Chapter 151: Fusion

They’re fusing together. Kyle muttered a bit shocked seeing his parent fusing together. Ever since he reunited with them in hell, he knew they would never be the same.

[Incredible.. their gene structure is breaking down into atoms and bonding together as one.] Snow excitedly spoke observing the duo literally becoming one.

Impressive.. the mimic smiled watching xia and Ron morph. It had the perfect opportunity to strike while they were still vulnerable, but didn’t. Seemingly intrigued by them.

The black spread across both their bodies completely enveloping them. Moving with life like it had a mind of it’s own. Forming a single black gooey form like body. With a sharp elongated hardened black claws and feet’s. And a head with two menacing white eyes.

We.. are.. legion. The entity spoke in a deep tone letting out a chilling aura.

Impressive.. I must say you three are by far the most interesting humans I’ve come across during my lifetime. He sincerely said with a calm expression.

But am afraid you’re still no match for me. He chuckled slightly shaking it’s head. Dark shadows engulfing him, disappearing from spot appearing besides the terrifying black entity. The sharp scythe swinging fast for it’s head.

Thud! The scythe was stopped dead in it’s tracks, caught by a hand from the creature.

It caught my attack? The mimic frowned with shocked eyes seeing how the entity easily caught the scythe by the head.

Attempting to pull the scythe out he couldn’t, under the fierce grip from the entity. Twisting it’s head to the side the entity made a 360° degree turn. It’s two hollow white eyes locked on to the stunned mimic.

We.. are.. legion. The entity spoke again it’s hand elongated furiously slashing it’s claw at the mimic chest. But before it connected dark shadows engulfed the mimic.



Haha! You’re just a mindless fool. The mimic grinned unaffected by the entity’s furious slashes in his shadow form.

Bam! Using his scythe he slashed at the entity sending it skidding back. Chunking off some of the black gooey skin.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Stomping it’s foot a part of the dark shadows left his right leg, shooting in a straight line on the floor. Reaching the entity’s leg with the protrusion of the black spikes. Impaling the creature lifting it up a bit in the air.

Roar! The creature roared in pain struggling to break free from the black spikes. Which dug more into it’s skin the more it moved.

It was fun while it lasted, but the end is always inevitable. Slightly shaking his head the mimic calmly walked towards the entity. Gripping the hilt of his scythe tightly with both his handshe attempted to end the creature.

N-no.. I have to help them. Gritting his teeth Kyle struggled to move forward. He’d gotten back somewhat control of both his legs with the extraction process being at 61.

His demon energy and hp were now full. Having rested a bit he recovered some of his stamina so he was confident he could defeat the mimic with the help of his parents and snow.

It isn’t hurting it? Shadows were weak to high elemental damages and dark flames was literally his go to option. Having flames buff added with demon energy. And with it currently being at lv2 he expected somewhat damage dealt.

[I-it’s absorbing it.] Snow stuttered with a shocked tone making Kyle’s face go pale. As this was the first time he’d seen a being absorb his dark flames.

Boom!

It repelled the flames at Kyle the next moment, forcing him to leap off the pillar.

But the shadow wasn’t done.orphing into a menacing griffin it blasted out a dark flames ball from it’s mouth. Dodging to the side Kyle’s mind raced fast on what to do.

His parents were now back to normal but still standing there like mindless zombies. Almost as in some kind of trance.

[Kyle watch out!] Snow yelled but it was too late.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Several bang sounds erupted in front with the protrusion of multiple black spikes. Pressing his foot to the ground he attempted to stop but a jetski of dark flames shot at him.

With no choice he twisted his body lightning fast. Throwing out a small black ball hitting the Griffen spot on. Entering it’s mouth which was still wide open.

Mhm. Kyle blocked the jetski of dark flames with the katana. Reducing the flames effects a bit. But lost control of his body crashing in to the black spikes.

Argh! He screamed in pain feeling his entire body immediately go numb. Some of the black spikes entering into his system through his veins which were now black.

[User has been infected!]

[Deploying counter measures..]

