not that they didn't want to leave, but that they wanted to leave but couldn't.

They could only stay here and wait for Meng Lei Guild's people to come out for a decisive battle.

When Huang Shi's large group was fighting the Ice and Snow Queen, Meng Lei Guild's large group appeared, and instead of directly stealing the BOSS, they used a dirty trick.

When the Ice and Snow Queen's Ice and Snow abnormal status skill stacked to its maximum layers on Huang Shi's people.

Meng Lei Guild's large group snatched the item that removed this abnormal status from Huang Shi's Guild.

Unable to remove the abnormal status, Huang Shi's Guild members remained in the Ice and Snow state.

Once they moved, they would continuously lose health, and it would become more severe over time.

Affected by this abnormal status and caught between the Ice and Snow Queen and Meng Lei Guild's pincer attack, Huang Shi and others had no choice but to retreat.

But they could only retreat this far.

Now, the per-second health loss was already extremely terrifying; if not for the Healers constantly healing, casualties would appear immediately.

If they moved again, health would drop even faster, and the Healers wouldn't be able to keep up.

"Why aren't you leaving yet?"

Huang Shi looked at Qin Tian; he saw that Qin Tian had stopped, but had no intention of leaving.

Instead, he raised his hand towards Huang Shi, and a sacred light flew from Qin Tian's hand, descending towards Huang Shi.
