Chapter 439 Bone Prison City Falls, Remnants of Demonic Bones Eradicated

Gu Ya's corpse still lay on the city wall, dark green blood trickling down through the gaps in the bone bricks.

On the wall, hundreds of defenders ran like headless flies, screaming and shoving each other. Some tried to jump from the other side of the wall, only to be cut down in mid-air by the arriving Reverse Path elites; others knelt and begged for mercy, only to be trampled by their fleeing comrades.

Collapse—total collapse.

Nightmare ignored these small fry, his gaze already locked on the highest point in the city—that towering palace constructed entirely of massive, pale bones.

The Demon Bone Hall.

The core of the Demon Bone Tribe and the site of the final resistance.

"Zuo Feng, Right Wing, take fifty men to clear the remnants on the walls. For those who surrender, cripple their cultivation and expel them; for those who resist, kill them."

"Dark Blade, take thirty men and Seal the four gates. If even one escapes, bring me your head."

"The rest of you, follow me."

The orders were concise and left no room for doubt.

"Yes!"

The three took their orders and quickly dispersed with their men.

Nightmare took a step forward, his figure like black lightning as he charged straight for the Demon Bone Hall.

---

Before the Demon Bone Hall, three elderly figures stood side by side.

All three were dressed in grey-white robes and held bone staves. Their faces were as withered as thousand-year-old corpses, but the aura emanating from them was exceptionally powerful—Middle Stage Chaos Supreme Realm. Furthermore, their auras were faintly connected, clearly indicating they were masters of a combined attack technique.

"Outsider fiend, halt."

The Elder in the center slowly raised his head, eerie green flames flickering in his eye sockets.

"This is the Demon Bone Ancestral Hall. One more step forward, and it will be..."

"Death."

Nightmare didn't wait for him to finish; he was already within ten yards of the three.

"Myriad Bone Origin Return Formation—Rise!"

The three Elders slammed their bone staves into the ground simultaneously!

Boom—!!

The entire Demon Bone Hall shook violently. Countless cracks split the ground, and myriad pale bone hands reached out from the fissures to grab at Nightmare! At the same time, a massive spectral bone Formation appeared above the hall, dropping thousands of bone chains like a heavenly net to entrap him!

This was the Demon Bone Tribe's clan-protecting Formation, which had once trapped and killed Late Stage Chaos Supreme experts!

Nightmare looked up at the descending net of bone chains, the Demonic Flame in his eyes burning calmly.

"Decent Formation."

He offered a brief evaluation and then formed hand Seals.

Inside his body, three dao reversal keys resonated frantically!

"But, the three of you are too weak."

"Dao Reversal Unification: Heaven Incineration."

Pitch-black Demonic Flame soared from his body! It wasn't just fire, but a pillar of black light that seemed solid! The moment the pillar touched the bone chains, they melted and snapped like snow meeting fire!

Before the bone hands on the ground could even touch Nightmare, they were swept by the aftershock of the Demonic Flame and turned to ash!

The three Elders' faces changed drastically as they simultaneously spat out blood—the Formation had been forcibly broken, and they were suffering the backlash!

"Impossible... The Myriad Bone Origin Return Formation is an ancestral array, how could it..." the center Elder rasped.

Nightmare gave them no chance to breathe.

He raised his hand and closed his fingers in a phantom grip.

Three black spears condensed from Demonic Flame appeared out of thin air, their tips locked onto the trio's foreheads.

"Go."

The spears pierced through the air.

Puchi! Puchi! Puchi!

Three soft sounds.

The foreheads of the three Elders were pierced simultaneously. Eerie green flames surged from the wounds, only to be instantly devoured by the Demonic Flame.

Their corpses fell to the ground, all signs of life gone.

Nightmare didn't even spare them a glance as he stepped into the Demon Bone Hall.

The interior was vast and empty, save for a white bone throne in the center and a closed bone door behind it.

He walked to the bone door and pressed his hand against it.

There was a Restriction on the door, a final Seal placed by the three Elders using their own Origin.

Demonic Flame pulsed from Nightmare's palm.

Sizzle...

The Restriction shattered like paper.

The bone door slowly opened.

Behind the door lay a massive space—the Demon Bone Tribe's treasury.

Piles of chaos origin stones were stacked like small mountains; a rough estimate put them at no less than ten thousand crates. Beside the stone piles, hundreds of bone weapons and armor were on display, all emitting significant Chaos fluctuations.

In the deepest part, three items were placed on separate jade pedestals:

On the left pedestal was a fist-sized crystal core with Chaos liquid flowing inside—a Chaos Origin Crystal Core.

On the right pedestal were three rolls of ancient Jade Slips made from Chaos beast hide—Ancient Chaos Legacies.

On the center pedestal, a bead that was entirely pale white and covered in natural bone patterns floated quietly, emitting a heart-palpitating Chaos pressure—the bone path celestial pearl.

Nightmare walked to the center pedestal and picked up the bone path celestial pearl.

The bead felt warm to the touch, pulsating as if it were alive. He could clearly feel the bead's attraction to chaos origin—if one wore this bead while cultivating, the speed of absorbing chaos origin would increase by at least thirty percent.

"Good stuff."

He put away the Celestial Bead, then swept the Chaos Origin Crystal Core and the Legacy Jade Slips into his storage space.

As for those Origin stones and weapons, he didn't even look at them—his subordinates would naturally come to inventory and transport them.

When he walked out of the treasury, the sounds of fighting in the city were nearing an end.

Zuo Feng, covered in blood, stepped forward to report:

"Lord, the clearing of the wall guards is complete. Over four hundred were slain, over eight hundred had their cultivation crippled and were expelled, and the rest have surrendered."

Right Wing followed closely behind:

"The blockade of the four gates is finished. A total of thirty-seven people tried to escape; all were hunted down, none were missed."

Dark Blade came forward last, his voice cold:

"There were about two hundred die-hard loyalists hiding in residences and cellars attempting to resist; all have been killed. There are approximately three thousand elderly, weak, women, and children who did not participate in the resistance. How should we handle them?"

Nightmare looked toward the city—on the streets, Demon Bone Tribe civilians could be seen kneeling everywhere, most of them emaciated with terrified eyes.

"Those willing to surrender, let them stay. Those unwilling, expel them from the city and let them fend for themselves."

He turned to look at the towering Demon Bone Hall:

"Burn it."

"Yes!"

Demonic Flames rose, swallowing the entire Demon Bone Hall.

Amidst the soaring firelight, Nightmare's voice spread throughout the city:

"From this day forward, Bone Prison City is renamed 'Dao Reversal Outpost'."

"Leave thirty elites to garrison. The rest, follow me back to the Chaos Stone Cave."

He paused and added:

"Within three days, I want to see order restored to this city."

"Three days later—"

He looked toward the deeper parts of the Grey Mist Wasteland, the final core territory of the Demon Bone Tribe and the hiding place of their leader, Bone Evil.

"It will be time to meet that 'Bone Evil'."
