Chapter 198: Are you playing hard to get?

Just as Noah said, I was able to eat. I enjoyed the rice so well, ate meat, and even took an extra portion.Damar and Fenric were super relieved, Noah laughed, enjoying the taste of rice he had never tasted before.

I guessed even if they were a bit civilized, they still hadn’t learned to cook.

It was hard for him at first, since it was hot and we were all used to hot food already. I convinced him that it wouldn’t taste as nice once it was cold and he gave it a try, at the expense of burning his own tongue.

But he loved it.

Yet, I worried for him since his tongue is now swollen.

"I’m a beast. I don’t fear burns." He said, but I sighed. What will he do if he loses his taste buds?

"That’s rather careless of you to say," I said, taking a look at his mouth for him.

We had no herbs with a cooling effect, and I believe if we did, Damar would not release it, saying something along the lines of it being kept for my own use. What would we do if a case where I needed it arose?

And so, I did not pry his ’pockets’ open.

It was already late, and sleep was drawing closer but we were still very much awake.

"It’s not a big issue," Noah said as he drew closer, his arm suddenly wrapping around my waist and pulling me closer. "I’ll just use your saliva to make it feel better."

"Do you also believe that nonsense?" I asked, my voice pitching a little too high and then I cleared my throat. "I mean, it’s not possible for my saliva to help heal your burned tongue."

"Honey, that’s for me to decide." He said, grinning as he had the upper hand over me and I flushed.

Under the night sky, he was so handsome. His tanned skin was manly, his muscles were ripped and his long hair... I reached for it and then slid it over his shoulder... It spelled night.

I loved Damar’s silky silver hair, and he let me play with it, but sometimes I worry I might mess up the silky smooth feel, so I don’t touch it too much. But if it’s Noah’s hair... I can even plant twigs to make him look like a reindeer and I wouldn’t feel guilty.

I chuckled and moved my hand to his chest, sliding down from his shoulders slowly.

"You know," my hand stiffened over the hardness of his chest. "For someone with a burnt tongue, you sure talk well."

"What can I say?" He leaned even closer, his lips brushing over mine. "It’s in my blood to do things well, no matter what situation I find myself in."

I looked at his eyes and traced down to his lashes. There, I noticed under his right eye, he had two tiny dots... Birthmarks that one would never be able to notice unless they came this close.

His eyes were fierce, like a warrior, and his mouth was sharp, like a viper... I brushed my lips against his but did not give him the kiss on his lips first. I moved my lips to his right eye and kissed where his birthmarks were.

"Are you playing hard to get?" He asked.

"No, I’m just taking my time," I said and then kissed his cheek before planning to kiss the tip of his nose when he tilted his head and caught my lips with his.

He kissed me, ravaging my soft lips like a needy puppy while holding me firmly against his mouth.

He slurped on my tongue and I felt the roughness of his, tasting the burnt and the aftertaste of the meal we had shared.

"You smell lovely," his voice husked over our lips as he inhaled deeply and then pressed his face on the crook of my neck. "I don’t... I don’t think I want to settle for just a kiss." He said and looked up at me, his eyes screaming his desire to hold me.

I pursed my lips. It won’t hurt to do it again. I thought, but just then, another pair of arms wrapped around me from behind.

It was a pair of cold, slender hands compared to the masculinity of Noah’s.

"Ari," Damar called, his voice soft and needy. "Don’t pay attention to just that pup."

Noah got irked being called a pup.

"Did you just call me a pup?"

He calls everyone like they’re kids, so deal with it without violence, please.

I rested my head back on Damar’s shoulder, reaching my hand to touch his chin, and then moved up slowly, my thumb brushing his lips softly.

"Are you jealous?" I asked and he nodded, not even wasting a second. "Do you want to have me as well?" Once again, he nodded and then dropped his head so his lips could meet mine.

He kissed me, slow and tender, his long slit tongue searching every crook and cranny of my mouth, making sure there was no trace of the wolf left, and then he opened his eyes, shooting a cold, murderous glare at Noah.

Noah scoffed.

"What a cute attempt to make me mad." He said. "But you succeeded. You’re not the only one who wants her, you know." He tried to pull me away from Damar when Fenric spoke.

"Arinya," I turned to look at him kneeling close to us.

He looked like a well-behaved boy, hiding his erection between his thighs so it wouldn’t shoot up on his skirt. He flushed, feeling he was being a little too forward but he couldn’t just stay back and watch.

"It’s been days since we did it." He said. "And I... I want to touch you too. I want to kiss you and mate with you. Won’t you let me?" He whimpered.

Gosh, he’s supposed to be a big cat, but he’s acting like a big dog instead, and I... I can’t seem to resist.

I looked at him, looked at Damar, and then at Noah.

"Everyone wants to do it," I said. "Including me," I bit my lip. "But it’s going to be a disaster if we just charge in like this, you know. So, you all have to promise to be gentle and not dig your claws into each other’s throats just because one of you is taking too long to finish. Remember, I’m currently pregnant and you all are... Important to me. Do you agree?"

They stayed silent for a while, Fenric and Damar realizing their contempt might actually hurt me more than protect me. Then, they looked at Noah.

"We’ll play fair," Fenric said.

"I won’t bite him." Ah, that’s the nicest thing you’ve said to him this whole time.

"And I will try not to be a dick in the ass." Noah casually said, grinning. "But I might just be first to shove my dick in your ass."

I gulped.

"Fair enough," I said and got out of their hold, standing to my feet and walking a few paces away from them.

I looked at them, one at the other, took a deep breath to prepare myself for my first foursome, and then took off my clothes.

"If we’ve come to an agreement, you shouldn’t keep me waiting for much longer, right?"

In other words, hurry up and fuck me.
