A tremor rippled across the Redwood Basin as the bone drake twisted its tail and smashed it into Haria.Haria’s aura skin shattered instantly, blood burst from her mouth, and she was hurled away from the impact.

The bone drake released a furious screech, slammed its tail into the ground, and lunged forward to chase after her.

At that very moment, an arrow formed entirely of dense green aura struck its front leg, the limb exploded into fragments from the impact, and its body lost balance.

The earth rumbled as it crashed onto the ground.

Short, enraged cries escaped it as it forced itself back up, the broken fragments of its leg bone snapping and stitching back into place.

Haria, who was streaking towards a hut, spun mid-air and planted her feet onto the ground.

A grunt escaped her lips, she skidded back for a few steps and finally came to a stop.

Yellow, feral aura flickered around her as she released a sharp roar and charged at the bone drake.

The bone drake pushed itself upright, another arrow sank into its shoulder bone, and Haria swung her claws in a crossing arc.

LOST PANTHER’S CLAW — SOLE CROSS!

Her aura surged and took the shape of a massive panther as ten thin slashes burst from her claws and slammed into the bone drake.

The slashes carved through the bone drake’s monstrous body, and the ground shuddered faintly as they struck the earth.

Haria stopped, raised her hands while pointing her claws toward the sky and unleashed a trembling roar.

LOST PANTHER’S CLAW — DANCE OF THE WILD!

Aura poured outward, twisting and quivering around her before forming into a blazing aura panther.

Haria, the Panther, rushed forward, her eyes blazing with savage fury as she circled the bone drake and slashed.

She struck once, twice, thrice, and countless times.

Each swing released multiple cutting waves, and the bone drake’s bones were severed into countless fragments, yet it could only endure the relentless storm of attacks.

From afar, Jura lowered his bow, a smile tugging at his lips as he let out an amused chuckle. "What a beast."

As her aura was completely spent, she lowered her hands and stared at the barely standing bone drake.

She stepped forward, and her beast transformation unravelled; the black fur faded away, her limbs cracked and reformed, returning to their human shape.

A tearing pain coursed through her body, she exhaled a rough breath and looked at the bone drake that was gathering itself to lunge.

The bone drake had almost no intact bones left, its power had diminished drastically, and it struggled just to stand, let alone move.

"Go back to sleep," Haria growled, lifted her leg and slammed it into the ground.

Cracks burst outward from her position, and the earth beneath the bone drake collapsed.

It clawed at the edges of the pit as it fell downward.

Haria kicked it in the skull, and the ground trembled as it crashed into the hole with a heavy thump.

Soil and stone rained down, sealing it underground with one of its claws protruding.

Haria approached the claw, wrapped her arms around it and pulled with all her strength. The bone cracked and tore free from its socket.

The bone drake writhed, sinking deeper into the surrounding earth and stone.

Haria dropped to the ground with a dull thud, gazed at the sky and closed her eyes as a faint smile curved across her lips.

She had given everything she had and... she had won.

Jura glanced towards Haden, and seeing how he was throwing the flame monster all around the crater, he shook his head and began to descend the mountain.

Even as Haria buried the drake, distant explosions echoed from the southwestern crater. Haden was still battling the flame monster, buying the precious seconds Rion desperately required.

A few minutes later, Jura appeared beside Haria, lifted her into his arms and muttered, "You did great."

He took a final glance at the jagged ground that trapped the bone drake before turning around and leaving the place.

The ground trembled occasionally, but no matter how much the bone drake tried, it couldn’t free itself.

The battlefield that had once been filled with thousands of humanoid monsters now held far fewer, and their numbers continued to dwindle with every passing moment.

The humanoid monsters were physically superior to the warriors of Dhaevrak, yet even they could not break through the dark armour forged by none other than the descendant of the God of Forge and Craft, Arok.

On the other hand, the Azrath weapons were able to easily split through the monsters’ horrifying bodies.

The monsters remained standing for only two reasons: first, they possessed near-instant regeneration, and second, they felt no exhaustion.

Of the two, the latter was the more troublesome.

The former meant little, as all that was required was to shatter their cores with a single strike, yet everyone was already feeling the toll of battle.

Their movements had slowed, and most of the squad members were barely able to remain on their feet.

Both Marin and Valak knew that the war could only continue for about an hour, and once it passed, the warriors wouldn’t be able to push themselves.

Normally, a war would be drawn out to weaken the enemy’s morale, but The Remnant and his monstrous army had no need for such tactics, and as a result, the conflict had erupted at full force from the very beginning.

The Dhaevrak had no power over the direction of the war; all they could do was retaliate against The Remnant’s whims.

However, they had one more method to end the war, and that method relied solely on a single person.

That person was none other than the son of the current Sovereign of Crimson Army and the Former princess of Leonara kingdom, Rion Del Haden — the Crownless King of Unsullied Throne.

It was truly ironic that both victory and defeat, the life and death of the warriors who carried the blood of gods, rested in the hands of a seventeen-year-old boy.
