189: Old acquaintance

The cry for help came from deep within Bai Gu Cliff.

It was a man's voice.

It was a bit faint, but its penetrative power was very strong.

Perhaps some item was used, causing the voice to echo almost throughout the entire Bai Gu Cliff.

Qin Tian, who had originally intended to leave, turned around upon hearing the voice and walked towards the depths of Bai Gu Cliff.

He was somewhat curious about the voice because he felt as if he had heard it somewhere before.

Yet, he couldn't recall who the owner of the voice was.

But one thing Qin Tian was certain of was that he had heard this voice in China, meaning the one crying for help was very likely a China player.

It wasn't impossible to encounter a China player in the Sakura Country area.

Niu Potian, whom Qin Tian had encountered before, was alone, traveling thousands of miles to Sakura Country to kill Sakura Country players.

The owner of this voice was clearly not Niu Potian.

But Qin Tian was also a bit strange; he had come to Sakura Country after participating in the National War.

Now he had already reached the Tier 8 Area, and logically speaking, he shouldn't encounter anyone he knew here.

Qin Tian, with his two pets, continued to walk deeper into Bai Gu Cliff.

Along the way, since all the monsters had already been cleared by Qin Tian, there were no obstacles.

He only saw many circular, fortress-like structures built from white bones.

Qin Tian's gaze fell upon them, and a prompt appeared, indicating that upon entering, he would not be attacked by bone monsters.

These circular fortresses appeared at regular intervals, extending from the outermost edge of Bai Gu Cliff all the way inside.

“So that's how it is.”

Qin Tian instantly understood the purpose of these things.

No area was unsolvable, and Bai Gu Cliff was no exception; ordinary teams wanting to go deep here had to rely on these bone fortresses.

As long as they withstood the attacks of the bone monsters and quickly moved from one bone fortress to the next, they could reach the depths of the bone fortresses.

However, because countless bone monsters would appear as soon as one entered Bai Gu Cliff, no players dared to venture in.

As for Qin Tian, since he had already killed all the monsters, he didn't need these bone fortresses.

However, these things could serve as navigation, perfectly guiding Qin Tian's direction.

Qin Tian followed the locations where the bone fortresses were built, moving forward, going deeper and deeper into Bai Gu Cliff, and the cry for help became clearer and clearer.

The bone fortresses slowly disappeared completely, and a cliff appeared before Qin Tian's eyes.

This was the deepest part of Bai Gu Cliff, and the cry for help came from below the cliff.

Qin Tian stood on top of the cliff, looking down; clouds and mist swirled, and it was bottomless.

“Has someone come?”

“That's great! Please go to the cave next to me, kill the skeleton monster inside, and help me escape. I will be eternally grateful.”

From below the cliff, a voice came again.

This time it was no longer just a simple cry for help; more information was conveyed.

Hearing this voice, Qin Tian's brows furrowed slightly.

He was too lazy to accept tasks issued by NPCs, and he maintained a high degree of suspicion when facing words from players.

Qin Tian first got up and, as the voice said, walked to the side. Indeed, there was a cave.

The cave was not large. Qin Tian put away his two pets and walked in alone.

Inside this cave, he indeed saw a monster.

It was a humanoid skeleton monster, no different from the ones Qin Tian had killed outside before.

White Bone Child

Level: 433

HP: 40,000,000

Attack: 2,000,000

Skills: Bone Transformation, Clone, Bone-piercing

Its attributes were also very ordinary; it didn't look special at all.

But the more ordinary it was, the more bizarre it became.

Such an ordinary monster, yet it was arranged to stay in a separate cave; it simply didn't make sense.

Moreover, this White Bone Child had extremely low aggression.

Qin Tian was already very close to it, yet it remained sitting still, showing no intention of attacking.

Qin Tian didn't immediately attack either. Instead, he walked out of the cave and sat down on Bai Gu Cliff.

The more anxious the situation, the less one should be anxious.

Qin Tian understood this principle.

As he sat down on the cliff, the entire Bai Gu Cliff became quiet again.

The cry for help did not sound again.

Time passed by minute by minute.

Less than five minutes later, the person below the cliff couldn't hold back, and the voice sounded again:

“Alright, I hid some information. If you kill the Tong Zi monster in that cave, you will be teleported here to me, replacing me and letting me out. But you don't have to worry, once I'm out, I have a 100% certainty of being able to rescue you.”

“As long as you are willing to save me, once I'm out, I will give you a Mythical Item.”

Qin Tian didn't speak; his gaze fell below the cliff.

Amidst the swirling mists, he saw a huge, illusory figure, appearing and disappearing.

The owner of the voice, thinking Qin Tian was not satisfied with the reward, gritted his teeth and continued, “Two Mythical Items! This is my bottom line. They are Mythical Items, not Mythical Equipment. The value of these things is much higher than Mythical Equipment.”

He had been trapped here for too long, and his condition was getting worse and worse. If he couldn't escape soon, even if someone was willing to swap with him, he wouldn't be able to get out.

“Deal.”

Qin Tian said indifferently, standing up from the cliff.

Hearing Qin Tian agree, the voice let out a long sigh of relief, then, still somewhat uneasy, he cautioned:

“Although the monster in the cave isn't strong, you must attack quickly and kill it swiftly. Don't drag out the fight for too long…”

“Damn it, what are you doing down here! Are you crazy?!”

The voice hadn't finished cautioning when he couldn't help but let out a wild cry.

Through an item, he sensed that after Qin Tian stood up, he did not turn and walk towards the cave.

Instead, he leaped, jumping down from the cliff.

He was indeed trapped at the bottom of the cliff, but not just simply trapped; he was guarded by the most powerful BOSS of Bai Gu Cliff.

Jumping down so recklessly would definitely attract the BOSS's attention.

Thinking of the BOSS's power, despair filled his heart.

He had finally waited for an opportunity to escape, but now it was completely hopeless.

As Qin Tian fell from the cliff, Death Warhorse appeared beneath him.

The reason he jumped was that he had seen the BOSS's figure in the swirling mists.

Qin Tian would not listen to the trapped person's words and do any swapping; he would only solve the problem in his own way.

Just like coming to Bai Gu Cliff, he didn't need to rely on the bone fortresses to avoid the attacks of the bone monsters.

Qin Tian also didn't need to kill the White Bone Child in the cave; instead, he chose to directly kill the BOSS guarding below.

As Qin Tian continued to descend, the illusory BOSS figure became clearer and clearer.

A giant dragon made entirely of white bones.

Qin Tian also saw the appearance of the person trapped beneath the cliff.

“So it's you.”

“It's actually you!”