[Error! Unknown poison detected!]

[Ho will deplete by ten every second.]



Various system notifications flashed before Kyle’s eye. He couldn’t keep up with them though, feeling his life draining rapidly.

[No! There has to be a way dammit! If I could stop the heart for a few seconds I could flush out the toxins from his vessels.]

[Yes.. that would work.] Snow mumbled telepathically shutting down both his hearts. Working fast she attempted flushing out the toxins with his cells. But unfortunately, the venom had already eaten too deep into both his heart.

Today’s a good day to die. Kyle joked. He could see the Griffen was pinned to the ground by the black chains. He didn’t know how or why, but thankfully it subdued the creature.

[Idiot! You’re not the only one dying ya know.] Snow angrily retorded making Kyle grin more.

You know.. i-if I get reincarnated I’d choose to have you as one of my women. Kyle stuttered, his lips struggling to move along with his elelids closing.

Just when everything seemed bleak two items pierced both his hearts.

Slowly he could feel the strange substance leaving his body.

Swoosh swoosh!

Two figures shot out fast behind him dashing forward to the mimic. Plunging their spiked hands down several larger spikes erupted from the ground.

Using the shadows he sank into the ground moving towards xia and Ron.

Get outta there! Kyle barely screamed with the little energy he’d recovered. Listening to him xia and Ron lep back avoiding the incoming shadow.

Bam!

Like before the black spikes shot upwards from the ground. The shadow not stopping still moving forward.

W-what are you doing!? Get out of there! Kyle yelled seeing xia and Ron standing there. He didn’t know what they were planning but still. The mimic was unpredictable and could counter their plan thus inflicting damage to them.

He was still weak and defenseless with the toxins being extracted from him. So he couldn’t do much help to them in this state.

Just as the shadow was close though the duo plunged their spiked arm into it. Now one would’ve expected the black spikes to shoot up but it was in fact the opposite.

Screech!

The shadow let out loud screech, potruding several smaller sized black spikes at it’s top. Vibrating in a static motion forcing the mimic out.

You fools, you’ll regret that! The mimic roared in a distorted tone. It’s face changing into other faces it copied.

[Extracting toxins 34%]

Come on. Kyle grunted. attempting to move his right hand but only managed to move his fingers. He could also now move his left leg but it was still numb along with other parts of his body.

They have the advantage in number but his strength surpasses both of them. Kyle inwardly thought seeing xia and Ron facng off against the mimic. He couldn’t deny they were formidable together evading the mimic strike and responding with one of theirs.

But still the difference in strength was clear between them.



They’ll get exhausted fast this way, i-i have to help them. Gritting his teeth he struggled to his feet, standing on one leg. The frozen katana barely clutched in his hand.

Limping he looked like a zombie but he didn’t care. The only goal on his mind right now was aiding his parents.

Swinging his scythe Ron blocked the hit with his spiked arm. Giving way for xia to strike, plunging the her arm forward.

But before the hit connected the mimic suddenly was engulfed in shadows. Disappearing from his spot, slashing the scythe in an arc motion. Directly hitting Ron in the chest drawing out blood. Sending him flying back crashing to a pillar.

Not stopping the mimic followed up with a punch to which xia dodged stepping to the side. Attempting to jab the mimic in the head.

Pathetic. The mimic uttered with a disappointed look. Grabbing xia’s attack, stopping it with ease. Then proceeding to furiously kick he in the chest. Making her skid back some steps back.

Regaining herself she was about heading out to continue with the mimic but stopped seeing Kyle limping forward.

You.. rest! She sternly said with a frown making Kyle’s brow slightly twitch.

B-but you need my help

We, good. Xia brightly smiled heading out to face the mimic. Reaching she pretended to slash the being with her spiked hand.

With a light smile the mimic bracer for the hit which never came. As she stomped her feet shooting in the air landing besides Ron.

Fuse. She spoke placing her black spiked arm to Ron’s. And like magic the spiked arm loosened to a more gooey form. Moving with life joining together.
